23/04/2024: I read some comments that they are slow to serve but I found the timing right, then the food is wonderful of excellent quality selected by them at km 0 prepared all by them from 0, there are few of such high quality, balanced cuisine and made well, I also found it very cheap for everything they offer and do. Congratulations to everyone, nice, efficient and very good!

01/04/2024: Nice and typical restaurant of the Modena Apennines. Refined and very good food. The tortelli filled with braised meat are particularly worthy and the quality hamburger meat. Owner always ready and kind.

03/03/2024: The restaurant is in one of the nicest corners of Modena, the environment is pleasant and the staff very kind, this must be said.
However, perhaps also due to our less than perfect menu choices, what we got didn't really excite us. An ok starter, a second course of fish in which there was more celeriac than amberjack and a dessert which after the first spoonful we were unable to eat.
Very high price for the experience we had.

30/03/2024: You can eat any dish very well, especially the fresh stuffed pasta or not, from the Modena tradition, including gnocco and tigelle and exquisite desserts almost all made by them and the "Aosta Valley" and the fillets with balsamic are absolutely worth trying... kind and professional.

13/05/2024: I came back here after a long time and I must say that the pizza is one of the best in the province of Modena and its surroundings. Regina Margherita is special with a dough that melts in your mouth. Fast service and very friendly staff, especially waiter Antonio. Large and spacious environment, which is rare for the historic center. Next time I'll try some fish dishes. Definitely give it a try.

06/04/2024: The food is really good and generous portions, what we couldn't eat they gave us in a tray; we enjoyed!! Home cooking and friendly, helpful staff...the wait was a little long for the first course but then everything went smoothly; on the other hand it was Easter Monday and the place was full, so it fits!
Location a little dated, but clean.
We will certainly go back to taste what we just couldn't eat because the menu was varied.
Note: the bacon is excellent!!
03/04/2024: Going to eat at La Rana is always something done well, it's that place where you always feel like you're at home and where you find the dishes you always want to have on the table at home! It is essential to find someone who is not on a diet to go with, as it is a perfect place to hang out.
