17/10/2023: What a beautiful spot to dine! Don Tabare is tucked away on a side street with a lovely courtyard filled with elevated tables and lit up umbrellas. Service was excellent - helpful and professional, guiding us through some of the must have dishes and we were not steered wrong.
The food was inventive and delicious - the four of us shared multiple dishes of arancini, parmesan canollo, pastas, fish of the day and octopus. Each one executed perfectly.
We also enjoyed browsing the wine shop inside the restaurant as well as tasting several different amaros for a digestive, post our delicious feast!
We would highly recommend Don Tabare and thanks to the Don Tabare staff for a fabulous experience!
01/10/2023: A real discovery, high quality products treated with great respect for the raw material. The cannoli with parmesan and the boiled meat are excellent! Very nice and friendly staff, I will definitely come back

04/02/2024: Unsuitable value for money. Long waiting times and then really lean dishes. First courses flavored and second courses not adequate. The cost is exaggerated in relation to the quality and quantity of the dishes.

02/04/2024: A fantastic pizzeria with very friendly staff! A delicious pizza was prepared for me, exactly like the one shown in the photo, following my personal wishes. I called it "Pizza Roberto" and will definitely be back soon. The taste and freshness convinced me. Furthermore, it sits beautifully on the terrace.
24/03/2024: Decent pizza, arrived after two and a half hours of waiting. They told us that they had a table on the terrace with the stoves turned on: after ten minutes the stove cylinders ran out and we were left freezing with a two year old girl, we asked several times to relight the stoves and we were told very rudely that they no longer had gas cylinders. On a Saturday evening in March it is not correct to leave customers in the cold, responding in an evasive and rude manner, without even remotely thinking of offering a alternative especially in the presence of a small child. Approximate service, unspeakably bad.

28/09/2023: Al contrario di quello che ho letto, per me è stato tutto molto buono. Eccellente. Io invece ritornerò.
17/08/2023: Posto assolutamente da evitare, penso anzi sono sicuro che è stata la peggior esperienza culinaria della mia vita.
Risotto alla pesctora a dir poco indecente, spaghetti alle vongole peggio del risotto. Con i secondi siamo andati peggio dei primi: pesce spada avariato e frittura mista non commentabile.
Una nota per il personale: cambiate mestiere.
Per ultimo voglio dire che la mia recensione è anche generosa perché se avessi potuto esprimermi come desideravo probabilmente sarei stato bannato.

26/07/2023: Non ho parole: vengo in Sicilia da diversi anni, avrò provato centinaia di posti dove fanno cannoli e granite e questo è il posto migliore di tutti. Non faccio mai recensioni ma questa è doverosa. Cannoli freschissimi, fatti al momento, enormi (e solo 2€!). Granita al limone fra le best 3 (2€!!).
Semplicemente una cosa fuori dal comune.
Il mio compagno ha preso anche un gelatino, tipico di qui. Costava 0,50€ e ce l’ha offerto.
Mai visto un posto migliore per rapporto qualità prezzo.
Il cannolo da 2€ a Roma lo trovi a 4 è non è buono neanche un quarto. Gliene avrei dati anche 6 per quello che era.
Fra l’altro il posto ha i tavolini fuori ed è in una piazzetta con un grande albero sopra i tavolini.
Fatevi un favore e prima di andare in spiaggia a Donnalucata, passate da qui a fare colazione. Poi tornateci a fare merenda.

20/07/2023: Un'esperienza bellissima e squisitissima!! Ottime colazione con crema e ricotta spettacolare. Granite altrettanto. Che dire? Andateci e non ve ne pentirete! Le 3 ragazze molto brave e preparate.

10/08/2023: A pochi passi dal centro storico di Scicli c'è questa pasticceria che offre tantissima scelta e soprattutto tantissima qualità. Buonissime le cassatelle di ricotta ragusane. Personale cortese e prezzi nella media.
