16/01/2024: Il Caffè Pasticceria Impero del gusto è tra i più antichi di Alassio. Tranquillo ed accogliente luogo di ritrovo. Qui si possono gustare gli ottimi caffè, cappuccino e la cioccolata tra i più buoni di Alassio accompagnati da una ricca varietà di ottime paste e pasticcini, tra i quali spiccano le chantilly, brioches e krapfen, biscotti, i famosi baci di Alassio, tutti sempre freschi e gustosi. Tutti i giorni era per noi un rilassante riposo dopo le belle lunghe passeggiate sul lungomare. Sia tra i tavolini fuori che anche tra quelli nell`accogliente saletta all`interno. Il tutto sempre accompagnato dalla cordiale disponibilità, cortesia, attenzione nel soddisfare i nostri desideri da parte delle gentilissime Signora Daniela e della Signora Irene, dal sempre allegro Signor Giacomo, che meritano tutti un riconoscimento personale e particolare per la loro dedizione e partecipazione. Con tanti complimenti meritatissimi al sempre sorridente Sig. Mario titolare con la bravissima e abilissima pasticciera Signora Celeste. Arrivederci a presto! Giancarlo e Augusta.

22/11/2023: If you are a tourist, do not go there. They have just cheated me and gave too little change (very quickly, no time for me to react).

05/04/2024: A large salad at lunchtime to change from the fried squid and pesto pasta. Very good. On the terrace on the beach. Nice stop despite a somewhat surly welcome.

03/04/2024: We had a great time and it's the second time we've been back. The food was good, the price wasn't exactly cheap

23/03/2024: Internally very welcoming and romantic place, they don't accept reservations, you have to wait to enter and the tables have a maximum of 6 people and there is also the case of being able to wait a bit outside to enter so if you go there make sure you take the evening very calmly . The menu is cocktail-only with an infinite vastness of cocktails, all very particular, even if many didn't excite me. The owner is fantastic and explains divinely. Definitely an experience worth trying.

12/03/2024: Small hidden bar, no more than 6 people enter. Exotic atmosphere inside, very nice decor. It takes at least 15 minutes to choose your cocktail from a long menu, and the result does not disappoint!

10/01/2024: Restaurant situé à deux pas du front de mer mais à l'écart de la foule. L'intérieur est chaleureux, type champêtre avec grosses poutres, gros lustres et beaux tableaux et fresques. Dans la salle se trouve une jolie deuxième salle intimiste surélevé qui surplombe l'ensemble. L'accueil n'est pas très chaleureux mais efficace, le patron dont son portrait orne l'entrée participe au service aux côtés du reste de sa famille. Les plats sont généreux et bien présentés. En guise d'apéro des portions de pizzas sont servies. Le Frito Misto est excellent ! Petit indice intéressant, de nombreux locaux étaient présents, ce qui atteste que c'est une bonne adresse ou l'on mange bien et pas cher.

26/01/2024: Sono stato recentemente per pranzo e non per la prima volta e come sempre,mi sono trovato benissimo. La scelta dei vini è ottima, così come la posizione, appena fuori dal caotico centro alassino, a due passi dal mare. I piatti sono ben presentati,buoni e di ottima qualità e variano a seconda del mercato e della stagione. Servizio cordiale e professionale. Consigliatissimo.

27/02/2024: My last review of them was a little over a year ago. Early in the winter week, rain, wind, blowing sand, fairly cool temperatures all limit the options in Alassio at this time of year. We decided to return because it was close and got us out of the rain. Most of my concerns, raised in my last review, have not diminished. We had a decent pasta dish, a very good carciofi salad, a lackluster half bottle of wine and a forgettable dessert. The service situation hasn't improved; friendly but somewhat amateurish. This might be a very good choice for red meat lovers judging from the window into the meat freezer. There are quite a few restaurants in this mid price range in town, and many of them operate with more finesse. They were doing a good business with plenty of local trade. They won't miss us. But we aren't in a hurry to return.

15/02/2024: Pizza molto buona ma estremamente esagerato il sovrapprezzo per la pizza senza glutine di 6 euro extra. Il doppio rispetto ad altre pizzerie per un prodotto industriale, surgelato....

07/01/2024: Siamo arrivati in quattro amici cinquantenni per una cioccolata calda alle 17:00, locale pieno al piano terra, Dua tavoli liberi al piano superiore, nessuno ci ha accolti. Quando finalmente, dopo alcuni minuti ci è venuto incontro un cameriere ci ha detto che non c'erano posti disponibili. Questa è l'accoglienza che riserva ai turisti i un locale storico di Alassio. Peccato non torneremo più, per fortuna Alassio è piena di locali più accoglienti.

31/12/2023: Un po' deluso. La pizza è buona, il cornicione alto, ma avere un bagnetto ancora liquido di bufala e pomodoro non mi entusiasma. Appetitose e le cozze, il servizio adeguatamente rapido e cortese. Mettere in carta i bianchi liguri a 30 € -con variazioni minime- vuol dire che su certe bottiglie ricarichi il 200% almeno, e far pagare l'acqua "a km zero", ovvero "del sindaco", mi pare una caduta di stile, dovrebbe essere compresa nel coperto. O no?

09/12/2023: Sul menu scrivono: le acciughe fritte più buone di Alassio. Non è vero, sono le migliori di almeno tutta la Liguria. Ho mangiato sarde e acciughe impanate da Siracusa in su e devo dire che queste sono davvero ottime. Croccanti, fresche, gustose e per niente unte. Non solo quelle ovviamente. Anche il resto della proposta è stato soddisfacente, cucina saporita ma leggera e digeribile, fritto compreso. Ho letto recensioni sul fatto che i piatti sono cari e miseri. Non ho idea di quanto mangi la gente ma non mi sono alzato con la fame e, se pretendiamo che la materia prima sia fresca e di qualità, allora anche i prezzi saranno adeguati. Basta provare a fare la spesa e cercare qualche primizia per capirlo. Bravi e professionali in cucina. Sul servizio direi nella norma, in base alla mia esperienza.

30/04/2024: The place has an excellent seafront location, and is very clean. The Bar has a pleasant internal room on the ground floor, a room on the 1st floor with a huge window - it feels like being on a ship here, because you can only see the sea!!! -, and a wow outdoor area, "kissed" by the sun. The waitresses are kind and polite. Both sweet and savory products are served, of excellent quality; and if you want you can stop for lunch, enjoying good dishes. I suggest a stop in this place.
