Il banco carne straordinario già alla vista immaginate al palato. Ho la fortuna di aver fatto varie cene è sono state tutte un'esperienza unica. Il proprietario sempre cordiale e attento al cliente.

20/02/2024: It is difficult to find the right words to describe the mystical experience that Gianni and his wife made us live. A lunch that to define as lavish is an understatement: extremely delicious cured meats, handcrafted, porchetta (dreamlike) caciocavallo, bombette, sausages and trotters, livers (memorable), and finally a delicious and succulent rib-eye cut directly at the table. Some of my guests didn't usually eat meat, they even arrived at the end of the (abundant) meal, telling me that they couldn't wait to go back, because the flavors released by the meat and cured meats were authentic and tasty. All washed down obviously with a good sussimaniello, an excellent local wine. Once again a commendable thank you for the kindness of the owners. Until next time, Vincent

22/10/2023: Room located in what looks like a cave, presumably in ancient times it was a stable. A maximum of thirty people can fit there. We ate all types of meat: from tartare to rolls (really very very good) to saltimbocca (I prefer them without pistachio) to steak... We will definitely return, focusing on what I liked best!

09/03/2024: While passing through Corato we wanted to try a meat-based dinner in a "typical" restaurant. The butcher shop with cooking service format is quite widespread in the village, there are several, but on the advice of a friend we went to Rubio's. Once we entered the restaurant we were greeted with a smile by a nice crew, behind the meat counter there was a gentleman who very politely and politely explained to us the different cuts/types of meat and how they were offered and the different specialties. After the selection we sat down at the table and in the space of a few minutes they brought both drinks and food to the table. We liked everything we chose, cooking and seasonings spot on. We spent the right amount in relation to the quality of the meat, the venue, the service and the format. If I return to Corato we will return.

Service was… definitely not with a smile, though I noticed other servers seemed much happier than ours? Mediocre food for non mediocre prices. Skip this place, there’s better in Bergamo.

Mandatory payment with cash equal to €27 per person without knowing the menu, i.e. everything imposed. Very bad.

Good food, with lots of space, from appetizers to first courses, second courses of sliced ​​chicken and beef, to sandwiches, piadinas and deserts. I recommend the very tender straccetti with that golden and crunchy breading that makes them unique.

07/04/2024: The restaurant offers a wide range of combinations of sandwiches, is very clean and has an open kitchen. Possibility of eating gluten-free. After 8pm you often have to wait a little.

08/12/2023: Small sandwich shop in Monopoli. The place has seats that are not cleaned by the staff. Ordering seems well organised, with tickets numbered so you don't necessarily have to wait in line, in my case there was no need as there was no one there. Sandwich + drink + chips €10. The meat is all pre-cooked, who knows for how many hours, but the preparation time of the sandwich is not positively affected, it still takes 10 minutes. The bun is quite large, but in my case the burger was small (maybe 100g or less), greasy and overcooked, full of sauce to cover the flavour, with lettuce cut (poorly) into chunks, green tomatoes and soggy chips and half raw. In short, despite the quality of the meat, defined as local and praised by the owner and some reviews, I can guarantee you that in terms of flavour, cleanliness and cost you eat better in the well-known fastfood restaurant.
