31/03/2024: It is almost impossible for me to give five stars, I have never done so but here we are close, a welcoming almost family environment, managed by a family so attention to detail. The dishes are not the classic cooked ones but prepared in a workmanlike manner and above all aesthetically artistic. It has enchanting niches inside where you can read and relax, created in a room that was once a children's bookshop, it is full of books and above all plants that make you feel at ease in a naturalistic atmosphere. The menu with particular products focuses heavily on vegetables and therefore healthy. Congratulations, truly a wedding favor. Very affordable prices. The photos speak for themselves.

01/04/2024: Found while wandering around on google maps, we discovered this cloister which deserves a lot, not so much, if there was a possibility I would have given the location 6 stars! In this place, in addition to fabulous culinary evenings, we took a journey through history, all described by the very kind owner (also all the staff). Original furnishings, excellent mise en place done with taste! Delicious food, you can feel the goodness of the products and the use of raw materials, generous portions and superlative desserts! There is also a beautiful lounge bar on site! Highly recommended! The gluttons!

30/03/2024: Excellent experience, kindness and helpfulness from all the staff. Really good pizza, a little expensive but delicious. An endless list of finger-licking traditional desserts. Fast service. 1 starter, 4 pizzas, 1 abundant vegetable, 1 bottle of wine, water, dessert, coffee and bitters for the price of €21 per person... What can I say, honest shopping. I recommend booking a few days in advance. Highly recommended.

30/03/2024: Fast and friendly service, honest prices and generous portions. I recommend the Gran Tagliere, with which up to 3 people can eat. The first courses which reflect the culinary and Tuscan tradition are also highly recommended. Whether it's pappardelle with wild boar ragù or pici senese they are all excellent. Also worth trying is the ribollita. The Florentine is also very well made. Paid parking nearby.

30/03/2024: We had dinner on two consecutive evenings given the quality and friendliness of the staff. The environment is not spacious, but very welcoming. We recommend it.

Highly recommending to have a good diner there we have enjoyed really good time and tasting the local Italian food. The quality of the food is there, appreciated this experience. 28/03/2024: The ribeye steak (dry aged) was very tough. Not very tender. Very expensive! At least there was a small discount and a bottle of Chianti Classico to make up for it.

01/04/2024: We returned this evening after spending Easter in this hotel. Very nice place surrounded by greenery with two swimming pools (one very beautiful, in a garden full of daisies with various benches and chairs to sit and relax). It is possible to get to San Gimignano on foot with a walk through the greenery that starts right there near the hotel. Rich breakfast with fresh cold cuts and quality desserts. Excellent and plentiful Easter lunch, very kind waiters like all the staff, I want to say! Nice room with a nice terrace overlooking the garden. I would definitely stay here again to take advantage of the two beautiful swimming pools. The environment is very relaxing and we had a really good time, congratulations to everyone!

11/02/2024: The structure is welcoming, well organized and easily accessible by car. The village of San Gimignano is just a few minutes away either by car or on foot. The rooms are spacious, clean and refined in every detail. Abundant and international breakfast, satisfied the tastes of each of us. The staff were friendly, helpful, polite and, above all, always smiling. The shuttle service to San Gimignano is excellent. An experience we will repeat.

17/04/2024: Finally, after many years, it happened again. After the tasting menu, I looked at my digestif and was: simply happy. But first things first. On a fairly rainy Easter Monday we arrived half an hour earlier than reserved, which was no problem at all. Service was quick in the rustic, pleasant atmosphere. We both opted for the tasting menu including wine accompaniment, but asked for another course; we didn't want to miss the fried artichoke with orange hollandaise (rightly, as it turned out). Our request to start the wine tasting with a Prosecco was immediately granted and the first course started quite quickly. Already after the second course it was clear that each course was deliberately tailored to 2-3 flavors that harmonized wonderfully, which the boss confirmed to us in a later conversation. This makes reducing things to the essentials fun. The order and conception of the menu were perfect for us. The wine pairing was precise, the selection was noble and demonstrated expertise. As a digestif I wanted a grappa that was soft but not too sweet or a rhum that was not too sweet. I was surprised with a grappa aged in a rhum cask called "Hija ilegitima", which at 57% vol. had a wonderful balance between softness and character, another wow moment. One thing is certain, even if it takes us over an hour to get there: we'll be back.
