04/04/2024: I chose this little corner of paradise on the Gulf of Poets for my wedding vows. Let me start by saying that the staff and owners are all kinder than the other. They made my future bride feel like a princess, upon our arrival (in the evening) the fully set up garden was waiting for us to take photos of us and drink a glass of good champagne together. Then we moved to the completely empty room with petal candles all to ourselves and our photographer in a corner. Crazy room setup all prepared especially for us, what else can I say, everything perfect, all as per my request and a truly honest price for all the requests I made including choice of menu (really excellent quality food), bouquet of roses, choice of wine . A truly heartfelt thank you to Alessandro Massimo and all the staff. Now I'll let the photos speak for me.

02/04/2024: We went to eat at Easter in this very small restaurant (the outdoor garden was not usable due to the climate) but we left really disappointed because in addition to the price it is really too high for what is offered. The quality of the dishes was absolutely not satisfactory as they were bland and tasteless. You can't charge €30 for a seafood starter with a few tasters! I'm sorry because we were hopeful of being able to enjoy a quality lunch, and instead we spent €109.00 for two people for two starters, a first course and a second course, no wine, no dessert!!! On a positive note, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

01/04/2024: Excellent pizza (and not just pizza!), efficient service, in the summer I very often order and have it delivered to the beach, never had a problem. Luigi and his beautiful family are a guarantee. Highly recommended!

30/10/2023: E' molto probabile che la scelta di piatti a pagamento che accompagnano l'aperitivo sono ben preparati perchè altrimenti non si spiegano tanti commenti positivi. L'accompagnamento degli stuzzichini che sono compresi nell'aperitivo lasciano alquanto a desiderare: piccoli tranci di pizza e focaccia freddi. Troppi commenti enfatizzati che stimolano la visita che non viene ripagata dalla qualità. Si può fare molto ma molto di più.

I had smoked duck breast with mustard and butter and a Chianina fillet with baked potatoes, my wife a flan of red prawns and peppers and octopus with seasonal fruit and vegetables. All excellent on the palate and beautifully choreographed. Chefs number 1. Impeccable service. If you come to La Spezia, book and don't miss out on a priceless and unforgettable dinner. Thanks to everyone we will definitely be back.

30/03/2024: Excellent chickpea farinata with onion, it's a shame that the stuffing is only served in double portions. I would have liked to try another type, but I adapted to my wife's choice. Friendly and helpful staff.

02/04/2024: This pesto is delicious!!! Very tasty. I regret not buying more. The saleswomen were very nice and accommodating, I felt comfortable there and the pesto tasted even tastier because of it. Even though I don't understand much Italian, the saleswoman was still able to explain everything to me. I got extra packaging to keep jars of pesto cool on the go. Foccaccio with pesto was also very tasty. Yes, there was snake, but that's why it's Pesto Bene. I wish you only continued success and joy!

11/03/2024: 29 febbraio, anniversario di matrimonio. Decidiamo di festeggiare a pranzo, anziché la consueta cena (alla mia età il pranzo crea meno problemi di digestione...). Un amico, considerato il desiderio di mia moglie di assaporare del buon tartufo, ci consiglia di non affrontare un più lungo tragitto fino al Piemonte perché a Serra Riccò c'è un ristorante sotto questo aspetto non teme concorrenza. Accettiamo il consiglio e ci accoglie un locale molto semplice ma altrettanto gradevole, con molti camionisti (il che è un buon segno). Ci avvertono che il "tovagliato" è presente solo a cena, ma il dettaglio non ci preoccupa, mica si mangiano le tovaglie... Menu alla carta, mia moglie si "fionda" su una tartare di fassona al tartufo nero e taglierini al tartufo bianco e tartufo nero con crema di Castelmagno. Io opto per tartare di fassona con cipolle caramellate e tortelli al pesto bianco, la specialità del locale: gli ingredienti del pesto vengono "scompattati", con il basilico nel ripieno dei tortelli, conditi con crema di parmigiano e pinoli tostati. Potevamo farci sfuggire il dolce? Certo che no! Mille sfoglie impazzita e cheesecake. Un pranzo delizioso, piatti tutti assolutamente straordinari ed un plauso al personale, attento e presente senza essere invadente, con il pregio aggiuntivo di un prezioso consiglio sul vino: un ottimo Albarossa (incrocio di barbera e nebbiolo) assolutamente perfetto per accompagnare queste leccornie. Tutto talmente perfetto da farmi venire il dubbio che, probabilmente, avrei ben digerito anche la sera... Un motivo in più per tornarci, a cena... giusto per togliere ogni dubbio anche su quel "probabilmente"...

07/04/2024: When we decide on pizza, we always go to La Spiga d'Oro, the best ever. I wanted to try the pizzata and was more than satisfied: huge and very rich, with lots of cheese and seasoning on top. Sympathy and courtesy are not lacking inside of the place. really top!!

07/11/2023: Having arrived from Milan for a lunch out of town, despite the adversities of the journey it was a lunch of merit. Very friendly people, clean and tidy location, with panoramic views. Excellent typical dishes, fresh and homemade. Adequate price. I will gladly return.

30/03/2024: Got an excellent and delicious coffee at the counter this historic bar located in the center of Genoa in Via San Vincenzo without tables. This bar is known for the wide selection of its sandwiches. Really amiable staff, welcoming, competent, friendly, fast service and really good prices!!
