30/03/2024: Great homemade food and very well priced, it gives you a break after how expensive everything is in the rest of the town. We tried the melazzane, the lasagna and for dessert the tiramisu (homemade made to order), all exquisite! Antonio was also very nice, it didn't take long to serve us the food. We were sitting on the terrace, it was a very pleasant night.

08/09/2023: Un posto da dimenticare, proprietario sgarbato sol perche’ ho lamentato che la cotoletta di pollo alla piastra era bruciata e amara di sapore , addirittura si è anche arrabbiato perché ho richiesto un po’ di verdure in più che gli avrei pagato , assurdo , mai successa una cosa simile , non tornerò mai più !!

28/02/2024: It is located on Via Nazionale which makes parking difficult. I purchased the Messina focaccia and found a clear improvement and I must say that the Messina focaccia was well made. I can't judge the rest of their products, but unfortunately I can't recommend it. They only do takeout. Really friendly and helpful staff

05/04/2024: Friendly service, great relaxed atmosphere and tasty sandwiches. Large selection of alcohols. A huge plus is that it is open longer than most pubs in Taormina in the off-season.

29/10/2023: You would be a fool not to visit Casamatta! The staff are absolutely exceptional. Umberto is a very patient and knowledgable sommelier - he let me try multiple wines to ensure I had the glass I loved. Stella makes brilliant sandwiches and is incredibly hospitable. I spent several hours here on my first, second and third night surrounded by locals and soaking up the ambience. I loved it. The bar is owned by Roger - he is tolerable.

30/03/2024: Be che dire di questa pasticceria....semplicemente eccellente lo dimostra la tanta gente che si ferma ogni giorno. Dolci di qualità, ben presentati, un esplosione di gusti e di colori. Per non parlare del locale piccolo ma graziosissimo. Stracongilato non ne rimanete delusi.

04/11/2023: Informal restaurant. Excellent dishes presented with care. I would recommend, especially in dishes with porcini mushrooms and eggs, to present them as simple as possible without too many seasonings or recipes that cover their taste.

20/01/2024: Si sono trasferiti in via Polidoro Carrozza 18, più vicini alla Marina Garibaldi. Bel locale tutto rinnovato e luminoso. Loro sono sempre la coppia vincente: Rachele e Tonino, con l'immancabile Paoletta. Pizze napoletane e siciliane al top nel forno a legna. Primi e secondi piatti a pranzo e a cena. Stasera abbiamo preso antipasto di Tonino: gnocco fritto alle verdure, Stocco alla Messinese e Polpo alla Luciana, dolce e limoncello fatti da Rachele, amaro alle erbe offerto da Tonino. Conto finale per 2 persone: 39 euro Per noi punto di riferimento a Milazzo.

06/04/2024: We had two mixed food plates which were perfect in every way,the tastes were outstanding. Sadly we felt we were over charged for 2 bottles of local beer which cost us €5.00 per bottle but just around the corner at another bar it was only €2.00 per bottle. Just feel if they knew we were tourists and tried it on . Always ask prices first to be sure. We won't return because of this

05/11/2023: Ordino spesso la pizza da asporto qui, scegliendola dal loro comodo menù online (per il cui link bisogna chiedere ai gestori). Le pizze sono tra le più buone mai mangiate, ricchissime di ingredienti (cosa rara!), davvero squisite e con prezzi decisamente competitivi. La consegna è sempre puntualissima. Vi è anche la possibilità di ordinare la pizza senza glutine e, in generale, c'è parecchia attenzione verso chi è celiaco/intollerante al glutine. Nel tempo ho potuto constatare che le granite sono gustose e abbondanti, il gelato delizioso e cremoso, e i dolci sublimi. L'interno del locale è molto ampio, con una grande veranda chiusa sul retro che funge da saletta più appartata. Consiglio caldamente questo locale, una perla rara.

05/04/2024: Wonderful dinner - this place is proof of how you can offer excellent service, good food and wine in a tourist place. We stayed at the hotel and had parmiggiana for dinner, fish balls with orange, fish (llampuga) aeolian style and pistachio tiramisù, all delicious!
