03/04/2024: Great food and my all time favourite dessert semifreddo! Further from the village, surrounded by nature.

27/03/2024: The Casale Drinzi, located in the middle of the beautiful Madonie, near the pretty mountain village of Collesano. A large, beautiful area with a vegetable garden, chickens and play areas for children. We became aware of Casale Drinzi through our slow food guide 'Osterie d'Italia', which has not disappointed us for 20 years and describes the wonderful, seasonal, regional organic cuisine of Italy everywhere in Italy. This is also the case at Casale Drinzi and we have eaten here several times and always had the degustazione menu and it was always different and always fantastic. Please do not eat anything for at least 12 hours beforehand. Eight wonderful antipasti - vegetables, cheese, mushrooms, sausage, sometimes snails - always different but always delicious. At least 2 wonderful primi, then 2 or 3 secondi, wonderful dolce, coffee and limoncello, amaro and chocolate liqueur. Afterwards you want to ask where the bed is. I don't want to talk about the price/performance ratio here, it's just incredibly good. The service and the people are incredibly friendly, generous and warm, even under stress. The guest room is very, very nice, open, large, and at the same time very comfortable. The tables are beautiful and even set with cloth napkins. A place to really feel good. Casale Drinzi describes its cuisine as simple. I would like to add delicious, with aromas, herbs and spices very finely balanced. The chefs can do it easily. It should also be mentioned that Casale Drinzi is often full on weekends and if you don't have a reservation, there is a small dependency 100 m away. You can also enjoy the kitchen on a beautiful terrace. We will use the small B&B at Casale Drinzi in spring or autumn. Then we can earn the great food by going on a hike and after the meal there will be a bed.

06/04/2024: Very authentic trattoria where mainly locals eat. Located next to the theater, this trattoria is no tourist trap. Actually I’ve seen many tourists leave the place because it’s very busy and a bit difficult to understand how to get food 🙈 I highly recommend to eat there, it’s one of the best places we’ve eaten in Palermo. It’s better to know what you’re having when you approach a cashier. You pay and get a piece of paper with the value of your order. Give this paper to a person behind the food parlor, tell what you want, and they will give you the number of your order. When the food is ready, you can take it with this number (they also bring it to your table if you’re seated). It’s a bit hectic and always busy, but it’s totally worth it. Perfect quality/quantity/price ratio.

10/03/2024: Locale rustico ma accogliente, personale gentile. Cucina non all'altezza dei prezzi ( euro 45 a coperto senza frutta e dessert e con vino non imbottigliato). Spaghetti cacio, pepe e funghi salati, carne del maialino dura e poco cotta. A questi prezzi mi sarei aspettato molto di piu'. Andrebbe cambiato lo chef. Non consigliato. Mi spiace

04/04/2024: Excellent pizzas, we took the vegetarian one and the old one, truly 2 exquisite pizzas with a fresh, genuine flavor (not covered, as often happens in other places, by the flavor of dubious and artificial preparation). Cloud dough, very light, friendly staff, very nice location both internally and externally, excellent prices. To return

06/04/2024: Very good, polite service. The best pizza I have ever eaten at the age of 52. The only thing I have to complain about is the entrance, which is very drafty. Everything else leaves nothing to be desired. Price performance...top. Ps. Better book a spot in advance.

23/03/2024: The food was fresh, we took a platter of cold cuts and cheeses with ricotta, as a first course macaroni alla pastorella with sausage, ricotta, wild fennel, really excellent. For the second course mixed grill a little too dry but the meat was fresh. Overall, an acceptable and advisable lunch, the price wasn't bad either
