01/05/2024: A hidden gem I would say! Its located in a very small road near the port. Its look like merely an antique house run by family members from father to daughter all down to the floor to serve costumers. Serving authentic Italian cuisine and of course good wines. It was almost full during lunch time when I was visited last time. The decoration is very cozy with strong antique Italian atmosphere. The books on the table and some indoor plants make it like a home to all. There are traditional Italian crunchy stick offers to costumers upon arrival. The food is no wonder serve freshly made to order. Taste good! Coffee and freshly baked cookies at the end of the meal. Lovely place, friendly service! Side road parking available depending on the business otherwise a small walk necessary.

03/10/2023: Forse, purtroppo, chiude. Questo ristorante, con magbifica terrazza, carta dei vini di qualità, menù molto valido con sempre qualche piccola novità, personale molto “dog friendly” potrebbe forse non riaprire. Così, mi ha detto il gestore con aria triste. Non mi è dato di sapere il perchè, non mi sono permesso di indagare. Spero veramente che possano tornare sui propi passi.

01/10/2023: Sabato sera 30 settembre, visto che al momento della prenotazione mi avevano detto essere chiusa la terrazza, appena arrivato vengo fatto accomodare nel giardino. Il servizio sarà gentile, celere e preparato alle mie domande sui vini, ma sarà il cibo quello che più mi soddisferà, il tutto in un contesto veramente gradevole nonostante gli avventori della tavola dietro alla nostra, decisamente rumorosi, ma non è certo colpa del locale. Di antipasto prendo un brandacujun cucinato in due maniere, la classica e in tempura, accompagnato da una salsina con una forte ma gustosissima preminenza d'aglio: buonissimo. Come secondo un fritto di totani e gamberi in pastella, abbondante ma delicatissimo nella frittura, quindi oltre che buono super digeribile, menzione d'onore al filetto di tonno preso da chi era con me: materia prima veramente eccellente, una crosticina delicatissima, il tutto su un letto di caponatina che, assaggiato, mi ha fatto strabuzzare gli occhi per quanto buono. Abbiamo accompagnato il tutto da un pigato morbido che era un piacere, conto totale per 4 piatti a base di pesce, una bottiglia di vino, coperto e acqua 105,00 euro: non ho mai pagato con tanta soddisfazione, questa è stata una delle sempre più rare volte nelle quali, uscire a cena, ne vale veramente la pena. A Diano il miglior posto nel quale abbia mai mangiato.

09/03/2024: L'osteria è un piccolo locale nel centro della città, che fa della semplicità il suo punto di forza. La proposta di Paola Passuello e legata al proprio territorio, ma non rinuncia a qualche escursione in Liguria, tenendo sempre alta l'attenzione per le materie prime soprattutto locali. Potete scegliere di mangiare in una delle tre sale , arredate in modo sobrio o, nella bella stagione, nello spazio esterno posto sul sagrato dell'ex chiesa di San Michele, ora conosciuta da tutti come Diavolo Rosso. Le influenze liguri sono riscontrabili soprattutto nella preparazione di piatti a base di pesce. Per antipasto non perdete la battuta di carne di fassona o il baccalà alla brandacujun , tra i primi gli immancabili agnolotti al plin o le trofie al pesto, come secondo coniglio alla ligure o brasato al barbera. Il bunet, le pesche e cioccolato, il tiramisù completano l'offerta. Ben articolata la selezione dei formaggi. Fornita la carta dei vini incentrata sui rossi piemontesi e bianchi del nord Italia. Ottimi i grissini.

27/05/2024: Posso dirlo a gran voce: le migliori trofie col pesto di Sanremo!!! Anche il brandacujun e i moscardini erano niente male 🤙 personale gentile e attento, posizione tranquilla in vicolo vicino al centro. Me l'ha consigliato un'amica che viene in villeggiatura qui da anni. Decisamente consigliato!

25/05/2024: Cercavamo un posticino dove cenare con amici e questa osteria non ci ha delusi. Buoni i piatti, prezzi onesti e servizio familiare. Semifreddo al limone e zenzero degno di nota. Ma lo prepara veramente la nonna?

08/05/2024: We had dinner at Ligagin and all 5 of us enjoyed a very good meal. The atmosphere was very pleasant in a nice location. Staff was friendly and helpful. I can definitely recommend Trattoria Ligagin. Today, May 08/24, we had lunch again and I can recommend the tagliatelle of nettles with funghi. At the end we had fried acacia flowers (see the flowers prior to frying) which are very nice. If they have it, try it.

15/04/2024: What can I say... I was immediately attracted by the menu I saw on the web, so I booked through Facebook and got on the motorbike with my wife and arrived here! I immediately received a warm welcome from the Piaggio sisters and then they delighted me with their dishes! Excellent Ligurian cuisine dishes revisited and offered with splendid dishes, I highly recommend the Italian frying. The other dishes were really excellent and genuine. I noticed the variety of the wine cellar and above all the quality of the bitters and spirits. What can I say, good girls!! And then the name... ligagin... which could be the nickname of the founder, which perhaps in Genoese meant the one who tied the vineyard or the hay or the fagots, or even the one who wove the baskets... but in any case the one who links the innovation of modern cuisine and above all that "links" the place and its customers!

04/04/2024: Really nice place in the center of Alassio. Not very bright inside, few seats. Only one waiter in the room, available and prepared. Not particularly rich menu. We tasted the cuttlefish on pea cream, a very delicate, good dish. Followed by fish soup and ravioli, both excellent. Prices ok!

24/03/2024: Very pleasant restaurant, excellent food, compliments to the chef, and perfect host, absolutely recommended, the phone doesn't work, so you can dedicate a couple of hours or more just to yourself, see you soon
