17/03/2024: Excellent experience, we went on a Sunday for lunch and by pure luck we found the last available place. The quality of the food was really excellent! The house wine is exceptional, I highly recommend it.
Even the simple appetizers, few but really good. Even the first courses and the dessert are really good, you can feel that they are local products. Overall we had a great time, the owner is a really nice and helpful person. Excellent service. In short, if you are passing through I highly recommend this place. The only thing is to book a little in advance, unfortunately it is always full!

24/01/2024: We celebrated our daughter's baptism in this splendid location. The owner and the chef are fantastic people, professional and available to accommodate our requests. The dining room staff was punctual and courteous. We received compliments from all the guests. Quality and quantity of food impeccable. We will definitely return for other occasions.

25/03/2024: Restaurant with attention to detail, good classic cuisine revisited. Varied à la carte menu with honest prices, excellent quality of fresh and live fish always available. Vast list of carefully selected wines and premium bar corner with excellent spirits. Very central location with waterfall view. Trained and friendly staff. Very crowded on weekends and especially on nice days the external platform along the river. (Better to book) for me the best in the area for a certain target. Tried and tried again, actually a permanent appointment!

31/03/2024: Mandatory Easter stop (coming down from the Trisulti Charterhouse passing through Veroli I didn't find a free place) but I ate very well, the quality of the grilled meat (lamb and pork) was superb with a sausage that I've rarely eaten so good. Live music is a very popular Neapolitan Easter lunch, but it was very pleasant and not at all annoying. I stopped at home but I recommend it, 4 undeserved stars, it deserves more

Ottimi prodotti, ricette ben fatte, impeccabili i secondi di pesce.
Servizio attento, curato e con una buona conoscenza anche della carta dei vini.
Buon rapporto qualità/prezzo.
Di sicuro tornerò per assaggiare la carbonara con il tartufo.

29/03/2024: Exceptional place, very chic and warm in welcoming. Fantastic atmosphere both inside and out given the breathtaking panorama of the waterfall. The only flaw is that the prices are a little high compared to the portions of the platters and the capacity of the cocktails. For the rest, a very popular place! Excellent service and super wow!

13/03/2024: I was in Isola del Liri for work recently,
I decided to stop with some friends to eat, we were undecided whether to go to the kebab shop or the bistro, in the end we chose the bistro.
I wasn't expecting gourmet haute cuisine (also because personally I'm not crazy about it)
We opted for 2 carbonaras and a grecetta,
A piece of advice guys in the egg and pecorino cream 2 teaspoons 2 more numbers and you would need more bacon not 4 counted petals, as soon as the dishes arrived we were satisfied, upon tasting NO we practically ate plain pasta,
A real shame since I was in the region where these dishes were born, I was expecting a little more culinary rigor.
Nothing to say at the service, the boy apparently agitated, I don't know for his own reasons, and had an unsettling charisma, perhaps he too knew that the chef didn't give his best on that occasion.
