04/04/2024: We didn't expect to eat so well! Lake fish cooked very well: all dishes, even the land ones, were delicious. In particular the trofie with whitefish and artichokes, the taglioline rendezvous, the carbonfish and the second courses, but the mixed starters and desserts are no exception! The owner, very welcoming, was able to manage a table of hungry "walkers" together with the staff after a long day of trekking. Total with wine €35 each, more than honest! We will definitely be back!

06/04/2024: Small place in the splendid village of Acquapendente. We ate very well. TOP meat. Generous portions. Exquisite house wine. Super welcoming staff and a more than fair price for the quality it offers. We'll be back!

01/04/2024: It’s a fantastic place if u want to eat meat.they have their own butchery downstairs and upstairs is the restaurant. Start with the antipasto misto. Absolutely fabulous. Salumeria of highest quality - melting in the mouth. Already only for The carpaccio and the Tartare you will come back. The pasta with ragu is a winner and the meat main dishes are just as u imagine: the best pieces of the butchery below on your plate. Recommended and it’s worth a journey.

05/04/2024: The pizza here, served on two plates and rigorously made in a wood-fired oven, is very good and it is a must for the city to go and eat pizza in this place. What can I say, excellent! Just one piece of advice, renew your knives 😉

Exquisite food - including a vegetable and bean soup and a killer vegetarian lasagna - and above all, as the chef told us, commendable research into local raw materials, including very good white and red house wines. I booked for New Year's Eve on the advice of a friend who told me that he had had a great time the year before and that the food was excellent, but the reality is that it was a real nightmare, we paid 110 euros per person to eat an octopus cold and chewy roast, truly terrible, 4 very salty agnolotti (but at least they weren't cold) and a roast sea bream (I'm not saying a sampietro but a sea bream, for 110 euros, stuff that they throw at you at the Thursday market), at least we hoped for good name of the restaurant instead except for the first one which was saved and the dessert (that was good) the rest was really horrible, the children's menu was the icing on the cake, 55 euros for a piece of horrible lasagna, which we also tasted because that my son left it after the first bite and we then understood why, a fried chicken breast and a side of frozen mccain chef gourmet potatoes (I swear on everything I have that those were those, I'm not joking, look at the photo). at midnight, to end the dinner in style, we toast on the terrace with sparkling wine for €1.50, panettone from the discount store and lentils which one might think is "impossible to do lentils badly" and yet even those were merciless, overcooked and spoiled as if they were for an old woman without teeth, absurd, if this is the quality I wonder how they can speak well of it, truly HORRIBLE, NEVER AGAIN IN LIFE

An extra plate of bruschetta arrived, an extra second course, a wrong dessert and TWO times limoncello was brought (which wasn't even limoncello) instead of grappa. So to say that it was promptly replaced doesn't seem right to me. An owner who responds to a negative criticism from a customer by laughing in his face doesn't seem professional at all to me, on the contrary..... Maybe your philosophy is: who cares about negative customer comments, most of the reviews are positive. Sometimes in life you need to question yourself. Your answers, dear owner, are unprofessional and full of touchiness and even a hint of rudeness.

01/04/2024: Restaurant in the historic center of Tarquinia, a stone's throw from the cathedral and the museum. Nothing to say about the food, cooked well even if there were no exclamation point dishes. Ambience and service left something to be desired. Yesterday, therefore not in summer, a 9-seat table placed one meter in front of the entrance door, with all the smokers coming in and out continuously, without a shred of counterpart or air curtain, is one thing which denotes neglect towards some of the customers. Moving on to the service, beyond the wrong or extra courses (!) and the grappas exchanged for limoncello, no one was able to explain to us why someone (the locals?) could order the wine in bulk and someone else (the tourists?) had to force you to order the most expensive bottled wine. The price? 53 euros each. What to say? Cross above....

01/04/2024: We went on Sunday evening for Easter dinner, the service was not very appropriate, the waiters seemed to be in a hurry both to order (after less than a minute after they brought us the menus, they asked us if we had done so), and to remove the dishes from the table even if there was still something on the plate, the kebabs arrived cold at the table, not even time to heat up the "old" ones which seemed to be leftovers from lunch, the waitress who opened the wine for us, he didn't even know how to pour it properly, letting it drip onto the table. I usually leave a €10 tip but this time nothing, you have to tell your employees to make customers feel at ease that in a hostaria they do slow food and don't rush people.
