01/01/2024: Prima volta che andavo e sono rimasto davvero colpito dall’agriturismo CALAMATE. L’atmosfera è accogliente e il personale è estremamente cordiale e disponibili. Ma il punto di forza del locale è senz’altro la cucina, in questo locale avrete la possibilità di gustare prodotti tipici della tradizione con degli ingredienti a Km0.

04/11/2023: Nice, friendly service - but this lady is also responsible for preparing the food. Completely understandable in times of staff shortages (or due to economic requirements), but it often backfires. A family had ordered before us, the preparation of the food was ongoing and there was no service at the counter during that time. This leads to a bit of frustration because of the waiting time. Food-wise everything was okay, there was nothing to complain about. A disadvantage is of course the lack of a toilet.

03/04/2024: Their pistachio pasta was simply divine, the best I have ever tasted! The service was impeccable, with an attentive and professional team. We accompanied our meal with an excellent Chardonnay, perfectly recommended by the staff. Additionally, the beautiful and intimate setting of the garden added a special touch to our dining experience. All in all, a memorable evening.

31/03/2024: Beautiful location in the historic center of Lecce. Nice and clean environment, friendly and friendly staff. I shared Easter lunch with my family. The quality and goodness of the food depend on the dish you choose. For example, I personally took a starter (veal with tuna sauce our way) which frankly I would have gladly avoided while the second course (turcinieddhri with monkfish, although they didn't have anything that could recall turcinieddhri) was really excellent. Rough service and I'm sorry to say it's unprofessional. A note of merit must be recognized for the honesty in prices and also in admitting and reviewing errors made in the service.

18/03/2024: La cameriera al quanto addormentata, si reca al mio tavolo con il mio ordine e si presenta con una tazzina del ginseng sporchissima, il sottoscritto (io) richiamando la cameriera addormentata e gli riferisco il quanto con molta gentilezza. Al ritorno mi accorgo che la tazzina eventualmente era stata solo ripulita di sopra con lo straccio dei tavolo e anche male perchè alcune macchie che prima c’erano erano ancora lì. Al che arriva anche il caffè in ghiaccio della mia compagna e ci accorgiamo che sul posa tazzina era presente un pelo, al che io richiamando nuovamente la cameriera gli faccio presente tutto ciò e lei come se niente fosse mi disse, “ma cos’ha questo ginseng”, e mi ha fatto pagare tutto senza far presente i problemi al proprietario per nascondere il tutto a suo favore ovviamente… CHE SCHIFO

18/03/2024: The waitress, apparently asleep, goes to my table with my order and shows up with a very dirty cup of ginseng, the undersigned (me) calling the sleeping waitress back and I tell him the matter very kindly. Upon returning I realized that the cup had possibly only been cleaned on top with the table cloth and even badly because some stains that had previously been there were still there. At which point my partner's iced coffee also arrived and we noticed that there was a hair on the cup holder, whereupon I called the waitress again and pointed out all this to her and as if nothing had happened she said to me, "but what's wrong with this ginseng”, and made me pay for everything without reporting the problems to the owner to hide everything in his favor obviously… HOW DISGUSTING

31/03/2024: We were on holiday in Lecce and ate in this restaurant two out of three evenings. The food and taste of the dishes is nothing short of excellent. Both the owner and the staff were very welcoming, explaining the menu and recommending traditional dishes. I recommend everyone, both those on holiday and locals, to try this restaurant. Thank you and we will miss you!

29/09/2023: At the pizza kiosk you can enjoy a fantastic, light, digestible pizza and the various flavors make everything attractive and appetising. I highly recommend giving it a try.

20/02/2024: The chef has changed, with a change in the menu. I was going for the cuttlefish ink tagliolini which unfortunately they eliminated!! However, I find it negative that a restaurant does not have bottles of mineral water available, but only has microfiltered water. Therefore I find that the quality is progressively reversing with the increase in prices. Sin!!!

07/01/2024: Leaves a bit of a bad taste in the mouth. Beautiful, historic location, but the service has worsened compared to last time. The food should be reviewed: the starters are disappointing and expensive; the first one (tagliolini with seafood) was very good, well seasoned and cooked correctly; terrible dessert (a lemon sorbet that tasted like powdered citric acid). Maybe I wasn't very lucky.

29/03/2024: Portici Doc is the largest coffee shop in the area. They always have great pastacini and the best gelato in town! It's open late often until 9:30 p.m. it's also open early, around 6:00 a.m. The husband and wife team that runs the place are great people.

La gentilezza, l'accoglienza,il menù favoloso,gli cocktail creati al momento.panini spaziale, cucina da favola (stuzzichini,schiacciatini(sia di carne, sia vegetali) apericena, dolcetti creati da "mamma Gisella"........ ogni volta che mi dimentico che sapore ha la felicità Io vado ad Ambrosia... perché li mi sento veramente felice...e menomale che ho voluto fare la recensione corta 😂
