02/04/2024: Amazing meals. Dined here on our first night in Alba in 2022. Our group of Australian tourists absolutely loved the place, the food, the wines, the service. Highly recommend.

28/11/2023: Il locale si presta per l’arredamento più ad una pizzeria che ad un ristorante (si vede anche dalle tovagliette in carta). Oltre che per i modi e gli atteggiamenti dei camerieri e del proprietario, molto alla buona. Il cibo era buono, ma sconsiglio di prendere i fuori menù col tartufo. I piatti con questo compreso sono cari. Se si pensa che non viene fornito ne per iscritto, ne a voce un peso per la cifra che si va a spendere. Grattato ad occhio dal proprietario senza pesarlo, a suo gusto. Per me un quantitativo misero, soprattutto mettendolo a confronto con altri ristoranti alla pari della zona. Per concludere la cena abbiamo ordinato un semplice gelato al fior di latte. Dopo ben 17 minuti di orologio ad aspettarlo, abbiamo detto al cameriere di non volerlo più. Ce ne siamo andati col senso di essere stati FREGATI!

10/03/2024: Sono stata a cena con mio marito perché avevo letto tutte recensioni positive eppure mi rendo conto che si sono approfittati di noi, avevo fatto all’incirca due conti a mente e avremo speso sui 80€, abbiamo preso 3 antipasti, due primi e un secondo.. tutto davvero ottimo. Al momento del conto nel dettaglio dello scontrino trovo: 2 menu.. con un conto di 97€. Questa cosa per me è stata spiacevole. Bisogna sempre scrivere ciò che si prende, se non è così, bisogna dirlo al cliente.

03/04/2024: Very friendly and very professional team who take their time to advise and share. We feel the love of the profession. Fine and delicious dishes accompanied by good wines (we recommend the tasting menu) and all this at very reasonable prices. Well done and thank you!

04/04/2024: I had lunch following reviews but I was a little disappointed in the rustic setting the menu was hand written on greasy paper the staff were friendly The starter was good but poor the tajarin was poorly seasoned Castelmagno gnocchi the flavor was good but the gnocchi were overcooked the braised meat was a little fibrous the wine was excellent and the bitter sin of not having received the receipt, I will not return

05/01/2024: Excellente adresse ! Nous voulions goûter à la truffe blanche et nous n'avons pas été déçu. Les plats étaient excellents et tous largement agrémentés de ces fameuses truffes. Le personnel très gentil également.

29/01/2024: Ristorante molto carino, personale di sala preparato, mai invadente. Cucina di livello. Menù interessante, tradizione ma non solo. Materie prima di alto livello. Bella la carta dei vini.

15/01/2024: Non fatevi spaventare dalla stella Michelin perchè seppur stellato ha un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Un calice di Dolcetto a 3,50 Euro è assolutamente un costo ragionevole (in qualsiasi altro ristorante meno "pregiato" è solitamente a 5 euro). Anche le porzioni sono adeguate e ovviamente di ottima qualità. Non mi ha fatto impazzire il vitello tonnato che mi sarei aspettata più saporito ma l'insalata russa davvero favolosa ! Locale arredato da vera osteria con i tavoli e le sedie di legno come una volta. Bellissima cantina vini ! Personale non empatico ma professionale. Centrale la location, sotto al portico della piazza ora intitolata a Michele Ferrero.

16/03/2024: Inizio con il dire che la location è molto bella, in piazza principale ad Alba. Fanno due turni, noi avevamo prenotato il secondo ma ci hanno comunque fatto attendere un po' di tempo. Il menù è tipico piemontese con qualche accenno di innovazione, i plin molto buoni (ma in Piemonte chi è che sbaglia i plin?) ma per il resto non ci siamo.. abbiamo preso un secondo CBT, e nonostante l'attesa di mezz'ora il risultato è stato mediocre. Nota dolcente il servizio, la cameriera non ci ha spiegato nulla, molto scocciata e sbrigativa, e nonostante avessimo preso una bottiglia importante il sommelier o presunto tale non si è neanche disturbato di aprirla a tavola ma la ha portata già aperta. Non ci siamo.

03/04/2024: Very good dishes, helpful and kind staff, wide choice of wines. Prices a little high, but due to the good quality of the products. Personally I tried the meat tartare with black truffle cream, the Castelmagno gnocchi and the bonet.

30/03/2024: The food was very tasty. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating :) You sometimes wait a little but the food and the friendly staff are outstanding! Definitely worth it!

29/03/2024: I don't want to exaggerate with the reviews also because the owners are elderly and are passionate about it... but if you want to eat well (cooking, pizza I haven't tried) don't come to this restaurant, if you want cleanliness don't come to this restaurant, if you want honest prices don't come to this restaurant. In summary, tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, poor buitoni tagliatelle, porcini mushrooms but not fresh. Grilled steak? Poor quality steak with chef's hair included. Braised in Barolo? Nervous braised meat, only 1 slice, including the chef's hair, the only discreet note is the discreet sauce (not excellent). In summary, never again, the pizza is probably worth it (to see it), but I advise the owners to leave the kitchen alone
