29/03/2024: Pasta and beans with legendary potatoes, angry pasta, Genoese cakes and two dishes of boiled green beans and potatoes. All very good and at a good price. Quick service. Generous portions. Nice environment. Summer garden. We come back for the meats.

05/04/2024: After a couple of attempts in the past months, we managed to book a table for 2. The place is small but nice, the food is good and fresh, but the portions are a little small for the prices. Friendly and kind staff: during rush hour there was a lot of confusion, so much so that I had to get up to ask for more bread... in any case they made it up to me. Next time we will return to try the paccheri that everyone acclaimed..

Excellent and plentiful quality of purely Ligurian recipes, wide choice of wines for those who love them, superlative sparkling wines and grappas for a certain type of palate. Beautiful and welcoming environment, friendly, competent and purposeful staff, food and wine prices in line with the high quality offered. In short, a top restaurant that can undoubtedly be classified as Ligurian excellence. Highly recommended for the few who don't know it and for those who really want to enjoy an excellent dinner or lunch in total relaxation and taste.

15/05/2024: It's been a long time since I've eaten such a delicious cozze at the start and afterwards and ravioli con ragu, highly recommended - also a great location on the promenade with a view of the sea and very friendly service! brunello di montalcino not cheap, but worth the price. will be happy to take another look! ☀️🥂🍝🍷👍🏻🇮🇹

15/05/2024: We are extremely disappointed with our experience at this restaurant. The quality of the fish was poor, clearly not fresh and poorly prepared, giving it a rubbery texture and bland taste. We had hoped to enjoy delicious fresh fish, but unfortunately this was not to be. The fish dish was more like a piece of boiled cobbler, while the octopus was also boiled and tasteless. Overall, our meal was a major disappointment, and we certainly won't recommend this restaurant to others.

13/05/2024: You reach this beautiful place with fantastic views over the bay via a winding road, far away from the hustle and bustle of the boulevard. The food was delicious, with local dishes, fish or seafood and beautiful vegetables. There are two four-course menus to choose from or you can dine a la carte. The menu was handwritten in Italian, but the service happily takes the time to translate and explain. The wine list is generously extensive. The environment is quite chic, so don't come here in your slippers and Hawaiian shirt! Reservations are recommended.

05/05/2024: After a long walk on the beach, La Vigna provides a spectacular end. On the hill overlooking the sea and narrow streets that remind me of my Badolato Superiore, narrow, steep streets with the scent of jasmine. Kitchen 😘

01/04/2024: We were here for Easter Monday lunch, a small and informal place with modest prices where you can enjoy very fresh and impeccably cooked fish. The farinata and stuffed artichokes are also excellent. Reservations are required, it is located in the historic center of Albenga but there is free parking nearby. Advised!

30/10/2023: This was the nicest meal we had in Portovenere and one of the nicest of our three-week Italy trip. We stopped by on a Sunday to make a reservation for Tuesday evening. The atmosphere indoors was lovely and the service was attentive. It's primarily a seafood restaurant so my options were incredibly limited as a vegetarian, but I truly enjoyed the bread, grilled vegetables, pesto pasta (though the portion was quite small), and a deconstructed tiramisu. My husband had a piece of fish and said it was incredible. Fancier experience corresponds with fancier prices, but such is life. We would return.
