02/04/2024: Rustic and familiar environment, with friendly and approachable staff. Excellent typical dishes, from polenta to meat, with prices appropriate to what is eaten.
02/01/2024: We came to this restaurant for lunch on January 2nd hoping it was open and luckily it was 😍 the owner was super welcoming and the service was very fast.
We had an appetizer with cured meats and local specialties which were delicious (especially Russian salad and beans). Then an excellent wild boar with mouth-watering polenta.
For dessert we had a steaming homemade strudel which was also very good.
Recommended to anyone visiting the Basilica!

06/04/2024: A good place where you can eat good pizza. I've been frequenting it for several years when I'm in Biella, although, I admit, I don't go very often. However, in general I have always eaten well. Excellent pizzas, with a good choice. What's missing is a minimum of "update". It's good that it's also open in the evening, we went out at almost 11pm on Friday but it has a slightly retro style. For example, in my opinion a bit of background music would be good, perhaps, on some evenings, even a piano bar corner with karaoke or a small cabaret, with someone telling jokes, perhaps even the guests themselves, as I saw in other venues. In short, people want to eat, relax and, why not, have fun. Still, it's a good place!

31/03/2024: I was here for Easter lunch, the place was almost full.
In short, a menu equal to that of a restaurant where you can go on a lunch break from work.
Food without infamy and without praise, but with good value for money.
The real flaw was the wait. We were a table of six people and we had to wait more than an hour for the first course to arrive, plus another half hour to receive the second.
We can understand the occasional frenzy linked to a holiday, but it doesn't take a genius to understand it in advance, increasing the staff in the dining room and adequately managing the kitchen team.
To summarize: extremely basic menu, very mediocre quality of dishes, unjustified waiting times, but good price and friendly staff.
Personally I would not recommend this place.

26/03/2024: Restaurant recommended by the mayor, and deservedly so: the risotto in Cagnone is a cream cheese delight, the cold cuts are excellent, the cuisine is very authentic and the owners are kind and friendly. The portions are almost exaggerated, in Milan three people can eat the same quantity (at triple the price). We didn't make it to dessert, but we will next time

09/03/2024: We went for dinner around 7.45pm. The first course arrived at 8.32pm (2 spring rolls); the second course arrived at 8.50pm and so on. In total for about 10 courses. End of dinner at 10pm.
The quality of the food is good but does not justify such a long and slow service, considering that we had not asked for elaborate dishes.
Friendly staff, pleasant place.

30/10/2023: Never was a more appropriate name: like being at home. Place with few seats, welcoming and cozy, very friendly and kind owners, we ate very well, from starters to dessert, all excellent (special mention for the cotechino and the red fruit cheesecake, delicious!).
Forget about those restaurants with long menus where most of the stuff is frozen, here the focus is on quality: a limited menu with excellent, fresh and genuine raw materials, more than honest prices.
Given the already cold temperatures we obviously had lunch inside, but in warmer periods we will certainly try the splendid terrace.
Discovered by chance, it will undoubtedly become a fixed stop every time we pass through here. Highly recommended.
14/10/2023: A place and place that I have known since it opened about ten years ago, simple and sincere cuisine, the quality of the products is a matter of principle, today for example very fresh porcini mushrooms are a real delicacy! extremely courteous and friendly service that makes you feel at home, the view is beautiful, great place for children too.

17/03/2024: Arriving at 2.30pm and aware of finding little or almost nothing to eat, we went inside.
Newly managed place with a modern and welcoming design, friendly and helpful staff in finding us a table even though the restaurant was full.
Varied menu populated by a wide range of local and very attractive products.
Polenta finished but we enjoyed a special appetizer and stellar tongue.
Below average prices and very high quality.
We will definitely be back!

14/01/2024: Siamo stati a pranzo una domenica, prenotazione effettuata la sera prima e nonostante il ristornate fosse pieno sono riusciti a trovarci un posto. Personale gentilissimo, Caterina in particolare simpatica e cordiale. Polenta ottima e servizio preciso e veloce (ci siamo seduti alle 14:30 e alle 15:15 avevamo praticamente finito di pranzare con primo e secondo) menzione d’onore al fatto che senza avvisare ci siamo presentati con due cani Akita molto grandi e sono stati gentilissimi facendoci accomodare nella sala esterna più spaziosa.
Consigliatissimo!

23/03/2024: The classic pizza in a pizzeria in the company of friends which I recommend. Spoiler alert: it's not a real pyramid so no sarcophagi or mummies but you can still taste an Egyptian climate probably because of the oven.

We've been taking it every week since we discovered the place. The other dishes are also all excellent, generous portions, very high quality products (not to mention the olive oil they leave on the table 😋😍).
I agree that it's not cheap, but for us it's so good that it's always worth it.
And I repeat, the products are of quality and this justifies the price.
Even the desserts are super!
Finally, I find them cute, but above all very fast. The place is always PACKED, but I have never waited a minute longer for delivery (in fact sometimes if I arrive early they deliver earlier). Ditto at the table, whether it's Saturday evening or during the week, after a few minutes you're already eating. Crazy since they have a lot of covers + home service + takeaway!
