31/03/2024: A truly unique experience. Family management is the added value, not improvisation but 60 years of experience that can be seen by all. From the welcome to the cleanliness, to the courtesy and the quality of the food. My gluten intolerant wife found every possible pampering in the breakfast room, all strictly freshly cooked. Not to mention the extraordinary experience in the starred ORTO restaurant inside the Hotel. Raw materials and professionalism of the staff will repay the trust. Thanks to Orietta for her great availability and for the story of her family. The hotel is a few steps from the station which can be reached with a dedicated lift. Ideal for the Cinque Terre tour.

02/04/2024: Nice hotel with a great location for the village and the train station. Lovely decorated. Nice personel. Ms. Luana and Mr. Francesco are very nice and accommodating. I had a lot of fun and would come again. Super fine dinner all week long. Breakfast is sufficient and tasty. Please note - Italy = not a whole grain country! I (45) stayed at the Hotel Villa Argentina for a week with a hiking group from BUND-Reisen. The bathroom around the shower is a bit narrow.

26/03/2024: Our salvation for a Tuesday night in March, which became a great surprise. Very fast and friendly service and top food. Strongly recommended!

25/03/2024: Not just a meal but an experience. Each course was a delight, both visually stunning, explained thoroughly by the excellent service team and then also just plain delicious. I especially loved the course with a pressed oxtail (and the sauce!) and the rabbit button pasta (and the sauce!) but was also stunned by the beautifully green barley risotto, the fermented drink pairing that came with the artichoke dish, the desserts... oh and the quail, that I have never eaten better prepared. The philosophy of the restaurant is one of using local ingredients, marrying garden, sea and mountain, and I just cannot overstate how much I enjoyed my evening that felt more like a journey than "just" a dinner. Oh and did I mention that the focaccia is just out of this world, and all the cutlery and dishes are handmade? A place I will remember for a long time, and hope to come back to soon. Thank you!

20/10/2023: Excellent dining experience. We chose the chef's menu (the most complete) and were rewarded with a series of dishes that led us to learn about and explore local ingredients and products, all beautifully presented. The chef's experience in the use of vegetables and herbs is noteworthy, as they accompany each dish, highlighting its flavours. I was really struck by the dessert: wild strawberry mousse with basil and trumpet courgettes, absolutely sublime, congratulations!
