06/04/2024: I had never been before and it was a great discovery. Excellent pizza (but fries a little too salty) and amazing desserts. Friendly and very helpful staff. We arrived almost 15 minutes late without being able to warn them and they didn't bat an eyelid. Punctual but not pressing service, on the contrary: almost too discreet. We stayed from 7.45pm until well after 11pm without being asked to clear the table. But staying for 15 minutes with the plate to be cleared without anyone stopping and having to call attention to myself is not the best: the place, however large it is, , it wasn't full and enough staff to keep an eye on everything; I expected more attention in clearing away empty plates. The order was taken without excessive waiting but the coffee was too short in a cup that was too large. Large room, well-spaced tables so you can talk in complete privacy even in the middle of the room and background music at a suitable volume to create atmosphere without drowning out people's voices. We'll be back, this time with a little more caution... And try the other desserts!

29/03/2024: This morning I came to have breakfast at 10 with my sister, the food was good but not excellent, the table they sat us at was still dirty, the waitress who took the order got it wrong and all in all the attitude general was not the best on the part of the staff, they were all very serious not to mention grumpy and at times rude.

06/03/2024: Very kind lady, friendly, calm and very professional. Alone behind the counter, with a smile on her lips, the classic smile of someone who loves their job. Rocket thanks for the biscuit with raisins!!

06/04/2024: This was such a great burger and sandwich place. They have a craft beer selection and the menu recommends the best pairing with each entree. The red onion rings are crispy and crunchy! I also recommend the habenero jam sauce if you like a kick!

20/03/2024: The veggie burger I got was a little anonymous and the waitresses a little apprehensive. Given the late hour at which my friends and I showed up - around 11pm - I can understand tiredness and stress on the part of the employees; but I don't feel like giving a higher rating.

31/03/2024: A simple tavern, one might say "of the past", very welcoming with traditional and non-traditional dishes. Area near the kitchen not particularly comfortable. Tough staff!

25/02/2024: Today we went to the Ducale pastry shop and ate some excellent pastries and delicious chocolate. The owner made us feel at home and was very kind. Highly recommended, we will certainly return

26/03/2024: Special! A simple, lively and cheerful bar! Excellent for aperitifs. The drinks aren't huge but they have a really honest price (€3 per spritz in this era of inflation is unheard of), so praise Bar Astra for its honesty!

17/03/2024: DISCORDIALITY AND ARROGANCE A friend of mine and I came in for a simple breakfast. Upon arrival we were asked if we had chosen what to take and we were still looking. The staff immediately seemed annoyed at our response and after a few minutes they arrogantly asked us if we had chosen, but the response was still the same as two minutes earlier with the addition of one of them: "but still choosing?". Furthermore, we ate on a table full of crumbs and no one even bothered to clean it up! I will definitely NOT go back there again! A person comes to be quiet, but above all he comes to pay! NOT RECOMMENDED

17/02/2024: Scoperta per caso passeggiando senza particolare meta in città. Una mattina invernale meravigliosamente limpida dove i raggi del sole evidenziano ogni particolare dei “gioielli” di Vicenza….e questa pasticceria è una chicca storica che merita una tappa. Caffè e fagottino tiepido con mele e pasta di mandorle OTTIMO, personale sorridente in un ambiente che profuma di storia. Finalmente lontano da quei locali tutto vetro e legno essenziali dove, bellissimo tutto, ma senza anima, senza carattere…..sono tutti uguali, come i negozi in franchising che rendono le città tutte simili, prive di personalità. Questa è una pasticceria unica e meravigliosa.

09/12/2023: Per chi ama i cicheti di pesce assolutamente da consigliare, ambiente piccolo, ma l'eventuale attesa sarà ben ricompensata.. oltre ai cicheti ottimo il fritto, buona scelta di vini, interessante lo spritz con cynar...ottime "i bussola"....
