03/03/2024: Se sei alla ricerca della vera cucina calabrese, sei nel posto giusto. La qualità dei prodotti fatti in casa si riscontra immediatamente nei piatti preparati e presentati con antiche ricette. Tutto sublime e abbondante dall'antipasto al dolce. CONSIGLIATISSIMO.

20/01/2024: Posto molto bello, in mezzo alle campagne tra Caulonia marina e Caulonia Superiore. Carino all'interno, molto gentili sia il proprietario che è anche lo chef insieme alla moglie che i ragazzi che servivano ai tavoli. Antipasto spettacolare (consiglio vivamente le frittelle di zucca) se potete ve ne fate portare una porzione a parte, primi e secondi deliziosi così come i dolci fatti in casa. Prezzo giusto per quello che si mangia.

14/11/2023: The place looks welcoming and intimate, it is located among the characteristic streets of Melito P.Salvo, for this reason it does not have a car park, you have to leave your car a few hundred meters further down. The cuisine is traditional and homemade, it does not have menus that can be consulted (both for the choice of foods and for the prices which are not displayed and consultable). The starters, although very simple, lack the typical flavours, nothing exciting. With a local recipe book, you can honestly cook better at home. From the platter of typical cured meats and cheeses " which had neither local cured meats nor local cheeses but supermarket cold cuts and only one type of cheese which was also easily available at the local discount store. The first, macaroni with ragù, ragù made in the best possible way and not very tasty. Excellent orange marmalade tart even if a 5cm square is not enough to even appreciate the flavour. Little choice of wines (those three, four on display do not have prices like everything else) so the prices are currently set by the owner by reading up on the internet! They are not stored in suitable places and therefore their taste and color are affected! All this "nothing much" has an exorbitant cost, you might think that with what you pay for some pasta with sauce, some wine and 4 (tasteless) appetizers you can eat in the best restaurant in Reggio Calabria...( truth) ! Be careful with the wines, even if they tell you a price then at the checkout they will charge you double! So be careful! The other reviews on Tripadvisor labeled it "scam" and they were not wrong. Since I'm a Google local guide, I need to write it down here too, SCAM! never to see each other again.

12/11/2023: Location molto carina, cibo buono, vino della casa non di ns gradimento, chiediamo di sceglierne uno diverso, così ci vengono presentati dei vini imbottigliati di annata tra 2016 2018. I nostri dubbi erano sulla conservazione, essendo non di annata recente (ma questo a prescindere visto che non si trattava di vini a basso costo) e sul prezzo, ma ci viene riferito "che non avremmo litigato che l' Amarone Valpolicella che avevamo scelto andava sui 40 euro". Morale il prezzo di due bottiglie di Amarone Valpolicella conservato a vista, quindi fuori di cantina, di due diverse cantine con annata del 2016 e 2017 (forse 2018 non vorrei sbagliare) li abbiamo pagato 120 euro. Credo che spendendo tale somma la conservazione e il servizio (calici in primis) dovrebbero essere sottintesi, cosa che non è avvenuta. Non voglio aggiungere altro, umanamente deluso e preso in giro.
