20/11/2023: Without a doubt the best pizza in Varazze. We stayed with friends and a two year old daughter. The staff, although overwhelmed (we went on a Friday evening, it was full), served us impeccably. Wide choice and excellent quality for the pizzeria, we will return to try the cuisine

02/04/2024: Excellent ice cream but the staff are a little too cold due to working there. If you ask for cremino and bounti why do you put them backwards? Furthermore, the one underneath is softer and in fact risked falling. While he was putting together the cone I asked him to fulfill my request but he pretended nothing had happened and started talking to the customers in the back even though my son had yet to order. The writing in italics makes the tastes illegible to dyslexic people. After we ordered he pointed out to others that there were other flavors in addition to those displayed but not to us who were choosing. Probably like all tourists we annoy the Ligurians. €3 the cone is worth it all but I will hardly return

01/04/2024: Deludente, probabilmente c’è stato un cambio di gestione perché lo ricordavo migliore. Prezzi alti e qualità del cibo nella media. Ad esempio l’antipasto della casa da 15€ descritto come “salumi, formaggi, verdure ripiene e panissa” è invece composto da salame di quello delle buste del supermercato, 3 fette di speck, qualche pezzo di toma, 4 listarelle di panissa e delle verdure ripiene neanche l’ombra. Tempi di attesa lunghissimi perché c’è un evidente mancanza di personale (quello presente si da un gran daffare e cerca di sopperire ma oggettivamente la situazione è critica e deve anche fare servizio cassa e bar/tabacchi). Unica nota positiva l’area gioco per i bimbi, anche se risulta poco curata con giochi tutti rotti e pericolanti. Peccato, sono tornato dopo diverse belle esperienze in passato ma le cose sono cambiate…

31/03/2024: We returned 15 days after the first time as we had a great time. Yesterday, I understand there was all hell, but I have never felt so bad in a place. We waited about 15 minutes outside and the same amount inside (in the meantime it had started raining), not counting the time spent in front of the cash register waiting to be able to order, after the order at least another half hour before receiving the two spritzes required. Naturally, no plate of appetizers to accompany the aperitif, only 2 packets of peanuts (they had also run out of chips). The lady at the checkout was very rude when responding to customers.

19/03/2024: Nothing short of fantastic! The location is breathtaking, the food is delicious and the courses are very generous, excellent value for money and the staff were very kind and helpful. You absolutely must go there!

17/03/2024: Serata no . Conto salato non giustificato dalla qualità del prodotto . Scampi crudi con teste dall’odore molto pesante . Tartare di gambero di mazzara con filamenti sanguigni ( non puliti ) primo dal gusto un po’ insapore . Salmone fresco ma non cotto servito quasi crudo .

09/03/2024: Sono stato con la mia compagna venerdì sera, ho trovato un ambiente decisamente accogliente ed elegante, ottima carta vini, menù particolare e ricercato. Abbiamo preso il Plateau Royal e poi lo Chef ci ha preparato una pasta a dir poco fantastica. Il servizio in sala coordinato dalla moglie Enza è stato perfetto. Il conto in linea con la qualità del locale. Bravi!!!

The hotel staff stood out for their friendliness and helpfulness, making our stay particularly pleasant. I was particularly impressed by the quality of the food, which I found excellent, with a wide choice of tasty and well-presented dishes, capable of satisfying even the most demanding palates. I definitely appreciated the proximity to the sea, which makes Hotel Astigiana the ideal choice for those who want to enjoy the beach and the beautiful promenade of Varazze without having to travel too far. The rooms, then, deserve a special mention for their cleanliness and order, as well as for the comfortable and welcoming environments. I particularly appreciated the 'tea room', where our children stopped to play chess and cards, while we had the opportunity to relax in a comfortable and comfortable environment, enriched by relaxing background music. I highly recommend a stay at the Hotel Astigiana

17/03/2024: The fact that the owners are there makes you feel safe. I was there for 4 days with my severely autistic daughter, but I was fully available for every need. They were very accommodating and helpful.
