07/05/2024: Very delicious food, well presented with excellent service. Vines were served directly at the table directly from the bottle. Price range for a for a full menu (3 courses) and one Glas of alcohol is 55-70 EUR pP. Absolutely recommendable, if you’re aware of a higher price point.

07/09/2023: We did a cooking class with Lara and Andrea and it was the highlight of our trip so far. The cooking itself was fantastic, the location picturesque and Lara and Andrea were incredible. They went the extra mile to teach us and tell us about the techniques and some of the culture behind it. I cannot speak highly enough of this. I would gladly do this again and will encourage friends coming to Lake Garda to do this too. Thank you so much for the incredible experience, we loved it!

06/04/2024: Quite environment close to La Arena. We had dinner twice in only one week. Nice pizza and risotto al radicchio. The waiters were very nice.

06/04/2024: The food is great! The service is perfect and the staff is very friendly! We came here for dinner yesterday, we loved it and we decided to go a second time today for lunch. There isn't a single downside, it's fantastic!!!

02/04/2024: Beautiful cafe with terrace overlooking the river and stone bridge. The spritz comes with a snack consisting of peanuts, chips and tomato bruschetta. Fair price, clean restrooms and friendly staff.

01/04/2024: No-nonsense down-to-earth food and drinks in a magical location with views on the river and the castle. Service was friendly without groveling and efficient without pressure. We had a light lunch and drinks and enjoyed it greatly. The only downside was other guests constantly standing over our table to take selfies with the view, which cannot be blamed on the establishment.

18/10/2023: We found it on the net, took 2 attempts to get there but we made it. We wanted balcony room but couldn't, then 5 min after unpacking got the opportunity to move and grabbed it, then bucket of bubbles on top. Small balcony but hey, our balcony over looking the water with bubbles, fantastic and unexpected. Fantastic staff, fantastic area and food, breakfast views fantastic and rugs for evening sit outside. We were going into Verona, advised by staff not to go as most places shut that day,wait 2 days and less tourists, great advise . In the mean time we had the caravan truck markets to keep us busy. So great a time we didn't get to the fort. When we left the staff apologised for there poor English, hello we're in Italy, we are the ones to apologise. We had great time, great location, very very relaxing, nothing a problem. Free parking a bonus, in the owners garage

05/04/2024: We celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary! TOP restaurant in the heart of Gard Lake, very kind staff, excellent cuisine and vast choice, excellent wines and desserts, truly excellent service! We'll be back soon!

25/03/2024: We had dinner the other evening, very good food, nothing to say, well cooked and very fresh fish. We took the fish starter for two people, cost 28 euros; we liked it a lot but the doses were really too small and for this reason we were disappointed, considering the cost of 28 euros. We then had the spaghetti with clams, very good and with top quality clams; It's a shame that the pasta was a little too al dente to my taste, giving the impression that it was pre-cooked pasta. Overall very good, however we considered the price to be exaggerated for the quantities that were brought to us in the starter.

26/02/2024: Brought by friends, it was a pleasant discovery. Very pleasant fish dinner, the mussels were delicious and recommended, but from the first courses to the desserts everything expresses care and love for good food.

22/04/2024: Pizza nella norma, dimensioni piccoline, rapporto qualità prezzo un po’ caro. Premessa, non sono vegetariano, ma per questioni di dieta dovevo mangiare pizza con verdure. Fra le mille pizze (compresi impasti proteici e light) una sola con solo verdure. No problem, la prendo (pizza “naif”). Davvero anemica, normale trovo le verdure grigliate, in questo caso zucchine lesse a crudo, funghi in barattolo, solo qualche traccia di radicchio e melanzane cubetti; prezzo 11€. La pizza non mi ha sfamato (sono 65kg, quindi non sono uno mangia come un bue). Mia compagna con lo stesso prezzo ha preso una pizza con la burrata, quindi direi che il condimento aveva tutt’altro valore. Pizza comunque buona, nella norma.

31/03/2024: …here we are again and finally here at the EL GRIO inn… After the Christmas lunch... we did an encore with the Easter one... and look, the success was repeated. As always welcomed by the family and an amazing menu... wine pairing always at the top and description of the same always extremely exhaustive but above all fascinating... food as already mentioned first rate... Once again, a sincere thank you for your professionalism but above all for your wonderful frankness, conviviality and hospitality... at the first opportunity we will travel over 400 km for the 3rd time to come and visit you and be pampered by you. 21/03/2024: Known by chance, we chose to make the blind menu with 6 courses decided by the chef with truly particular and fabulous dishes, also with the pairing of local wines. Very kind service, we immediately felt welcomed and at ease. The two brothers who run the inn are two really nice and kind people and this makes everything more special. Excellent value for money! I recommend anyone to stop and eat at least once! We will try to return despite the 200 km! Keep it up because you are amazing!

13/05/2024: Locale elegante e raffinato, dall’ambientazione molto intima e minimal chic. Abbiamo cenato in data 12 maggio io e mio marito. Siamo stati accolti da personale giovane, professionale, preparato e molto cordiale che ci ha saputo guidare in questa eccellente esperienza. Ingredienti di qualità eccellente, un connubio di sapori raffinati e ricercati. Assolutamente da considerarsi una tappa obbligata per ogni nostro soggiorno a Verona! Mi dispiace tanto non avervi scoperti prima! Purtroppo eravamo di fretta per via dell’orario del concerto all’Arena, ma la prossima volta vorrei provare il menù degustazione e avere il tempo di rilassarmi e godere di questa sublime esperienza. Davvero complimenti, finalmente un locale davvero fuori dalla normalità turistica del centro! Tutto davvero eccellente, top! Alla prossima sicuramente!

20/04/2024: Abbiamo mangiato benissimo, cibo di alta qualità con rapporto qualità prezzo assolutamente conveniente anche se prediligo sempre la qualità rispetto al prezzo. Ambiente accogliente, rilassante con personale gentile e altamente professionale. Consigliatissimo!

09/05/2024: Very nice and welcoming place! Top staff! I came back here after many years... the risotto disappointed me a bit... Risotto with truffle with a hint of artificial truffle and the smell is unmistakable for those who know about cooking! Plates with zero decoration placed in uninviting ovals! There's a bit of color missing, come on...!!! The idea of ​​the tasting menu is a winning one and the bruschettas with sauces and bread are really, really good! 😉 courteous table service, never intrusive and the guys very well prepared! Thanks anyway for the lovely evening... there was a birthday and they sang happy birthday to the girl! It was a nice moment... very nice come on!!! The dessert... very fresh millefeuille with chantilly cream... and strawberries... I would have eaten a quintal!!!🥰🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️Thank you and well done anyway. Mine is not a criticism to simply bury if you want to use a product that has value use the original and raise the price.... Ditto with the amarone risotto…. 07/05/2024: Suggestive environment, very reminiscent of a train station, well-curated risotto tasting. Friendly staff and prices I must say are normal. The only negative note is that the coffee should be avoided.

30/03/2024: Excellent restaurant with very friendly staff and delicious food at affordable prices. The service is excellent and the food is served in record time, even though the restaurant is well attended. We were so satisfied the first evening that we returned the next evening as well. Everything is very tasty, from pizza, meat to dessert. We especially liked the tiramisu with Nutella. The only thing was that it was a little difficult for us to choose a dish because the menu is only in Italian. It would be simpler if there was another translation, at least in English, but the waiters are very kind and try to translate and explain everything. We were also lucky that the chef spoke our language. Thank you and see you again on another occasion.
