13/05/2024: This restaurant was absolutely fantastic. We had the steak with mushrooms and the pasta with clams. The bruschetta was nice. The restaurant was clean and well organized. Our server explained each dish we were interested in and made great suggestions. I would recommend you try this restaurant when in Florence. I will definitely be visiting again.

04/04/2024: We did a cooking class in the restaurant. It was such a fun and interactive class. The chef and Antonio were very passionate about the class and were great ! Learned so many great, yet simple, and delicious recipes. Would highly recommended.

05/04/2024: The meat and cheese platter as an appetizer is delicious with a sweet and salty combination, the mussels are very fresh, and the highlight is the pumpkin risotto, which is the best risotto I have ever tasted! ! !

01/05/2024: Easter Monday lunch between couples in the beautiful location of the Relais Poggio Borgoni located just outside San Casciano, the Osteria il Poggio welcomes us in warm and comfortable environments (outside the cold and rain)..courteous and helpful service, a menu with a wide choice and dishes the truly delicious territory and the excellent wine make lunch a welcome pleasant note on a gray day.

28/03/2024: The place is welcoming and offers impeccable service for every need. I have been a regular customer since it opened and have always found full satisfaction. I can't mention a strong point because I've been there on many occasions and they've all satisfied me completely: - Aperitifs (where you can consume a wide choice of cocktails and craft beers accompanied by platters and delicacies) - Dinners (where you can eat gourmet burgers or cold dishes of monstrous goodness, with local ingredients of incredible quality) - After dinner (I've tried almost all of the vast range of liqueurs they offer, but they always have new ones) You spend little for the quality offered, so I highly recommend it. You can park in the surrounding areas and once there you can enjoy the beauty of the historic center. Don't miss a cold beer on a summer evening, in the shadow of the bell tower of Altopascio, it's a magical experience.

31/03/2024: Went here on our honeymoon. It was our last dinner in Italy and our favorite. We had the baked tomato tarine as starter - highly recommend.ains was two truffle dishes on the daily menu - both were great. For desert, e highly recommend the spices routr. It's a platter of multiple desserts spanning flavors from Italy to Iran and china amongst others.

02/03/2024: Sono stato a cena all’osteria micheletti ed è stata una piacevole esperienza. Come anticipato abbiamo preso l’uovo poche al tartufo dal gusto molto delicato accompagnato da una spuma al pecorino. Di primo abbiamo preso le pappardelle ripiene alla pasta e patate con brodo dashi al parmigiano e in conclusione un ottimo dolce fatto in casa. Servizio di livello e molto preparati sulla scelda dei vini essendo il cameriere un sommelier. Prezzo allieanto alla tipologia di cucina offerta. Ci torneremo sicuramente!!

02/04/2024: Very good Easter lunch. Typical local dishes, with some really good off-menu specials. Very friendly and helpful staff with excellent advice on what to take, fair value for money. The place isn't very big so it's best to book. If like us you don't know where to eat in Florence, you're on the safe side here

06/04/2024: Best restaurant experience I’ve had in a long time, and we travel a LOT. The meal was outstanding — the seafood was fresh and exquisitely prepared: the salmon and tuna tartare, the red fish tortelli, the stuffed squid. And the service was fantastic, with gracious and personable staff. Top notch hospitality and a wonderful gastronomic experience! Would take a side trip to Chiusi just to eat here again.

Il proprietario persona molto garbata ed ospitale, ci ha piacevolmente seguiti durante la permanenza e consigliati bene su portate e vino. 07/02/2024: Thanks for the experience, the menu is very well looked after, very good, to have a different experience we tried the cocktail pairing, it was unripe and not at the level of food. We explained and we are happy to have been honest. Next time we are happy to try a wine pairing without a doubt because the menu was very good.

22/01/2024: Very nice restaurant with an excellent bar next door. The atmosphere was nice, although it was a little quiet for a Friday night, that doesn't bother us as we like privacy, it was possibly due to the time of year. The staff were fantastic. Engaging and thoughtful, making suggestions and recommendations. They were professional and both formal and informal at the right times. We had 8 courses but it seemed like there were much more, the food overall was excellent with two stand out dishes, there was one dish that while nice wasn't as good as the others which is why I've given the food a 4, I guess it's personal taste but I feel in a restaurant like this with what they are aiming for everything should be at that level. A 4.5 would probably be more accurate, great wine list and good cocktails. We recomend this place if you are looking for good food on a special occasion or want to try excellent food and take your time.
