24/12/2023: Make a reservation here, because there are only 8 tables! And don't be fooled by the outside. Because once inside, you will be greeted by the sweetest and friendliest people in this restaurant. They serve certified meat from the Tuscan Chianina breed (Florence region). The fantastic T-bone (Bistecca) is also available in other and cheaper varieties. Order 1 large one of 1kg for 2 people and, after your inspection, it will be prepared on the BBQ in the middle of the restaurant. Fantastic! Please note, the price is a bit higher. But totally worth it. Because this is the best steak I have eaten in Tuscany!!! Tip: You can park directly next to the building, at the back.

03/10/2023: As a starter we had three types of tartare which were really very good. For the main course we had the steak with truffle honey. I ordered mine medium and it arrived quite bloody and very cold. Unfortunately it's a shame for €40. Tasted good, it was something new. For dessert I had a tangerine sorbet which was incredibly tasty and refreshing! The waiting time is very long. On average we waited 30-45 minutes. The service was very friendly and speaks good English.

09/03/2024: PRO: Resort immersed in a well-kept pine forest (with other types of plants), where you sometimes come across some squirrels. Silent. Each room/villa is a stone's throw from the beach, which can be accessed directly via several small paths. Deckchairs and umbrellas at a good distance from each other. CONS: Small rooms, which would need to redo part of the wardrobes and bathrooms. It would be good if the food area were divided again between the new building in the pine forest and the "old" room: ok for lunch, but I preferred dinner and breakfast in the restaurant room (and veranda), where they were before. In the afternoon at least one place in the square should remain open. The staff in the dining room were friendly, but, apart from a few, poorly trained. I come back every few years, because it's my favorite place, but the last time made me miss the "old" Riva a little. There is a sort of carelessness and sloppiness, here. I hope they bring it back to being (even in its "soul") the resort that has always distinguished it.

17/01/2024: in general the Etruscan Riviera is always a very beautiful area to visit on various occasions and to spend several days of holiday on this sea coast there are a bit of everything of all kinds of tourist attractions and also much more in this whole stretch of beach . and in the vicinity the nature is very varied you can find the hills the sea and the Tuscan region is also rich in beautiful mountains and lots of natural nature and the people who frequent these places respect the best to keep these wonderful places always respectable with the adequate landscape knowledge. and with the blue of the sky that combines and reflects on the water, a blue water is formed that combines a heavenly blue and is a wonderful holiday.

The less star in the food rating is due to the fact that I personally hate having salmon in a seafood starter: what does it have to do with the Mediterranean? But that's my personal opinion. I was with my wife and two grandchildren who were treated with attention and kindness. Cost limited to 20 euros each.

28/08/2023: Siamo stati sulla spiaggia di Rimigliano, scegliendo un punto dove ci fosse un "ristoro" poiché era la prima volta Ecco... definire Lago Verde un ristoro è sicuramente riduttivo: ampia offerta di tavoli sotto la pineta, ambiente stile "Giamaica", ampia scelta di piatti, dai primi alle insalatone ai panini. Abbiamo mangiato il panino di pane nero con il polpo, burrata e pomodorini confit, prezzo onesto, bontà infinita; servizio ottimo, anzi, quando abbiamo scelto infinite bottigliette di acqua, il cassiere stesso ci ha consigliato di risparmiare prendendo le bottiglie più grandi... dettaglio che fa la differenza.

19/03/2024: I, my partner and Massimo spent a wonderful weekend in this farmhouse, the staff is super welcoming and the breakfast was plentiful and excellent. Taking a few steps in the olive grove adjacent to the structure you can relax on a giant bench with a beautiful sea view. The room was fabulous and very warm despite the season. Massimo was treated like a king and he really misses the sea of ​​San Vincenzo and was very surprised when he saw the hydromassage tub in the room!!! We hope to return soon! Thank you!

Family welcome, extreme availability, we felt pampered from start to finish. Spacious rooms tastefully furnished and spotlessly clean. Mrs. Beatrice is a beautiful person and knows how to make you feel at home. Highly recommended!!!
