20/01/2024: I piatti sono stati buoni, ma i prezzi veramente eccessivi. Capisco che siamo a Cortina ma si tratta sempre di un Rifugio frequentato anche da gente che guadagna lavorando.
Molto brutto poi che la cortese cameriera descriva i piatti del giorno senza menzionare i costi da ristorante stellato. Per correttezza basterebbe stampare una pagina con i piatti del giorno e lasciarla insieme al menu, poi descritti anche dalla cameriera.
Un antipastino da 22€ e un primo da 30€ i cui costi vengono scoperti al conto è veramente molto molto brutto.

16/12/2023: Prodotti di ottima qualità, prosciutto 24 mesi tagliato al coltello da prendere assolutamente!! Personale gentilissimo e veramente disponibile! Location molto ben curata con ottima musica, consiglio vivamente un aperitivo da questi ragazzi.

13/01/2024: Sono stato con la mia ragazza a cena il 14 dicembre in questo locale. Era un giovedì sera e poiché c’erano pochissime persone ci hanno dato la disponibilità di accomodarci allo spettacolare tavolo attorno al camino. Il menù non è un classico che trovi in qualsiasi ristorante a cortina, ma ci sono piatti particolari come animella di vitello, trota, lumache, anguilla. Servizio impeccabile e ciò che abbiamo preso noi tutto buono. Il dolce invece niente di che. Consigliato.

13/01/2024: La gestione della famiglia Melon non c’è più, ed il locale ora è gratuito dalla società del Twiga. Locale spettacolare come sempre, atmosfera fantastica, cibo spettacolare. Siamo stati talmente bene che siamo tornati anche il giorno dopo. Il miglior ristorante di Cortina, da sempre per sempre! ❤️

05/04/2024: Discourtesy, rudeness and filth. We sit on two stools and a small table, after having purchased a beer and a bottle of water (not to eat since last time we found hair inside our sandwiches, and last month the first one with meat sauce was sour to say the least, so much so that I sent it back). We had our backpack open on the table from which we could clearly see the paper bags of our FINISHED sandwiches (which we had consumed elsewhere). A "lady" arrives and, in a rude manner to say the least, tells us that we could not stay at the table since we had not purchased anything there. I point out to her that we had purchased what we were consuming there (water and beer) and she continues repeating the same senseless phrase. Among other things, the terrace was frequented almost exclusively by people sunbathing without consuming anything. We have been stopping here for convenience every year for 10 years, they have never shone for the cleanliness and goodness of the dishes, but after this I will never stop again! Instead, I recommend the RIFUGIO TONDI, reachable by the "Vitelli" chairlift, where you will find excellent dishes and very friendly staff.

26/03/2024: Very disappointed that they do not offer gluten free options. We were seated at a table which was separated by a glass divider. Therefore I was sitting opposite a complete stranger. Really weird. My salad was fresh but the olives were not nice and the feta cheese was not top notch. My husband's meal was very badly plated. Although he said it tasted ok, it did not look very appetizing.
26/03/2024: There is only what is on the menu! Small adjustments are not possible. A pity. It would be so easy to make small menu changes for the guest. And in a place where a lot of tourists come.

02/01/2024: Siamo un gruppo di amici molto grande e abbiamo passato il capodanno in questa baita in maniera squisita! I piatti serviti sono stati tutti buonissimi e presentati in maniera creativa. Ivano con la moglie, la figlia e il loro staff ci hanno coccolati e soddisfatti in ogni nostra richiesta in maniera molto professionale: ORGANIZZAZIONE, FOOD E BEVERAGE PERFETTI!
14/11/2023: Quando mi trovo a Cortina non posso saltare la cena alla Locanda.La famiglia che gestisce ti fa sentire come a casa , sempre gentilissimi ,cibo ottimo e location molto coccola.Consigliata la fonduta e la tartare di cervo.Top

Spaghetti alla bottarga squisiti, ottimo astice alla catalana.
La particolarità è che fanno trovare una loro selezione di antipasti appena ci si siede a tavola (ovviamente non sono offerti) che vanno dai crostini burro e alici alle melanzane grigliate passando per un’insalatina all’avocado.
Prezzi elevati in linea con la proposta culinaria. Ci tornerò.
