Varied menu, good value for money, portions that satisfy the palate, excellent quality. A note for the service: attentive, kind, discreet staff who take care of the room and contact with the customer. We were very satisfied, it was the place we were looking for.

01/04/2024: Good food, but be careful when ordering off the menu. Giuseppe suggested a fish for two, which we imagined would have a lower value than 2 identical individual dishes (50.00 Euros), which to our surprise we were charged more (60.00 Euros). I thought it was an unethical stance.

30/03/2024: Very friendly staff and excellent food. A great place to stop for dinner if in San Gimignano or the surrounding area. Really excellent.

30/03/2024: Magnificent structure, it seems that time has stopped in the Collegiate. We were able to relax like nowhere else. Special thanks to the staff, Stefano was always available for every request and the breakfast was simply divine. We can't wait to return!

31/03/2024: Excellent sandwiches. As for wines, I recommend the Vernaccia Selection, the others are too acidic for my tastes. After a tasting of a trio (blend, Chianti, Vernaccia Riserva) I left the place with an acidity in my stomach that I'm not used to. Bicarbonate is not included in the trio, unfortunately.

17/12/2023: Piccola bruschetteria nella parte storica di San Gimignano. Locale molto accogliente con pochissimi posti a sedere che offre un ottima varietà di vini accompagnati da bruschette di assoluta qualità. Abbiamo optato per la degustazione che permette di scegliere 5 bruschette a testa diverse: una più buona dell'altra. Menzione d'onore per la bruschetta con la lingua e quella con la salsiccia. Personale gentile e cordiale e prezzo in linea con la qualità degli ingredienti.

Locale elegante, con alcuni dettagli che rovinano la bellezza del posto (tanti ventilatori, che immagino necessari nel periodo estivo). Piatti molto curati: noi abbiamo preso una tagliata che si scioglieva in bocca, ma i cappellacci niente di eccezionale. Per concludere un tiramisù che ci ha lasciato l’amaro in bocca. Conto alto rispetto a quanto mangiato.

Food averagely good. Nice place.

10/05/2024: A good address in San Geminiano. The place can be a bit noisy when it's crowded. The pizzas are good, the meat tender and the pasta tasty. The desserts are generous.

31/10/2023: Located at a little corner, La Biscondola serves up simple Italian fare. We visited after lunchtime and it was one of the few eateries still open and taking customers. Food was great overall, the vibes were good, service was prompt and friendly. As we were sharing a pasta, the crew even portioned out the pasta proactively before serving. Recommended if you are around the area!
