20/03/2024: "on the fly" there is NOTHING! Over 45 minutes for a sandwich...let's talk about it. They leave aside the courtesy of the staff... nothing against the waiter, much against the manager. So polite that to a visually impaired person with a cane who asked for a bright place he replied: "there's only what you see there" and the poor gentleman kindly asked which place he was referring to. I leave aside the courtesy shown towards us given the stroller. Speaking of food, certainly many interesting proposals, given how "name and street food" presents itself, I would have expected something more approachable. We took "normal" sandwiches and to be honest the taste was very good but the bread was too hard. To be honest I must say that the "special" sandwiches certainly seemed, at least visually, softer.

12/05/2024: We only took one pizza from the menu, beer wine coffee so we can't judge the cuisine but only the pizzeria. I complimented the pizza chef because the dough was light, well-leavened and absolutely digestible. the environment is nice, nothing exceptional but absolutely worth a visit due to the absolutely low costs. The value for money is excellent.

07/05/2024: We went to them to celebrate our wedding anniversary.. Excellent food, excellent service, even quite quick between one course and another but, not too much... it was an excellent lunch, then having lunch with a beautiful view makes you appreciate everything even more. The only flaw was parking..

I hadn't celebrated Easter for 7 years, I was pleasantly rewarded by a fantastic place, I say quality and courtesy reign supreme. Thank you 🙏🏼 recommended. 24/03/2024: We had dinner in this place which is certainly almost a search for taste with simple, traditional but also innovative and refined dishes. It is not a restaurant of quantity but of quality with adequate portions. We enjoyed special appetizers e.g. The sautéed artichoke and prawns (fresh). But you can eat traditional dishes e.g. the plin ravioli. The wine is of quality with prices appropriate to the label: a Nebiolo cannot be compared to the tavernello. Excellent desserts/ice creams. In short, it was a refined and pleasant evening with impeccable and courteous service. Anyone looking for a Piola should not come here and then complain about prices and quantities. There is always McDonald's ready to welcome them with fast food that is always the same and homologated but good food and tradition are something else, a fine wine cannot be compared to Coca-Cola. I don't want to be arrogant but remember the Marquis del Grillo: "I am me and you are not.....".

01/04/2024: We had dinner on Thursday evening in this place, the service was completely wrong in my opinion, the waiter who served us was hasty and rude right away, being five people we had the opportunity to taste a few dishes and nothing or it was almost worth the prices shown; However, the place is very nice and well-kept.

31/03/2024: We booked and tasted the goose tasting menu and were satisfied with it. Special, refined and home-made appetizers, generous portions and excellent quality. Difficult to get to the end, given the quantity and satiety! Excellent and proportionate prices. Helpful and kind service, perhaps the only flaw is a little slow. Clean bathrooms and a spacious and welcoming room.

03/03/2024: A place to eat in peace in a simple but at the same time welcoming and warm place. Excellent pizza, as are the dishes from the kitchen. Very kind and prepared staff. The oil they bring you to season the bread with the addition of salt is excellent. I recommend the Sicilian bitters at the end of the meal. Advised.

13/03/2024: I don't like giving bad reviews but I didn't have a good experience: it was a less than positive experience. I went for a quick solo lunch. There was a bad, rancid smell in the room. You order with your phone by reading a QR code, I imagine it's a way to reduce the number of staff, who use kindness and diligence but trot around the tables a bit anxiously. I ordered a pasta with tomato, olives and water. The consistency and cooking of the pasta was not bad, the expensive Sicilian olives are without infamy and without glory, while I didn't like the sauce: it seemed like a low-quality puree, simply spilled onto the plate. The plate had a chipped upper left edge (see photo). The water on the menu (see photo) was supposed to be a 75 CL glass and instead I was served a 50 CL jug (see photo), and on the bill it says "Gas 0.5 glass" (see photo). Being in a certain hurry, having had to deal with a fair amount of cumbersomeness in issuing the invoice, not wanting to increase the stress level of the kind waitresses, I didn't bother to point out. The electronic invoice arrived after 16 days. Overall I had the impression of a cunning management that aims to save money, sacrificing service and quality. Despite myself, I can't help but wonder: if they don't bother to serve water that is obviously of lesser value than the one on the menu, what will be the actual value of the products for which it is not possible to carry out a clear verification?

26/03/2024: Excellent place where they serve all fish dishes. An exceptional dinner in a quiet and private environment. Really good food, nice staff. Price in line with a restaurant of this type, obviously you don't spend like at McDonald's but the prices are reasonable. It really deserves it.

04/04/2024: Very nice place with friendly and efficient staff. I took the fixed menu and received a tray (just for me) of cured meats, a small one of cheeses, one of jams and a large quantity of fried gnocco. Followed by a really great rib. I was very satisfied with both the quality of the food and the price. Advised!

21/11/2023: Ci troviamo nelle prime colline dell'Otrepo Pavese. Il ristorante ha radici molto profonde e si può considerare una tappa obbligata per gustare prodotti tipici. Il ristorante ha accoglienti locali, con sedute e coperti spaziosi. L'ospitalità è ottima e cortese, che ti accompagna con discrezione ma ben presentando le portate. Il menù (nel nostro caso di Autunno) è composto da squisiti piatti della tradizione, con qualche piacevole divagazione, e molta attenzione alle materie prime ed alla loro origine. Bene la lista dei vini, soprattutto per la giusta rilevanza nei confronti delle eccellenti Cantine dell'Oltrepo! Il rapporto prezzo/prestazioni tende verso l'alto, ma il complesso di location, accompagnamento e piatti, lo consente. Consigliato, da provare.

21/11/2023: We are located in the first hills of Otrepo Pavese. The restaurant has very deep roots and can be considered an obligatory stop to taste typical products. The restaurant has welcoming rooms, with spacious seats and place settings. The hospitality is excellent and courteous, accompanying you with discretion but presenting the dishes well. The menu (in our case Autumn) is made up of exquisite traditional dishes, with some pleasant digressions, and a lot of attention to raw materials and their origin. The wine list is good, especially for the right relevance towards the excellent wineries of the Oltrepo! The price/performance ratio tends towards the high, but the combination of location, accompaniment and dishes allows it. Recommended, worth trying.
