18/09/2023: Amazing location with wonderful staff!! Our lunch was fantastic. The restaurant was clean and stylish. We would definitely return!

19/08/2023: Lunch was decent. Food ok. Excellent service at lunch. The beach chairs were a complete waste of money. Paid for first row. Not once asked if there was anything we needed. Did not have any towels gif the first few hours. Was really surprised it was that bad.

18/09/2023: We came for dinner at Aldo's just before sunset. The setting is very nice, and service was great. I really enjoyed the champagne cocktails, and the wine list. I had some oysters which were delicious. The mignonettes were OK, but I've had better. Then we had the sashimi platter. Oh so fresh. We should have ordered another platter. It was delicious. Then I had a cheese platter, which was too big and just OK. My daughter had some pasta that she really liked. At la Sponda below, we could hear a musician and I think that gave a lot of the ambiance for Aldo's as well. It was a very nice meal.

11/09/2023: Aldos bar is located at LaSponda and requires a separate reservation for a very small table in a very small bar. They serve drinks, small bites, lobster and other sea life. Service is tuxedo jackets And spot on. Dress to impress and do your best to try and walk in if you are lacking a reservation. Have fun

12/09/2023: This Lemon Granita saved my life and my marriage. After a two hour hike under the hot sun (would not recommend hiking the Path of the Gods in the summer), I was in a mood and feeling quite a bit of animosity towards my husband for dragging me on this hike (despite the beautiful views). It wasn't until I tasted the cold, refreshing, sweet and tangy, lemon granita that I stopped feeling homicidal. If you are hiking the Path of Gods, this is your lifeline. I applaud the owner of the Lemon Point for their business acumen; they know exactly how to make money from American hikers who don't heed the warning from locals to not hike this trail in the dead of summer. Bravo!

16/08/2023: Dopo una lunga scarpinata, il sentiero degli dei, ci troviamo a nocelle dove si trova il Lemon point che ci ha subito offerto un bicchiere di acqua fresca ben accetta, il ragazzo si è improvvisato conoscitore della nostra provenienza, sbagliando clamorosamente, ma si è rifatto preparandoci una granita al limone con succo di arancia.... Fenomenale! Si è poi superato riempiendo i nostri bicchieri con altra granita, senza volere nulla... Ottimo il caffè al limone... Bravo, bravo, bravo! E simpaticissimo!

25/09/2023: Amazing food! Husband and I had the top-tier tasting menu and it was excellent! Unlike some other Michelin-rated restaurants, we were very full by the end of our tasting … and then it just kept coming! The staff was incredibly nice, observant, and timely. The unique aspects of their tasting menus could be seen at all the tables. Compliments to the chef as the food was really quite incredible!

07/08/2023: This restaurant is in a spectacular location with an amazing view. They actually sent a water taxi for us (free) to/from the Positano main beach as it is hard to access via foot. We were so excited to arrive and take in the experience; however, as soon as the boat pulled up our waiter who greeted us seemed aloof and cold (Fransisco). The rest of the staff was superb - the water taxi captain was so nice, and the accompanying wait staff seemed caring, but this experience with Francisco was very off-putting and felt paticularly aimed at us as we were a group of gay friends traveling together. We noticed it right from the start - he seemed annoyed at requests to see the wine list (and tried to push wines not on the menu with no apparent price tag) and repeatedly mentioned wines we selected were "out" but that he could offer something comparable (that were much poorer quality/priced wines). Our waters sat empty the entire time and we had to ask for more (they were in a wine bucket) with him not even bothering to ever check in on us or see how we were doing. He completely forgot our friend's main course and didn't seem to care when our friend sat waiting to eat while we all were served - we finally had to flag him down and when we did he seem perplexed about the dish and it seemed clear he forgot about it and then seemed annoyed and said "it's coming". 25 minutes later after we were all finished our friend's dish came with not one word of apology or care from him. It also seemed that the other waiters could tell he was treating us differently as they seemed to step in at a few points to try and be helpful. We wondered at first if his cold demeanor and flippant, uncaring attitude were just part of his personality; however, we began to watch him interact with other tables around us with him smiling and laughing with them (also English-speakers) and him offering to take pictures, being the utmost of attentive to them in terms of serving water and wine, and him seeming to be constantly checking in with them. It seemed clear to us that he was annoyed at having to serve us and he made no apologies even after leaving us sitting without water, not serving wine or checking in when we were empty, not checking in otherwise, and him forgetting our friend's dish. We asked for the bill several times and he seemed to ignore us when we finally had to go to the host stand to ask for it. It's sad because the food was quite good overall, and the other staff were very friendly and nice, not to mention it being an exceptional and exclusive view. However, his service left us with a terrible experience of the place and really made us feel badly about being treated how we were. What's more, it really concerned us for the restaurant as we had eaten earlier in the week at their Michelin-starred restaurant, La Serra, which was OUTSTANDING and treated us very well. The restaurant would be smart to let this server go and train its staff on diversity and how to treat diverse guests (ensuring everyone is treated with respect and warmth). We recommend steering clear of this place until it is addressed.

17/07/2023: Impossible to find. No signs to the restaurant. Staff is nice but untrained. Quality of service does not justify the price.

09/09/2023: Scortesia e maleducazione verso il cliente. Abbiamo preso ombrellone e lettino e non ci era consentito l'uso della nostra ombra perché adiacente al vicino di ombrellone e neppure di poter far giocare i bambini. La pulizia della spiaggia inesistente. Già dal primo approccio ci si sente rifiutati. Non ci andremo mai più !

21/08/2023: Prezzi nella norma rispetto ad altri lidi di Ascea,cibo di buona qualità e porzioni abbondanti,servizi igienici puliti,servizio spiaggia efficiente. Parcheggio a pagamento (4.00)nello spazio antistante il lido possibile se si arriva entro le 10.30/ 11.00. Se vi sembra caro,sappiate che il parcheggio pubblico per tutto il giorno costa 6.00 euro...
