12/05/2024: The restaurant is in a small hamlet of the municipality of Quarona (Vercelli), an ideal place to stop for a coffee or to start a walk. Little frequented road, suitable for walking, both on foot and by bicycle. Personal, quick to serve and extremely kind. Excellent cuisine, prepared by Chef Ezio. Prices more than acceptable. You can also have lunch outside. It's worth it!

17/02/2024: Bellissimo rifugio ai piedi del Monte Rosa! Oggi era una splendida giornata di sole e abbiamo mangiato in terrazza con una vista da togliere il fiato, si vedeva anche la Capanna Regina Margherita. Cibo ottimo, abbiamo iniziato con la patata della tradizione avvolta da pancetta e con una crema al formaggio molto buono e delicata. Io ho preso la bagna cauda con assaggio di battuta di Fassona (credetemi se vi dico che non è per niente un “assaggio” ma una bella porzione) davvero ottima, la mia amica gli gnocchi con zucca e fonduta di formaggio spettacolari! Per finire abbiamo diviso una bonnet che ha concluso in maniera eccellente il pranzo. Ciliegina sulla torta è un rifugio pet friendly (che non è così scontato come si possa pensare). Ci torneremo sicuramente!!! Grazie ai ragazzi che gestiscono e lavorano presso questo rifugio per l’ottima esperienza. A presto!

20/04/2024: A nice surprise. Attracted by curiosity and proximity to the b&b, we enter the small road inside the village. It's like jumping back in time. A place stuck in times gone by. With a modern kitchen. Finally right portions: not too much. Not too little. We eat seasonal food. Excellent wine. Ate the ossobuco with mashed potatoes, agnolotti, and a couple of desserts. Watered with a rosé Nebbiolo which is a nectar. To return. Compliments.

07/01/2024: Ci siamo fermati in questo semplice ma accogliente e pulito locale. Siamo arrivati forse un po' tardi per il pranzo, ma ci hanno accolti con una cortesia rara, il cibo è dignitoso, non ci troviamo in un ristorante stellato, ma il servizio, la gentilezza e l' accoglienza sono da 5 stelle, complimenti. Si mangia dignitosamente a prezzi più che onesti, in un locale pulito. Meritano di essere visitati.

05/04/2024: Today I had an aperitif here, devastating cured meats and cheeses. The drink prices are very honest, the platter was worth every penny. The bread perhaps not very fresh but otherwise nothing to say. I will definitely be back ❤️

26/03/2024: Excellent wine shop with refined products for excellent snacks during the day. There are few tables, so you must be willing to share them in case of need (if there are two of you and only the large table at the entrance is free, you will find yourself sitting with other diners)... and for me this is only a positive fact. Excellent wines, honest prices

03/04/2024: Nice place, uncomfortable chairs for lunch but not for resting, pappardelle with ragù for two people, good in white but not enough, a dish that is difficult to serve as it is like a priest's hat with a hollow slightly larger than a cup for coffee and milk. The dish and the bill were rejected, the service was a bit listless, sometimes a smile doesn't hurt. Water, bland breadsticks (left) rating 2 out of 5

27/01/2024: Truly Piedmont environment and food, I tasted a delicious bagna caouda and spectacular agnolotti with meat sauce. A limited but accurate selection of wines for Braida lovers. Worth a try.

21/04/2024: we stayed at this beautiful hotel for a weekend in mid-March. Very central location logistically, perfect for reaching the ski lifts. Excellent welcome, very courteous and helpful staff, attentive to our every need. Spacious, clean and tastefully furnished rooms. Cozy restaurant with typical and delicious dishes. The ribs cooked at low temperature are excellent. Varied, rich and good quality breakfast. Also recommended for families with children. We will be back.

02/03/2024: Abbiamo cenato al Ristorante Cristallo in una sera di febbraio, Entrando, abbiamo subito apprezzato una piacevole atmosfera e il personale che ci ha messo a nostro agio. Ma la vera sorpresa è stata all'arrivo dei piatti, decisamente di ottima qualità e con porzioni generose. Tra i piatti provati, consigliatissimi i tortelloni neri e assolutamente da non perdere il tiramisù della casa!

28/03/2024: Family-run restaurant, the outside is a bit anonymous but it also has its charm, the inside is rustic, very welcoming, well looked after and with a fireplace that creates a lot of atmosphere. Excellent cuisine and good value for money. We will be back

28/03/2024: Family-run restaurant discovered by chance while traveling with great satisfaction. Traditional dishes with a high quality-price ratio. Don't miss the frogs, the marinated trout and the cured meats they produce. Worth the stop for any trip between Turin and Milan.
