08/03/2024: Il locale è molto suggestivo, la locazione ha dei dettagli che fanno la differenza (es: fiori e lampada sul tavolo). I gestori molto socievoli e attenti. Ci hanno accolto attivamente e calorosamente appena siamo entrati dalla porta. Ci siamo fatti anche 4 chiacchiere con loro tra una portata e l'altra e a fine cena. Il cibo buonissimo e impiattamento curato. Anche i dolci molto buoni, fornitori di qualità.

03/04/2024: The place is a little dark, a familiar and homely atmosphere. I was hoping for more choice of fresh fish. The fried calamari was good, the sea bass was so-so (a little greasy with soggy vegetables... I don't eat them, let me know in advance!), savored sardines which my relatives liked a lot, prawn lasagne which was very poor and disappointing because it was all vegetables and the prawns were missing. The meringue, on the other hand, is very good and the coffee is ok. Friendly service, few people, waited the right amount.

22/03/2024: Fixed stop every time I come to Marano lagoon. Excellent cuttlefish with polenta, and delicious fried calamari!!! The whole menu is also worth trying!!

16/02/2024: Everything is guaranteed by the goodness of the dishes, all excellent, fresh and special, and by the friendliness of the staff and the manager, I also admit the friendliness of some customers who frequent the location! I recommend the place for a good lunch, a good dinner, and excellent company!

27/12/2023: Al Convento was an incredible surprise ! The restaurant is part of the original 15th century convent in the center of Palmanova. Hospitality and service were excellent. We had appetizers of grilled octopus and a salad which consisted of the local red lettuce called “Rosa da Gorizia”. We sipped on local Friuli Cabernet. My husband had the lamb entree with roast potatoes, herbs ,grapes ………Exceptional quality and flavor . My entree was Fettuccine with Sicilian “violetti” Artichokes and ground lamb. I can’t say enough about this delicious food. I wish I could give it a 10!

10/12/2023: The food was really good, you have to say the prices are high but the quality was amazing. If a fish costs over €30 then it can quickly add up. That didn't make me poor, but I was very satisfied and I can recommend this restaurant. This restaurant is somewhat upscale, but you have to pay a lot for it. 22/09/2023: I don't understand how they judge the place by giving positive reviews. This is totally wrong!! Terrible food, greasy cutlery, overly exaggerated price. And I'll stop here.

17/03/2024: We came to Udine and looking around the web for where to eat we chose this place. Excellent experience. A slightly retro atmosphere that hides the surprise of excellent cuisine: saor made to perfection. Paccheri with sea gurnard are definitely good. Textbook duck ragout. As dessert we chose the pastiera: it felt like being in Naples. Generous portions and quality raw materials. Calm and kind service. Competitive prices. More than positive experience, we will definitely be back. I don't do reviews but the place is worth it. I highly recommend

08/01/2024: L'osteria cantina da Mario è uno di quei posti dove si mangia bene e si sta bene, la qualità della cucina è molto buona, la materia prima è di un ottima qualità, per gli amanti del vino vi è una buona scelta sia per i vini del territorio friulano che anche fuori regione. Il servizio è veramente informale ed amichevole senza mancare di qualità e serietà. bisogna provare!

27/01/2024: I tried the excellent Bella Venezia restaurant and not the hotel, impeccable service. Nando pampered us and advised us in an elegant and refined way together with Mrs. Paola. Excellent lunch.

14/04/2024: The hotel is not central and could do with a lot of updating. The corridors with carpets are too 80s. Luckily there are none in the rooms but the doors show signs of age and the shower is not properly insulated and I had to be very careful not to enlarge the bathroom. The bathroom fixtures and the bed, however, seem much newer. The walls must be thin because throughout my stay I enjoyed the snoring from the room next door. The first morning there was no hot water so I took a cold shower. Breakfast is the usual one for a 3 star hotel and does not have a savory part. Furthermore there is no access to the bar and therefore coffee and cappuccino are produced by an automatic machine. The mini bar is empty and to get some water there is a vending machine on the ground floor. Furthermore, there is no night concierge and you enter through a secondary door using a personalized code that is provided at check-in. The staff is always helpful and kind Those who frequent the area tell me that the other facilities are even worse and therefore those who are satisfied enjoy it.

17/03/2024: Posto sconsigliatissimo!!! Passato oggi 17 Marzo per il pranzo. Atteso 1 ora e 15 minuti per una pasta banale con il pesto e i gamberi per la morosa, atteso 1 ora e mezza per una pizza mia che non è mai arrivata! Cameriere scortese che si accorge della mancanza, mi chiede cosa aspettavo e si altera avendo risposto “una pizza” quando mi aveva posto la domanda lui. Ho aspettato mangiasse la mia ragazza, poi mi sono alzato e me ne sono andato via. Tutti intorno avevano da mangiare ed erano arrivati almeno 15/20 minuti dopo di noi. Chiedeva un minuto di spiegazione, ne avevo regalati già 90 senza ottenere nulla, quindi mi sono rifiutato. Vergognosi a dire poco!!

17/03/2024: Aspettato un'ora e mezza e visto che avremo dovuto aspettare ancora ce ne siamo andati perché la nostra bimba di 2 anni si era spazientita. Avviso quindi educatamente il cameriere che saremo andati e invece di dirci che magari chiedeva in cucina informazioni mi ha risposto in malo modo: avete pagato?? Ovvio che avrei pagato il bere

26/09/2023: This marks our fourth year dining at this restaurant, and each time, we eagerly anticipate our visit. The location, undoubtedly, is a major draw. On one memorable evening, we opted for a more casual experience, indulging in snacks and drinks on the terrace. It was simply perfect—delicious fare, fantastic pricing, and impeccable service. Regrettably, on another occasion, when we chose to dine in the restaurant area, our experience was less than stellar. Despite an ample number of staff on the floor, it seemed to take an inordinate amount of time to capture anyone's attention. Furthermore, there were instances where our orders were inadvertently overlooked. While the food quality remained excellent, we couldn't help but notice a decrease in portion sizes. Perhaps we were just unfortunate and happened to visit on an off night. Nonetheless, we remain hopeful that our next visit will recapture the exceptional experience we've come to associate with this establishment.

18/03/2024: Siamo tornati a pranzo in questo locale per assaggiare le pizze di cui altri amici ci avevano parlato molto bene. Le nostre aspettative sono state soddisfatte ! Ottima qualità dei prodotti, simpatia dei proprietari e giusto il prezzo pagato. Ci torneremo sicuramente.

12/03/2024: Ottimo ristorante pizzeria a Lignano sabbiadoro Personale preparato e competente oltre che gentile e simpatico Molto buono il ristorante con prodotti freschi e di qualità e buonissime le pizze Vario il menù con ampia scelta di primi piatti anche fatti in casa,carne e pesce Fuori menu non manca il pescato del giorno Sicuramente una tappa da fare assolutamente a Lignano Aperto già da fine marzo a fine stagione inoltrata Sala interna ed ampio spazio esterno Consigliati dall’ottimo cameriere abbiamo optato per gli scialatielli fatti in casa con granchio e pomodorini..la pasta ottima e il sughetto da leccarsi le dita dopo aver “lottato” con le chele del granchio 😅
