14/10/2023: I'm the owner's wife's best friend but I must say it was the best food experience I have had in Italy for a long time. Just try the Pizza Margherita and you will taste the unbeatable quality of the ingredients they use. Simple but fresh genuine flavors. I also had the chance to try the more deliciously complex A' purpettell' e Mammà made with ingredients like Provola Agerolese, Polpettine fritte and ricotta Caseificio Costanzo as well as A Salsicc' e Friarell. I enjoyed such great food with the added bonus of the beautiful view of the Maronti beach.

13/10/2023: Fantastic restaurant with lovely owners, great service and the food is out of this world. The freshest ingredients.
I dined at Ottomano twice and both times were a hit!
The grilled calamari is enough for two and the caprese salad is just delicious.
The seafood pasta was another favorite, and the house white wine paired (too) well ;)
I'd highly recommend this spot.

27/01/2024: Caratteristico locale situato in un angolo del canalone che conduce alle terme di Cavascura. Ottimamente gestito dalla quinta generazione della stessa famiglia. Ottimi piatti sia di terra sia di mare, speciale il coniglio all'ischitana e le zeppole preparate al momento. Vino di qualità di produzione propria. Locale pulito e accogliente, ti fa sentire a casa
08/10/2023: Location caratteristica. Deve piacere il rustico. Cibo abbondante e di buona qualità seppur non particolarmente eccezionale, ma il servizio rende l'esperienza veramente esasperante. Causa continuo arrivo di comande in asporto, il servizio al tavolo fra antipasto e primo è stato di OLTRE 80 minuti. Non lo consiglio.

31/03/2024: Got rejected when trying to make a reservation for one person… being single is hard enough already, didn’t need a punishment for it. But the pictures look cute so I’m sure it’s good
20/11/2023: Our family had my son’s rehearsal dinner at this restaurant. They pulled out all the stops! We must have had eight different courses of appetizers and each one was marvelous. All the vegetables were incredibly fresh and the pastas were each so flavorful and different.
The mains were great too.
The owners worked very hard to make this a memorable evening!

04/04/2024: The pizzas are excellent, we have been going there for several years, the pasta is good, the crust is very puffy, there are many flavors and combinations with the possibility of also having a stuffed crust or pizzas of a particular shape. The menu also includes many quality cuts of meat. Endless appetizers which are very abundant.
The staff is courteous and helpful, the place has plenty of seating, and in the main room there is also a beautiful view over the entire gulf.

06/10/2023: Wunderbare Atmosphäre, phänomenales Essen, tolle Aussicht und exzellenter Service. Immer wieder schön hier hinzukommen.
29/09/2023: Das Nuovo Tropical ist der erste und der letzte Ort, den wir bei unseren Ischia-Aufenthalten besuchen. Es ist der Moment des „Coming Home feelings“. Ankommen, der Sprung ins Meer und dann Abendessen. Tagsüber, nachmittags und abends, es ist immer schön hier. Giovanni, Manuele und Papa (in der Küche) machen mit ihrer freundlichen, natürlichen Art einen Ort des „Seins“.
Bevor es zurück in den Alltag geht, ist dieses Plätzchen nocheinmal unser Ort um einzusaugen an Licht, Insel, Meer, Pasta und Gastfreundschaft, damit wir den Winter zu überstehen…

La Pace Detto La Scarrupata

21/08/2023: Unica nota positiva il panorama e la bellezza mozzafiato della caletta. Se pensate di visitare la Scarrupata armatevi di panini e acqua da casa. Il ristornate è da denuncia: cibo pessimo, modi scortesi, trattamenti di favore a clienti abituali, 5 EURO di coperto nemmeno specificati sul menù. Pesce pieno di sabbia, porzioni ridicole e iper salate.
Il lettino costa 10 euro al giorno (e fin qui tutto bene) ma viene dato solo a chi decide di pranzare al ristorante. Un furto legalizzato. E non abbiamo visto l’ombra di uno scontrino. Do 1 perché non posso dare 0.
20/08/2023: Siamo stati oggi a pranzo e non ci ritornerò mai piú.. c’era un topino di campagna per conto suo lontano dagli ospiti era innocuo e non ha minimamente infastidito i commensali,è arrivata una signora , forse una delle proprietarie e ha iniziato a prendere a bastonate il topino.. si è fermata solo xk il topolino è riuscito a nascondersi e xk tutte le persone presenti avevano iniziato a urlare di fermarsi!
Ad un certo punto la signora si gira ed inizia a dire parolacce a tutti i presenti!!
Mai piu!!!!! Sono stata male tutto il giorno per quel gesto violento!!!
