10/03/2024: We found this place by chance while browsing the internet during a stay in Città di Castello. We struggled to find the entrance as it is up a staircase leading down from the main street, no illuminated signs or signs indicating the entrance. Once inside we were amazed by the beauty of the place, the beautifully set tables, perfect order, the beautiful window offering a wonderful panoramic view, both the dishes ordered and the service were excellent, the price was normal based on what we ate. 24/03/2024: On the way back from Ladispoli we stopped to visit Perugia. For lunch we stopped at this very nice restaurant, the staff were very welcoming. We decided to eat some Sushi and tried an ossobuco. Finally we shared a dessert, hazelnut cream with berry sorbet and an almond cramble. Super Well done Super

25/02/2024: We ended up there by chance, without any pretext or expectation, but fate rewarded us with an incredible experience. We weren't very hungry, having just finished two intense days of Umbrian cuisine, we ordered 2 appetizers for two (they deserve an honorable mention) which shocked our palates, the waiter was very kind in recommending them and telling us about them with an enthusiasm that it overwhelmed us, I inserted the photos because the eye also appreciated it (bovine tongue and amberjack head), we then had a mixed sashimi, very good and 2 portions of Uramaki for 8 which (forbid me) not all of the rest, although good and finally a very good sweet. Large selection of wines and very good at drinks too (we bought 3). Total cost €106 for two, well spent. They literally turned our evening around, well done, well done!

03/04/2024: Excellent tiny osteria next to Palazzo Trinci! Starter of really good cured meats and Foligno Easter cake (with cheese) excellent! Maltagliati with rancetto and gnocchi with cheese cream are definitely tasty and super good! Family and friendly atmosphere!

06/09/2023: Livia empfängt ihre Gäste mit Herz und Temperament. Die liebevoll eingerichteten und typischen Appartements laden zum Verweilen ein, die gepflegte Anlage verbreitet einen idyllischen Charakter mit Suchtfaktor: wir kommen wieder. An jedem Morgen wird man gefragt, wie man geschlafen hat und was man plant. Livia und Enzo lassen ihre Gäste Teil ihrer Familie sein und umsorgen sie mit herzlicher Fürsorge. Das Abendessen ist genial und lecker, Livia serviert persönlich die Köstlichkeiten am Tisch und versichert sich stets, ob das Essen passt und schmeckt. Sonderwünsche werden gerne berücksichtigt. Alles in allem: Italienfreunde sind hier goldrichtig. Mille grazie, Livia ed Enzo. PS: der hausgemachte Alloro/Lorbeerschnaps ist ein Gedicht! Die Anfahrt ist abenteuerlich, ist aber jeder Mühe wert.

04/09/2023: Per 5 giorni ci siamo ritornati per il terzo anno consecutivo, sempre a fine agosto: la mia famiglia e, questa volta, anche quella di mia sorella (in autunno, su nostro consiglio, vi aveva felicemente soggiornato pure un'altra mia parente). Noi abbiamo alloggiato nell'appartamento "Lucia" come d'abitudine, l'altra famiglia in quello denominato "Maddalena", due unità abitative molto caratteristiche e confortevoli. Abbiamo poi sempre usufruito della cena e della prima colazione (ottime!), un pomeriggio anche della piscina (ben tenuta). L'Umbria è meravigliosa, Assisi non da meno e l'Oasi Battifoglia giace in un contesto ameno e meraviglioso; ma il vero motivo per cui ci torniamo è la sincera (e rara) ospitalità/accoglienza, impreziosita di vera umanità, dei coniugi Livia ed Enzo: due straordinarie e genuine persone che, anche grazie alla loro lunga esperienza nel settore, ti regalano un soggiorno indimenticabile e personalizzato, accompagnato da splendide conversazioni. Tant'è vero che quando sei in partenza, e percorri la strada sterrata che collega l'agriturismo alla SR444, hai già nostalgia e decidi che prima o poi ci ritornerai. E così è successo anche questa volta.

31/03/2024: Very happy to have followed the indication received from a known person, travelling... local and pleasant environment, good food and value for money. I will return to gradually try the menu items, all inviting to see... including the pizzas and focaccias; having been able to naturally taste "only", as much as possible and even more than possible, in one lunch! Also worth experiencing in the warmer season is the wonderful terrace with a spectacular view of Todi!

09/03/2024: Super, fabulous pizzas, lots of assortment of flavours. They can also be enjoyed inside, the place is very small so you can't always find space; when it heats up, it can also be consumed outside. Parking available around the pizzeria. The pizza is truly special, super recommended!!

02/04/2024: Event booked months in advance for 125 people. We found ourselves with finished wine, a poor second course of meat (each slice of meat divided into four portions), very slow service (an hour between the starters and the first course), a total lack of friendliness and empathy on the part of the restaurateur and the waiters . The contract stipulated for the event was NOT respected with scarcity or total lack of some agreed dishes. Very disappointing restaurant and highly NOT RECOMMENDED!

03/04/2024: Great experience! Friendly and nice owner, expertly cooked dishes. Ascoli style olives, delicious first and second courses! Very honest prices, if you're in these parts it's really worth it! We have been back several times!

01/04/2024: Ambiente informale , spartano ,potrebbe non fare una grandissima impressione al primo impatto ma in fondo è una semplice trattoria ed il proprietario gentile , professionale , cordiale e molto disponibile è una sorta di tutto fare che manda avanti in locale in modo tale da farti sentire subito a proprio agio. Cibo: molto buono , sono vegetariana ho mangiato gli umbricelli ai fungi porcini e le patate al forno, tutto buonissimo, ma anche il mio fidanzato “carnivoro” ha detto che la carne era ottima . Costi piuttosto bassi rispetto alla media che ho visto in giro. Se torniamo in zona torneremo dal Nicco!
