02/04/2024: I came here with friends for a birthday celebration. We were blown away with the high caliber of both food and service. We chose the 5 course tasting menu, which delivered traditional regional dishes executed tastefully. The portions were substantial and every dish we received was absolutely delicious. The wait staff were incredibly kind and made the experience memorable. I am eager to return for another amazing meal.

06/04/2024: Palazzo Murat was one of the most beautiful hotels we have ever stayed at. The service was impeccable. They upgraded us upon arrival to a room overlooking the water and hills of Positano and gifted us a complimentary bottle of champagne to kick off our stay. The concierge was so helpful and anytime we had a question or needed anything they helped us immediately. They helped us set up our sunset boat cruise and gave us information that helped us hike the path of gods. The breakfast was incredible it was such a lovely way to start our day each day. We were able to enjoy a day by the pool which had a beautiful view and was very relaxing. We enjoyed apritivo at La petit Murat on a couple of occasions. We also ate dinner at their Al Palazzo restaurant our last night and had a nice relaxing evening the food and service was also wonderful. The location is absolutely perfect as it gives you quick walking access to the water/ferries and access to the shops and other restaurants. I would 100% recommend staying at this hotel. The staff are kind and friendly and go above and beyond. Thank you to everyone there who made our stay a 5 star experience!

I only hesitated to review because I am selfish and would want the place for myself 😂 My very best wishes to everyone of the valet, the shuttle service, the management, both of restaurants, the beach and pool service, the cleaning ladies and of course the front desk. 30/10/2023: Fantastic food, whether fish or meat, pasta or dessert. What Raffaella and Erika conjure up in their kitchen is amazing. We enjoyed it so much that we even went there twice within a week. And thank you to the entire team for being there just for us on “your last evening”! Mille Grazie!

29/10/2023: I have been travelling Italy north to south (including Sardinia) for the past month. This is a 3 star restaurant compared to the high end restaurants I have been to. In positano, you will either pay for the view or the food or rarely both. This restaurant does not provide a view. The ambience inside the restaurant is nice but very basic. This brings me to critique the food here. We (a couple) had a pasta each, a main dish, and a dessert. When plates are priced at 23 to 35 euros a plate, I expect a wow factor or originality to the plate. This is your very basic standard "nonna" restaurant. The taste is good but no Wow. My seabass plate was a bit underwhelming. The tiramisu that I had was same as the one I got for 3 euros the day before. Here is my recommendation to you, this place is quite a drive up through very tight roads (as everywhere else), so I wouldn't displace myself specifically to go eat at this restaurant.

13/11/2023: Our hosts recommended this restaurant and we were not disappointed. They were happy to accommodate us despite not having a reservation and arriving late into Positano. Family owned with some of the most stunning views. Every window is like a postcard. The menu had a good variety and we loved our meal. Fresh, tasty food, great wine, and all for a very fair price!

05/04/2024: We were recommended this place by our B&B. We enjoyed our meal, it is price relatively well for Positano. Unfortunately the black and white pasta was unavailable but we had the option to choose another kind of pasta for the season food and lemon pasta dishes. The grilled vegetables were great. The lemon cake was amazing, the tiramisu was good but had chocolate chips inside which wasn’t to our tastes personally. Overall, the vibe is nice and you get to have a typical Positano lunch with a view without as hefty of a price tag compared to other places.

03/04/2024: The staff was very friendly, but the food wasn’t so hot and the pasta was a bit too al dente for us. It seems the meatballs and gnocchi are the way to go, but we went with mixed seafood and pasta as well as the pasta and tuna with onion special. The food was not bad, but not nearly as good as the other food we have had in the region. Maybe it was bad luck, but this was our experience. The wine from Etna was very nice!

07/04/2024: I stopped here for a pizza and the house wine. Extremely affordable for Positano and even compared to Vietri where I stayed. I paid €13. Friendly, welcoming staff. The pizza was absolutely delicious!

Positano marinadan 5 dakikalık bir tekne yolculuğuyla ulaşılan Da Alfonso küçük bir plaja da sahip. Rezervasyonunuz yoksa da, tekneyle geçip, saat 2:30’dan sonra boşalan masalardan birini yakalama şansınız var. Yemekler deniz mahsülü İtalyan mutfağı. Yediğimiz en iyi yemek değildi, ama atmosfer çok keyifli. Hiç bir zaman açılmayan bir telefonu var, rezervasyon için kalacağınız otelden destek alabilirsiniz ama en az 1 ay önceden yer ayırmamız lazım. It is almost impossible to find a table though. Da Alfonso, which can be reached by a 5-minute boat ride from Positano marina, also has a small beach. Even if you don't have a reservation, you have the chance to go by boat and catch one of the tables that will be available after 2:30.The food is seafood Italian cuisine. It wasn't the best meal we've had, but the atmosphere is very pleasant. They have a phone for reservation that is never picked up. You can ask for support from the hotel where you will be staying, but we need to reserve a place at least one month in advance. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the food was amazing and the view is spectacular! My husband and I will have dreams about the bruschetta, so whatever you do, you MUST order some!
