22/03/2024: Very nice place, super vintage! Delicious food, very high quality wine, as well as all the ingredients used to make the dishes. My boyfriend and I tried all the cicchetti, the vegetable meatballs, the potatoes, the fried aromatic herb leaves and the stewed cuttlefish. All accompanied by a mustard and a smoked mayonnaise, both too good! Note of super merit to the innkeeper who was able to pamper us from start to finish, you can see that he puts love into everything he does. Thank you very much Toni for letting us discover your little gem in Valpolicella! We can't wait to return and try the other delicacies on the menu! Anna & Diego

07/04/2024: Beautiful winery with large selection of Italian wines on enomatic system (4 enomats - every has 8 bottles). 16 wines were local including ripasso and amarone. There is nice selection of italian food. Great place. Service is friendly and professional.

04/04/2024: By far the best restaurant I’ve ever been too. Marco (the owner) takes the time to explain what goes into the food and how they cook everything. He knows about every wine he sells and can answer any questions you have. You can see the love and care that go into everything at Symposio. If you are in Verona, it is a MUST VISIT. I loved everything on the menu but by far my favourite was the Tiramisu, it is to die for.

25/03/2024: We went to dinner on the terrace and I assure you it is a nice and exclusive place. Extremely courteous and kind staff, with me, my wife and our two year old daughter. Excellent food, refined and refined, chef Salvatore Garofalo, who works in an open kitchen with his staff, is exceptional and signs his dishes with elegance in the combinations. Highly recommended for a refined dinner in the heart of Verona!

16/03/2024: Just brilliant. Quiet, at this time of year. Perfetto! Beautiful place, professional staff, lovely ambience, classy cocktails and bar. So many great restaurants in Verona meant we didn't eat dinner there. Warmly recommended. Not cheap, but worth it for no riff-raff! Unfortunately they must be obliged to allow Germans and Americans in. If I owned and ran a hotel, they, Arabs and Russians, would all be banned. Nasty, rude, mean-spirited untermensch. Which you can detect in their carping, whining, reviews.

16/02/2024: DISAPPOINTMENT. Traveling 80km specifically to celebrate my birthday as a couple we had the worst experience we've ever had in a restaurant. Completely abandoned for an hour after ordering we were forced to get up and leave without eating anything. When asked for explanations, the waitress' response was: "have faith and it will happen to you too". So much for the impeccable service as read in other reviews. The impression is that clear priority in service was given to large tables (which in fact were served punctually). The reaction of the owner who replied "Don't worry" and did nothing to stop us was very disappointing. After a couple of hours, a pseudo-apology message arrived from the owner where he reiterated that the risotto was almost ready. The apology message technique probably avoids the presence of negative reviews, but this time it went badly... In his place, to get out elegantly, I would have rather invited the dissatisfied customer again, probably when the waiting lists are long the satisfaction of one more customer doesn't make a difference.

04/04/2024: EXCELLENT!! The choices of focaccias are varied, you can request modifications, but above all: the products are fabulous. The mortadella was simply delicious, tasty and fresh, the same for the coppa and the ham. The foccacia breads are delicious, crunchy, soft and airy at the same time, it was a real treat. The staff is charming, the atmosphere is very relaxed and the service is fast. I absolutely recommend!!!

02/04/2024: We have frequented this post for almost 20 years and the quality and cordiality remain intact. It is difficult to resist the temptations to try their selection (tasting) of "primi", although the menu has much more to offer. Leonardo and his family are excellent hosts.

26/03/2024: Review relating exclusively to the restaurant. First impression not the best: a bit trendy place, cool background music, many covers and menu with too many dishes. But I must admit that I had an excellent dinner: tasty potato gnocchi with fondue, delicious and not at all heavy fried snails with truffle sauce, delicious side dishes (baked potatoes, artichokes). The second courses are probably the strongest dishes: I really appreciated the grilled deer with polenta but the sea bass fillet was also delicious, just to say that there is no shortage of fish dishes either! The dessert is also very good (I tried the puff pastry) but it is difficult to get there because the dishes are all really generous in quantity (positive in this sense that for many courses there is the possibility of ordering... half a dose!). The wine list is also valid with various prices but in many cases more than accessible. In short, don't be fooled: it might seem like a place that is all appearance and little substance but in reality the opposite is true!

10/03/2024: Extremely happy to have tried this place. The staff/owner is fantastically kind, always ready and super efficient. Zero meter products, super good, local and local. I highly recommend their charcuterie board with hot, crunchy polenta. The meat is something wonderful and is cooked to perfection. I honestly have two regrets; the first for not having taken photos to put below for the dishes and the second for not having been able to try their first courses. Surely, I don't know when, we will definitely return and this time I will want to give myself the right amount of time to taste everything. Recommended for anyone who wants to feel full not only with their stomach but also with their head. Warmly recommended. PS I recommend booking because the place is likely to be full and afterwards you should leave with your mouth watering for the missed opportunity.
