28/03/2024: We were well welcomed in this well decorated restaurant. The service was very kind and helpful. All dishes tasted were well prepared and tasty. The price was fair and average for the area.

24/03/2024: They welcomed us with a smile and kindness even though there were 8 of us and it was after 10.30pm... the owners were very kind and friendly and the food was excellent

31/03/2024: Easter 2024. Villa Excelsa always remains a guarantee in the Salento gastronomic panorama. On the day of celebration and with the restaurant rooms full Mino and his staff do not disappoint... quality and quantity at a truly incredible cost. The tasty notes of the sea combined with the flavors of the earth with a chromatic touch from the chef gave us an Easter lunch with all the trimmings. Well done guys, keep it up. *****

22/03/2024: Everything is excellent, but the bathrooms that open and close ONLY ELECTRICALLY absolutely NOT. If you are not claustrophobic you become claustrophobic, if you already are, you directly DIE.

06/02/2024: Pizza restaurant known for a dinner with friends in the lower Salento. The restaurant is really very large and crowded in high season, but it is located in a fairly desolate area and certainly boasts a beautiful view of the sea during the day. We ate some pizzas and shared some chips while waiting. I must admit that the pizzas are good both in the dough and in the ingredients used. However, paying an average of €15/16 for a pizza seems to me, with all my good will, to be a mistake. Unfortunately, skyrocketing inflation in 2023 has also arrived due to these irregular increases by too many merchants. Since there are no rules in the free market, it would be desirable for restaurateurs, merchants and sellers in general to operate conscientiously, but unfortunately this seems like a utopia in much of Italy.

25/12/2023: Clean and airy environment, good food and service too, it's worth trying again.

03/04/2024: Courteous and helpful staff, wide choice of products, good coffee, good pastries, excellent for an aperitif and choice of Swiss products. I advise!

01/03/2024: Met almost by chance, and it was a wonderful surprise! Owners very available for any request and patient to advise, I celebrated my birthday with abundant courses and a festive atmosphere, and then karaoke and guaranteed fun!! We had a great time!

03/04/2024: A place with attention to the smallest details, in a slightly industrial style, perhaps to recall what the place was originally. The staff is courteous, present throughout the stay despite the place being full and available to satisfy customer requests. They have a varied menu, different types of pizza dough. I ordered a Margherita, light dough not with high edges like I like but still good. Good price quality. They also have an outdoor room, which I haven't had the pleasure of accessing yet but it seems really welcoming and I will be back to have this pleasure.

31/03/2024: Very large and very beautiful place in terms of aesthetics, it seems to have been a tannery historically, the star vaults blend perfectly with the modern style of the furnishings. Both internal and external room for summer evenings. Easy to find outdoor parking. I had the opportunity to taste a mixed fruit which was excellent but in my opinion a little poor, we could be more daring. The pizza I asked for with double mozzarella was good but my request was not granted. The place is suitable for groups of people and why not also for celebrating events. The staff were very helpful and friendly, very fast perhaps a little too much as it was Saturday and it was packed. I recommend it during the days of the week with less chaos. Until next time. 06/04/2024: Oasis among the Alimini!!! Very easy place to reach, although close to the main street, it enjoys privacy and a unique atmosphere🤩🤩🤩 Immersed in nature, it feels like being in an exclusive destination where you can enjoy one of the most beautiful places in Salento in total relaxation. And then the kitchen. Spectacular. Traditional but also refined dishes, excellent raw materials. Very nice restaurant and excellent value for money!!! Highly recommended

19/03/2024: Nice atmosphere, it feels like being with a family, but according to my taste the pizzas aren't that great and neither are the desserts, the first courses and starters are good. Prices are normal

27/04/2024: I don't eat dairy products so going for a pizza, for me, is always a lottery because you eat a pizza "poor" in one main topping. Instead, I have to say that this pizza, porcini mushrooms, sausage and chopped pistachios on a quality base was really good. Table service was quite fast and the staff were friendly.

21/04/2024: I start with the premise that I fully understand that it was Saturday and peak time BUT We arrive at 9.00 pm as booked, we order around 9.10 pm (calling the waiter for us otherwise who knows when he would have come) the place has few tables so I wasn't expecting a long wait and instead after three quarters of an hour at 9.50pm the "acceptable" pizzas arrive, light dough but absolutely not Neapolitan, so if you are looking for a Neapolitan pizzeria this is definitely not it. I'm only sorry for the staff who are approachable, kind and polite. I positively appreciated the fact that each table was sanitized with Napisan; another positive note is the fairly modest prices compared to other pizzerias.

04/03/2024: Really good pizzas, both normal and gluten-free, classic location, nothing special, small room with few seats, which is why a maximum time is given to eat at the table, otherwise nothing to say, pizzas all arrived together (including gluten-free ) and above all, both the dough and the ingredients are delicious. Recommended, even for takeaway.
