02/03/2024: A volte non è facile una eredità gastronomica importante. Se leggete le recensioni fino al 2019 circa si parla di Enrico, che aveva praticamente creato la fama del locale. Quando mi disse che voleva cedere restai addolorato. Era una bella Persona e la cucina era fatta con amore, curava la spesa e la scelta del pesce. Mi disse che aveva rifiutato offerte perchè voleva scegliere bene la nuova gestione. Ora in cucina c è Mirko ed Enrico forse meriterebbe una foto in Sala, perchè non c è più ma sarebbe contento dei nuovi ragazzi.
Mirko era già noto a Marzamemi mi pare e tutti parlano con affetto di Enrico. Provate i ravioli di cernia con il Sugo di gamberetti e menta!
Provate il Frappato con la frittura di Paranza! O l'antipasto della casa ricco e immenso oppure la pasta con cozze e ceci che Mirko ha promesso di inserire di nuovo in menù (era una specialità di Enrico che incantò i miei colleghi catanesi che tornarono a Siracusa per quel piatto). Il servizio in sala vede un carrello elegante e pratico e insomma... Guardate anche le foto della sala con le pareti antiche e poi venite.. Non lontano dal carcere Borbonico ma lontani dalla confusione di Ortigia. Bravi
28/02/2024: Pranzo in famiglia..personale super accogliente e gentile, ti fanno sentire a casa. Materia prima ottima. Piatti di pesce buonissimi e abbondanti. Ci siamo tornati l'indomani e ci torneremo la prossima volta che saremo ad Ortigia.

18/03/2024: Abbiamo prenotato un tavolo per le 21.30, non essendo del luogo ci siamo fidati delle recensioni dalle quali ci saremmo aspettati un trattamento diverso. Siamo arrivati puntuali ma il locale era stracolmo di gente, prevedibile.. sabato sera. Raggiunto finalmente il tavolo a noi riservato,aspettiamo pazientemente, ordiniamo... in tempi ragionevoli ci servono delle 🍟 patatine. Dopo di ché..il nulla. Aspetta..aspetta...aspetta. allorché ci vediamo scavalcati per ben due volte. Servono clienti che abbiamo visto arrivare dopo di noi.
Io penso che la pazienza ha un limite, anche perché si può sbagliare una volta ma ripetere l'errore subito dopo non è ammissibile. Per concludere dopo quasi due ore di attesa siamo andati via senza cenare. La pizza??? Abbiamo sentito solo l'odore

17/03/2024: Indivuato grazie ad una App ed è stata una piacevole sorpresa. Il Locale ha una saletta Interna ed un veranda esterna, conviene prenotare. Il personale gentile e attento e i piatti scelti tutti molto buoni ed abbondanti, continuate così. Prezzi nella media. Consigliato

13/11/2023: The star is given for the location and the beautiful view. Neither the food nor the service deserved it. The food was deliberately noble and tasted bad, the service was arrogant, unfriendly and unprofessional. A bad mix. The beautiful view can also be found elsewhere.
15/10/2023: The food was so delicious. I’m not sure why this restaurant doesn’t have better reviews. As an Italian, I really appreciated all the flavours and well cooked dishes. Everything I’ve tried here has been so good. And the view is a huge bonus, not to mention the extra friendly staff.

05/01/2024: Nous sommes venus dîner dans ce restaurant en comparant avec les cartes de quelques autres restaurants de la rue Cavour. Bien nous en a pris, nous sommes ressortis enthousiasmés de ce restaurant, à l’accueil fort chaleureux et au service avec rien à redire (notre serveur s’est lancé dans quelques mots de français et nous a montré les signatures et messages de personnes connues venues manger dans le restaurant dont VGE).
Le top évidemment la cuisine :
Excellente pizza 4 fromages pour ce qui me concerne, pour mon épouse gnocchi à la sauce au pesto de pistache avec des crevettes sublissimes et mémorables ou encore tagliolini alla siciliana savoureux.
Excellent rapport qualité / prix.
23/11/2023: Nu har vi provat pizza på olika orter och nu har turen kommit till Syrakusa! Vi hittade denna restaurang i en av de små sidogatorna. Ingen satt vid borden som befanns sig på rad längs husväggen i den trånga gränden. Vanligtvis så brukar varningsklockan ringa men eftersom det är lågsäsong så tog vi en chans! Mitt sällskap ville på en av pizzorna byta ut bacon mot skinka på sin pizza. Diskussion uppstod men det gick vägen. Pizzorna var okey men tomatsåsen smakade som tomatpuré på tub!
En syrlig smak som trängde sig igenom ingredienserna. Mozzarellan på pizzan var av första klass! Långa fina trådar vid lyft. När notan kom in så såg vi att bytet till skinka kostade 3 euro extra!!😏Högt pris och inga kunder?
