27/02/2024: We stayed on the small Island of Ortigia, Syracuse on Valentines day, Seby - L'Osteria was recommended to us, we had a wonderful evening there, the food, hospitality & atmosphere were all good. I would definietly recommend this restaurant, the small Island of Ortigia, is simply beautiful. Adam & Pam 💃❤️🕺🇮🇹🥰🥂🥂

31/03/2024: A restaurant that has represented Syracuse excellence for years and years. Flavors, smells that remain indelible in the mind. They perfectly represent the territory, the wind and the salinity of the sea. Suggestive venue and excellent cellar. Obviously Don Camilo could not exist without the legendary Chef Guarneri. Good job, everyone. Keep punching. Honorable mention to my favorite dish: prawns with cuttlefish ink on almond cream. For me the essence of the flavors of the Syracuse area.

23/03/2024: Beautiful restaurant. Good level of service. Something to review on the meat menu. Objectively not up to the level of the fish one in terms of quality and execution. Wines a little expensive.

06/11/2023: A warm welcome, delicious food, nice atmosphere and value for money. We left the choice for our dinner to the waiter and the chef. We don't regret that. The wine was also very good. A place to come back to. Better than the many restaurants in Noto with small portions and hefty prices.

22/10/2023: Semplicità nei piatti non vuol dire mancanza di tecnica, tutt’altro. A partire dalla scelta delle materie prime, del modo migliore per esaltarne colori, sapori e specificità. Tutto davvero molto buono. Spesso capita di imbattersi in chef che ti narrano un percorso ostico, complicato, difficile da condividere. Ieri sera abbiamo avuto una esperienza da vecchi amici pur essendo stata la prima volta da Vicari. Non economico, come giusto che sia quando dietro ogni piatto c’è un ragionamento, una ricerca, un percorso, ma soldi spesi bene per supportare un gruppo di lavoro che ti regala non solo ospitalità ma emozioni. Il pollo: fantastico. La melanzana: sublime. La cernia: perfetta. Ed una cantina completa con attenzione ai piccoli produttori. Lo consiglio vivamente.

02/04/2024: Stunning place in a characteristic courtyard of Ortigia a few steps from the Duomo, with a small veranda outside and seats also indoors... and above all, delicious food!!! The orange ricotta is excellent!!!

03/04/2024: Beer was ice cold and so was the service, I like those two. Food was the worst I’ve had in years. Tasted like a day in bed tomorrow.

01/04/2024: Tourist trap. Not sure why this place gets such high reviews but it’s not very local at all. Everyone eating there is a tourist and I totally regret going there versus walking further into Ortigia - even if those places are touristy, at least you have good views! The portions were very generous. The pistachio ravioli was very bland and the seafood pasta was not fresh. We didn’t finish either one.

20/03/2024: Having entered here by chance, while we were walking around Ortigia, Dr Villa (ophthalmologist) and I, also attracted by the beautiful location, ate divinely good fish. And I would especially like to point out the goodness of the fried swordfish and caponata, and finally two special fish-based first courses. I conclude with the friendliness and professionalism of the owners Sabrina and Lorenzo.

04/01/2024: Bel posto. Si mangia benissimo. La gentilezza della proprietaria e delle cameriere è proverbiale, Menù abbastanza completo e piatti presentati alla perfezione. Andate senza nessun problema. Sicuramente ci ritorneremo. Prezzi nella media di Ortigia.

10/12/2023: Locale piccolo ma accogliente, personale simpatico ed efficiente. Abbiamo ordinato una carbonara di mare e un tonno in crosta di pistacchi. Non velocissimo il servizio, ma poi la qualità e quantità ha ripagato l’attesa. Solo peccato per i tovaglioli di carta. Consigliato!
