07/04/2024: Very large place, I was very impressed by the service, the waiters were always present and very attentive, nothing was ever missing. We ate well, Saturday night is karaoke night and it was a whole party. There were 70 of us for a private party expertly mixed with the evening's clientele. Highly recommended.

02/04/2024: On Easter Monday we enjoyed a delicious lunch at the Buglioni inn in San Pietro in Cariano, in the province of Verona. This charming inn is located in a former country farmhouse, surrounded by green fields. Inside, the spacious rooms are characterized by the evocative high wooden ceilings and the large rooms, embellished with elegant rock walls and tables beautifully set in light shades. As a first course we savored the delicious tagliatelle with radicchio, Monte Veronese cheese and beef tartare. The pasta was perfectly cooked, and we were struck by the interesting combination of the Monte Veronese cream with the strong and crunchy flavor of the radicchio, and the freshness of the tartare, creating a truly surprising combination. For the second course we chose the grilled scottona diaphragm. While it is notoriously a somewhat tough cut of meat, it turned out to be perfectly cooked rare, with a uniformly tender texture and a truly rich, satisfying flavour. Special praise certainly goes to the grill master. The grilled new potatoes on the side turned out to be truly delicious, completing this exquisite meal perfectly. The food offered is truly excellent and the service is courteous and prepared. I would like to give four stars as encouragement to improve some aspects. Even though we had booked in advance, we were unfortunately half an hour late. Although we tried to call with no response, our table had been given away; however, we were lucky and they still accommodated us. I noticed that there was only one dessert trolley and the waiting time to receive the dessert was slightly longer. I would recommend reviewing the organization of the distribution of sweets. Additionally, some menu items were unavailable as supplies were out of stock and the restock wouldn't arrive until the next day. The restaurant has great potential and I believe that with some small improvements it could reach excellent levels. The food is refined and the service is quality. The Buglioni inn has everything it takes to offer a truly memorable gastronomic experience.

09/01/2024: Anche quest'anno io e la mia compagna abbiamo voluto ripetere la bellissima esperienza vissuta l'anno scorso ed abbiamo prenotato presso questo ristorante per trascorrere la serata di capodanno. Non mi dilungherò nel recensire la bontà dei cibi proposti, come ho fatto l'anno scorso e che, comunque, ribadisco buonissimi anche in questa occasione, ma per ringraziare in particolare Gaetano, gestore di questo locale. Nonostante avesse tutti i tavoli occupati è riuscito a riservarci un tavolo all'ultimo momento trovando una soluzione molto soddisfacente. Cordialità, disponibilità, accoglienza ed allegria sono gli ingredienti principali che contraddistinguono Gaetano e tutto il personale, efficienza e rapidità del servizio ai tavoli. Eccellente, da tornarci ogni volta che si passa da queste parti. Grazie. Luca e Lorella.

06/04/2024: I went there with my partner and my baby. The pizza was good but above all you could feel the quality of the products, not to mention the desserts, which were delicious. Very nice place, has a large car park, I recommend booking.

01/04/2024: We are back. Elegant hotel. Spacious rooms. Excellent Cleanliness Breakfast with a notable buffet plus "on request". Excellent cuisine and service too. Excellent cellar. Sublime pastry. Parking. SPA and swimming pool they deserve. Privileged location. Advised.

25/03/2024: Pleasant stay, exceptional hotel and cuisine. The only note is that the spa is not supervised and is also open to children: a couple even entered with a stroller and some kids started doing diving competitions... I would say that either you choose to use it as a relaxation area or as an area open to all, in any case it would be right to clarify so that everyone can adjust when booking.

10/11/2023: 2* place charging 5* prices .Front room tiny no balcony looking to cark park,could not swing a cat no table or chairs.Very noisy outside,bottle bins collection starts about 3.30 am and that's your sleep over,no way a relaxing quite holiday dogs all over the place allowed.Breakfast staff lovely pity the breakfast is so limited and boring same everyday the seven days we had to spend there.One day would have been enough.We ate dinner in the restaurant for 6 nights spending on average 100euro + on food and drinks On Thursday night we had dinner again and drinks paid waiter who we had order dinner and drinks from.We decided to have a few more drinks in restaurant.We ordered 2 drinks and got talking to waiter with the pony tail,he told us he goes travelling in the months when this 2 star closes for a couple of months,then we handed him 10euro for the drinks he put the money in his top pocket he did not come back with change or receipt,we passed no remarks it's normal enough everywhere.We sat there for a while chatting and enjoying our drinks and decided to call 2 more,the owner whom we liked came down demanding payment for 4 drinks we said we payed for the last drinks but he started a big scene he said we called him MOBSTERS a word which we or anybody we know in Ireland ever used the only time we ever heard Mobsters is in Black and white movies from a way way back.To say we are and still shocked after this horrible time in the Alpino 2 star place is a very understatement.We did not eat in this 2* again and we were glad to get out of it.To think we spent lots and lots of money in this place and to try and not pay for 2 drinks worth less than 10euro in a foreign country I will leave that up to yourselves to decide.We will never go to this 2* Alpino in Malchesine Lake Garda again and having been to Italy on seven previous occasions with no hassle like this or any other holiday we have been on.Italy sadly is a country we will never return to again.We are still in deep shock.il

05/04/2024: We lucked out when we chose to dine at this restaurant. Despite some disappointing experiences at other spots around Lake Garda with similar ratings, we took a chance and ended up here. Surprisingly, it wasn't very crowded, which can often be a warning sign. However, we snagged a lovely table and were treated to a diverse array of dishes, each bursting with quality, flavor, and authentic Italian flair. The waitstaff were incredibly friendly, catering not only to us but also to our little ones, making it a truly enjoyable evening for the whole family. While it may be a tad pricier than other options, trust me when I say it's worth every penny. This place is definitely not a tourist trap – it's a genuine culinary gem.

31/03/2024: The staff is attentive, however the cuisine leaves something to be desired, the meat served was cold, the dishes nothing exceptional. The friendliness and kindness of the staff is excellent. High prices. We will not return

27/03/2024: Friendly service, best location on the lake. Extensive menu with something to suit every taste. This year (2024) I'll be here again. The cuisine is even better, the service is still top - an absolute recommendation!
