05/04/2024: We went tonight for the first time on the recommendation of friends and we have already booked for next Saturday. Extreme kindness of all the staff. You shouldn't be surprised, but today it is increasingly rare to find someone who stops to talk in a friendly manner at the table, who tells you about the dishes in every detail, even the oil they put on your pizza (4 different types of oil based on taste chosen) digestible pizza thanks to special doughs. Good with excellent quality products. Large place with nice details. Prices more than fair. Pleasant discovery 4 km from home! See you soon

26/02/2024: Favoloso! Ho festeggiato qui i 50 anni di mio marito con tanti amici. Il personale super gentile mi ha anche aiutato a fare una sopresa stupenda! Nella sala della macina abbiamo ballato con dj fantastico! Il mangiare davvero ottimo. Tortelli semplicemente favolosi!insomma tutto perfetto. Consiglio vivamente

26/02/2024: Fabulous! I celebrated my husband's 50th birthday here with many friends. The super friendly staff even helped me make a wonderful surprise! In the mill room we danced with a fantastic DJ! The food was really excellent. Simply fabulous tortelli! In short, everything was perfect. I highly recommend

30/03/2024: The food was delicious but the service left a lot to be desired: 1. They didn't ask us the cooking point of the Florentine steak. We also asked for clarification on the weight because the menu simply indicated the price of €60 but they did not clarify that the price was per kilo. They should specify it better. 2. They did not offer us the same desserts that they offered a few minutes later to another table 3. Having a bill of more than 130 euros between us, we would have expected them to invite us to at least a bitter Nothing to say about the quality and goodness of the dishes, but for what we paid we would have expected better attention. To be fair, I thank the owner of the restaurant for the response and I reiterate that I have absolutely nothing to complain about what we ate, it was all delicious, including the Florentine steak which was delicious as it was. I want to underline that my comment was absolutely not about the quality of the food, nor the price. I was simply expecting a little more attention,

30/09/2023: It was a great discovery, for the food, for the place, for the people who welcomed us. I'm vegan and I ate a killer vegan medallion squash. If I ever pass through Pontassieve again I will return. Thank you guys.

17/02/2024: It is the typical country trattoria where you can eat Tuscan dishes, but not only that. Excellent starters with a good choice of first and second courses. The prices are very honest. Definitely worth returning.

02/02/2024: Today we had lunch enjoying the famous spaghetti Vecchia Rufina with Bardiccio, perfect both in cooking and in flavour. Then Florentine steak, good and cooked as tradition dictates.

26/03/2024: I was there with friends for my 40th birthday. I contacted the owner Maurizio with whom we immediately agreed on the time and menu. Very kind!!! I really enjoyed myself, everything was delicious and top quality. Stunning location surrounded by greenery with a spectacular terrace. The internal room is no different. Super recommended.

23/02/2024: We came here on our wine tour we were doing and absolutely loved it. The grounds here are stunning with amazing views. It was also really cool to learn about the history of the building over time and how it became what it is today. The entire staff was super friendly as well. I would highly recommend making a stop here if you're in the area!
