31/03/2024: The piadina is not bad, cooked well, I just don't understand why they charge 5 euros for 4 slices of sausage. Don't come and say that it is a product of excellence! Updated... I repeat the concept that with the 5 euros of a sausage, you can easily eat a simple piadina... If you want to celebrate yourself, that's a different matter. Hygiene, freshness and quality of the products should never be in question if made correctly

29/03/2024: A traditional restaurant, simple, but with delicious homemade food, excellent, fast service and very friendly people. We tried the tiramisu since it seems like everyone recommended it, and it's no wonder it's one of the best I've ever had. Great quality/price. If you are in the area, don't hesitate to try it.

03/10/2023: Many restaurants in central Verona are an insult to Italian cuisine, as the old city has become overwhelmed with tourists. This one, just about 200m the ‘wrong side’ of p. dei signori, is an exception. The food was outstanding, service impeccable. Not cheap but better value than many. We went a second time a couple of days after our first visit, and were not disappointed. The menu is less extensive than some (no fish of any kind when we went, for example, and a choice of only about 8 or 10 for each of primo and secondi) but all was extremely good. 05/04/2024: On 04 April 2024, on a busy graduation day in Verona, we stumbled upon a hidden gem: BUOONO. Intrigued by our love for Japanese and Chinese cuisine, especially poke, we decided to explore this cosy spot nestled in the quiet streets near the Arena. Despite the city's hustle and bustle, BUOONO offered a tranquil haven. The vibe was creative and laid-back, and the prices were surprisingly reasonable. The décor was quirky and cheerful, instantly putting us in a good mood. Seated at one of the available tables, we savoured freshly prepared dishes bursting with flavour and nutrition. The staff was friendly, adding to the relaxed vibe of the place. BUOONO was a refreshing break from the chaos of Verona, offering a unique dining experience that celebrated freshness and creativity. As a family of four, we enjoyed venturing beyond the usual pizza and pasta. While we admired the restaurant's eco-friendly ethos, we couldn't help but wish for a more sustainable approach to serving ware. Plastic plates, cutlery, and glasses seemed out of place in such a wholesome place. Nevertheless, BUOONO left a lasting impression, and we're already looking forward to returning on our next Verona adventure. Here's to hoping that our next encounter will be delicious and environmentally friendly. Hats off to BUOONO for being both fantastic and affordable!

16/03/2024: Informal and super welcoming pub, historic place in Verona. Highly recommended for beer lovers given the wide choice of both taps and bottles and cans. The fish and chips are also very good, I absolutely want to try the burgers too! Very English pub atmosphere, fantastic.

06/04/2024: I organized a post-graduation reception/aperitif here for around twenty people. The owners immediately proved to be very kind and offered us an aperitif + bruschetta. The result went beyond our expectations: we were given a room all to ourselves, well-prepared aperitifs (spritz + prosecco + soft drinks) and excellent bruschettas of many flavours, all super delicious! Great availability and kindness, welcoming place a few meters from the Arena, high quality at an excellent price! Highly recommended.

30/03/2024: Perfect spot for lunch. We got a great window seat and tried out 4 different bruschettas! Each one was delicious - we will definitely be back!!

04/04/2024: Go before midnight for hot Krapfens, this is where the locals are going for a good Krapfen!

07/04/2024: Wonderful family-run trattoria, excellent food with lots of courtesy, smiles and simplicity, without too many frills and everything homemade. An experience worth trying. Among the dishes to recommend, the soft polenta with mixed mushrooms is missing, so I mention it here, very good!

06/04/2024: Typical and welcoming Veronese trattoria where you can find traditional dishes. Amarone risotto, boiled meats, various types of meat... the kindness of the staff in their welcome and service makes everything more pleasant. The desserts are also very good.

08/03/2024: Vivo a Verona da più di otto anni e la pizza di Zio Lele è un must. Pizza unica, con impasto fragrante e leggero, ingredienti di ottima qualità, abbinamenti da urlo. Da non perdere neanche i panettoni artigianali e le colombe. E poi Lele è un grande, insieme alla pizza c'è sempre tempo per una chiacchierata in amicizia. Da visitare. Ancora, ancora e ancora!

01/04/2024: We have been coming back to this restaurant for over 4 years: it is absolutely one of our favorite. Simone is the most caring host, and the team does live up to the high standards he sets. The kitchen backs up the energy and high levels of quality that we are used to when we spend our hard earned money. We cannot recommend this place more than the fact it has been No 1 since 5 years on TripAdvisor. A must for us. And Thank You for being here. We have serious food allergy issues and nothing is too much trouble.

01/04/2024: Fomos ao primeiro do Trip em Verona. Como todos os restaurantes na Itália, nem sempre os primeiros são os melhores. É um restaurante muito refinado. Porém os valores de fato são mais elevados. Algumas cortesias vieram durante a experiência. Pratos ok! Mas nada muito memorável. Pedimos o Nhoque de pato e uma massa com peixe típico da região.

27/03/2024: We loved the food, atmosphere and service. We ordered a mixed prosciutto and mortadella plate as a starter, with a very easy drinking wine offered by the waiter. As the main course, we chose Amareno risotto and Gnocchi with horse meat. We ended the evening with a delicious parfait. All recommended. Don't forget to book your table!

23/03/2024: Highly recommended historic trattoria where you can eat well and have traditional dishes. A high quality wine list. Informal but refined environment. Prices are not cheap, but absolutely fair for the excellent quality, the very pleasant service and the very central location in Verona.
