21/03/2024: I stopped at lunchtime for a focaccia. Excellent ice cream, right price for the size! The girl who served me welcomed me with a smile and despite the queue it was super fast! Highly recommended, I will definitely return

03/04/2024: Always very crowded, luckily there is a queue rule. There are many beautiful ice cream cakes available. Many flavors of ice cream, with a wide assortment including gluten-free ones (usually 8) in total safety! Friendly and prepared staff. Too bad there are no indoor or outdoor covered seats, you have to stand inside or outside there are some benches on the side of the road.

04/04/2024: The place is really very nice. Perfect both for aperitifs with friends but also for a lunch or dinner break with a good choice of wines.

03/03/2024: The restaurant is in one of the nicest corners of Modena, the environment is pleasant and the staff very kind, this must be said. However, perhaps also due to our less than perfect menu choices, what we got didn't really excite us. An ok starter, a second course of fish in which there was more celeriac than amberjack and a dessert which after the first spoonful we were unable to eat. Very high price for the experience we had.

15/03/2024: As a lover of tea and herbal teas, I have been frequenting it for a few years and, whether I am alone or in company, I always find it to be an essential stop where I can relax while sipping a good tea accompanied by a delicious slice of homemade cake. An excellent place to have a relaxing conversation with friends or your special someone, but also to meet pleasant people with common interests, as I have often started a pleasant conversation with both the owner Giuseppe and with its customers - all accompanied by the inevitable jazz music in the background. In short, impeccable venue and staff, who always know how to recommend something new taking into account their own tastes and those of the customers. Wide choice of teas, infusions and herbal teas from all over the world - from the simplest flavors to the most refined and particular ones. Last but not least: the presence of a large and always spotless bathroom, which is not at all a given given the area. Highly recommended place!

06/04/2024: The food is really good and generous portions, what we couldn't eat they gave us in a tray; we enjoyed!! Home cooking and friendly, helpful staff...the wait was a little long for the first course but then everything went smoothly; on the other hand it was Easter Monday and the place was full, so it fits! Location a little dated, but clean. We will certainly go back to taste what we just couldn't eat because the menu was varied. Note: the bacon is excellent!!

03/04/2024: Going to eat at La Rana is always something done well, it's that place where you always feel like you're at home and where you find the dishes you always want to have on the table at home! It is essential to find someone who is not on a diet to go with, as it is a perfect place to hang out.

04/03/2024: We had a very good time, both for the availability of the managers (they explained the origins of crescentina to us, giving us all the information on how to best taste the product), and for the quality and variety of the raw materials used to fill the crescentine. There are tables outside or seats inside. Also highly recommended for its central location.

02/04/2024: One of my favorite places in Modena, very nice and well-kept place, possibility to sit outside too, I recommend going during the week and maybe booking in advance during the weekend. I've been there for both dinner and an aperitif and have always been very satisfied. The culinary offering is very interesting, certainly different from the classic Modenese offering which is sometimes a little too repetitive, and ranges widely between different places and cultures. Service always punctual and attentive, sometimes a little slow on the busiest days but I think it's perfectly normal.

11/03/2024: A great dinner where everything was excellent, both the food (which I would define as a Middle/Far Eastern mix) and the alternative atmosphere with strong references to art. Very nice staff, (a big applause to the waitress who I called Red Hot Chili Peppers) easy-going and very kind. For me, everything was perfect: you'll see me again guys ☺️
