28/02/2024: The historic Enoteca di Cortina is one of the must-haves if you spend a few days in the Pearl of the Dolomites. Exceptional wines and very friendly as well as highly experienced staff. The best!

26/02/2024: Finally a proper Sushi (and not only)!!! Nice place with attentive and friendly service, normal prices, highly recommended!

19/02/2024: Duck breast, wagu uramaki special, dessert yuzu and berries . We had the Yuna Shishi and wagu as well. My son order the wagu Ramen. Everything was hands down delicious!!! Absolutely one of the best dinners I’ve had here in Cortina! Very high quality. Extremely nice staff. If you want to switch it up, this place is for you!

16/03/2024: I ate an appetizer with speck and cheese followed by a second course of polenta and venison stew. To finish I had a very good dessert, the "Sgroppino", all really excellent!

23/02/2024: Thank you for a lovely week. The hotel is in a beautiful location by the lake, with a wonderful view. The hotel staff is very nice, accommodating and helpful. The rooms are smaller, but cozy, sufficiently equipped, clean. We enjoyed the food, be sure to have the lasagna, ice cream and warm croissants in the morning. A place made for people who love mountains.

06/03/2024: This place can't quite decide if it is a luxury boutique hotel or an upmarket restaurant. The rooms we had were superb with wonderful views of forest and mountain from the French windows which opened onto secluded terraces. The bathrooms were tasteful with extra privacy for the toilet. Excellent shower and steam equipment. Linen changed every day which was a nice touch. There is a good ski room available to guests. On a more critical note, the rooms were exceedingly hot and I was unable to turn the thermostat down below 25C. Even then it kept resetting to 28C! The restaurant is very popular for lunch and dinner which means there is no space for a guest lounge. Après-ski or pre-dinner drinks are a little uncomfortable as a result. This may be less of an issue in summer when some covers can be arranged on the large terrace. Evening meals are excellent and great choice of wine too. Spa facilities are superb with a really great heated outdoor pool which we enjoyed most nights even when snowing! Despite the ski room, this hotel is not best suited to those wanting to get on the slopes early. Breakfast must be ordered by 6pm the night before, the choice is not huge but the quality is good. However this arrangement encourages over ordering and wasted food. Breakfast service itself is not available until 8am. Ski lift access is really only easy if you are driving or prepared to take taxis each morning. Buses are possible and there is a stop just outside the hotel but services are not that regular, particularly when it is snowing. We did discover it is possible to access one piste directly from the number 5 bus by getting off at Cadelverzo Nuova and walking around the corner. Then ski down to the Tofana lift. Alternatively get off at Ronco-bivio Cadelverzo (apparently in the middle of nowhere) cross over the road and wait for a number 3 bus to take you to Socrepes lift. Overall we had a fantastic stay here despite a few niggles. The concierge was extremely helpful whenever we had requests. The rooms we had were wonderful and the evening meals were delicious.

16/02/2024: L’ospitalità Ampezzana non è sicuramente qui, direi più la vergogna di Cortina. Io e mio marito abbiamo casa a Cortina e la frequentiamo assiduamente, un atteggiamento schifoso di questo tipo non lo abbiamo mai visto da nessuna parte. Siamo venuti a pranzo con il nostro golden, un cane tranquillo che è stato giù tutto il pranzo. Tutto bene fino a quando si è alzato e si è allontanato mezzo metro dal tavolo, sfortuna vuole che vicino c’era la porta e il proprietario del ristorante è inciampato SENZA CADERE ne farsi male. Ha esclamato “porca p..tana tr..a” per tutto il ristorante. Una reazione davvero esagerata per quello che era accaduto, davvero un niente, poiché non aveva neanche piatti in mano per fortuna. Sono solita scusarmi anche più del dovuto per l’accaduto e ho chiesto “tutto bene?” , il prorprietario prontamente mi risponde “mi paga lei se mi faccio male? Lo tenga sotto il tavolo e basta sto cane”. Rispondo “siamo assicurati e anche il cane non si preoccupi, la pago io”. Noi siamo proprietari di hotel e ristorante nella riviera romagnola, da noi una maleducazione e un atteggiamento così è blasfemia. Un ristorante che vuole essere di livello, dove a capodanno con amici abbiamo speso solo 150 euro di coperto, non può permettersi uno schifo di atteggiamento così.

02/04/2024: Great pizza, cheers for the kitchen staff. However, service inside the bar was really bad. Me and another person were waiting for like 15min without any queue. The staff were doing all sorts of things, except attend the costumers at the bar.

21/03/2024: Cozy pizzeria with delicious pizzas. We were 5 people and we all really enjoyed the food. Prices are between 13-20 euros per pizza. The staff was friendly. I recommend!

28/03/2024: We have been several times to this refined and elegant venue with a spectacular view of the Tofana and the Cortina basin. Fine dishes and impeccable service. A must-see during a day of skiing. Congratulations to Mrs. Silvia and Mr. Luca and to all the staff.

25/03/2024: Was there 2nd week of March 2024, Best food I had in the Dolomites over a week. The fish deserved three Michelin stars *** ! The rest of the bites too ! Staff were the friendliest as all Italians have been. I was with a pre-eminent alpine guide Cristina G, so treatment even better.

07/03/2024: An enchanting and magical place at 2300 meters ❤️🚠🗻❄️ that exudes freedom and peace. I was skiing in the Tofane and stopped in this hut for lunch. A delightful place where I recommend eating outdoors with this wonderful view of the majestic Dolomites. I took the house dish, Punta Anna dish, in honor of a mountain, an encore of delicious first courses served by very kind and courteous people who will make your break a delight. The air is very clean and fresh and there is calm and passion in the welcome and in the food. I saw the dishes on the nearby tables and they were really inviting! The obviously wooden shelter was built by a founder of the Cortina squirrel club in 1956, Luigi Ghedina known as Bibi. The place exudes the sweetness and strength of the tradition handed down by grandfather Bibi. For mountain lovers, the refuge also has rooms for the night! Really congratulations guys! I could have stayed there for hours!

22/03/2024: Our favorite spot in Cortina - good for both apres ski and late night fun! The best bartenders in town and good wine, beer, and espresso martinis. Don’t forget to try a bombardino! Delicious. We went four times in three days and would have gone another time but it was closed on Wednesday. They have snacks too if you are hungry. Seating inside and out.

04/03/2024: Bar simpatico alla mano e giovanile, i ragazzi al banco bravi e simpatici, peccato per la ragazza riccetta biondina , di una scostanza e maleducazione imbarazzante… peccato i colleghi meriterebbero una collaboratrice più all’altezza ….

05/03/2024: You will feel like the protagonists of a fairy tale in this wooden cabin in the middle of the woods. The rooms, all in wood, delightful and with attention to every detail. Brand new but perfectly contextualized. The magic continues with the restaurant, perhaps the best in Cortina. All just a two-minute drive from the lifts that lead to the wonderful Tofane.

23/07/2023: Wow. This is what a bar or pub should be. Extraordinarily nice owners, excellent food and fantastic drink at reasonable prices. Viva Venezia (in Cortina!)
