24/03/2024: We passed by them on a Sunday, my lunch was fish, I had meat, wonderful and tasty cavatielli, entrecote without words, perfectly cooked... We will be back often

01/04/2024: Stunning location surrounded by greenery and surrounded by majestic centuries-old trees. In this restaurant you eat very well and the owner is kind and friendly as is the staff. Abundant and satisfying Easter Monday lunch, ample parking.

16/03/2024: Cozy and comfortable environment, it almost felt like being at home. A mood, in fact elegant and at the same time homely, made the evening truly pleasant. What about food!? Served in a gourmet manner, of excellent quality, that's why I can say that it was a delight for the eyes and palate. Dishes taken and recommended... aubergine rolls (an indescribable delight) with prawn fritters, delicate and tasty. The golosone tagliatelle are excellent and the chickpea cream with prawns and octopus is tasty. For the wine we chose one of the house rosé...excellent because in the end it didn't cause heartburn. But the icing on the cake was the tiramisu made with only mascarpone.......it was supposed to be a taste......we devoured it all. The photos are missing because everything was too inviting to waste time taking photographs.....for next time 🤪😋..... Very kind and smiling staff

Andare alla Locanda è un'esperienza completa dei sensi ed una scoperta culturale nello sviluppo della ricerca dei prodotti autoctoni reinterpretati con tantissima e profonda sapienza. Si viene accolti con sincera attenzione e serietà, accompagnati in un percorso di estasi dei sapori con l'intenzione dichiarata di proporre un'esperienza diversa e consapevole che la qualità si possa raggiungere con umiltà e dedizione. La Locanda è un rifugio per la mente e per il cuore, lontana dalla banalità del conformismo e forte della cultura della tradizione ionica. Esperienza unica! Un eremo che custodisce il vero piacere e si pone come baluardo culturale, perché anche così si fa cultura prendendo spunto dalla nostra storia e dalla forza delle idee vere.

25/02/2024: Al rientro da un viaggio in macchina, avevamo voglia di pranzare in un ristorante tipico le specialità dello stocco a Mammola ma non trovando posto da nessuna parte ho iniziato a scorrere la lista dei ristoranti a Mammola e tra questi mi è apparso il nome di questo locale. Il numero delle recensioni non era notevole ma erano tutte positive e le foto molto accattivanti. Abbiamo chiamato ed abbiamo trovato posto per una casualità: la disdetta di due persone. La strada per arrivare è la tipica strada di montagna: stretta e piena di tornanti. Per un attimo abbiamo pensato di tornare indietro ma abbiamo deciso di proseguire. Arrivati lì, ancora perplessi, scesi dall' auto ci siamo calati in una realtà che dava il senso di genuino. L' odore della legna bruciata mista all' umidità, l'odore di erba bagnata ed un paesaggio fatto di sempreverde e casette in pietra. Il ristorante è accogliente, i proprietari disponibili, sorridenti e gentili ci hanno accompagnato in un percorso culinario dove i sapori,dati da ciò che quella terra vergine, si sposano creando un finale "da Gourmet". Mai vi saremmo immaginati di trovare classe, originalità e gusto in un ristorante che avremmo immaginato fosse come tutte le trattorie tipiche dei posti di Montagna. Un posto assolutamente da consigliare. Un posto sicuramente dove andare, dove nulla viene lasciato al caso. Un posto da scoprire e da lodare. I nostri più vivi complimenti. Torneremo ed anche per dormire per vivere appieno ed ampliare la nostra esperienza che sarà senz'altro indimenticabile.

30/03/2024: In this restaurant I really appreciated the paccheri with cod, olives and capers but above all the fried cod, sponged to perfection and prepared by expert hands. The appetizer with typical products is also excellent. Fast and professional service. Good quality-price ratio. The restaurant is located in a panoramic point and, while eating, you can enjoy the view of the sea.

05/04/2024: The restaurant offers excellent quality meat, cooked in an excellent way and accompanied by carefully selected wines to best enhance the flavors of the dishes. The desserts are exquisite and the service is impeccable. The owner stands out for his courtesy and passion for his work and manages to convey his enthusiasm to customers. The atmosphere is very welcoming. I highly recommend this place which was a pleasant discovery for me. I felt pampered and at home, thanks also to the young boy who took the orders and brought the dishes, he was very attentive and well prepared, able to advise based on one's personal tastes. It is clear that the staff has solid, previous work experience in the sector. It was an impeccable gastronomic and service experience, compliments to all the restaurant staff for their education and quality of the products offered. Prices commensurate with the service and dishes served. We will return many more times, I can say that it is a must when you come to Tropea!

16/03/2024: Uma surpresa muito agradável encontrar esse restaurante aqui em Tropea, estava com saudade de uma boa picanha e me senti no Brasil ao comer aqui. O ambiente é acolhedor, sentamos ao lado da lareirau e fomos muito bem atendidos. A comida veio rápido e estava deliciosa, recomendo a todos!!

26/03/2024: A very pleasant surprise. We found it by chance together with my wife. A place abroad that is far from welcoming, but very often it is the first step towards eating and feeling great. The guys in the room are kind young people and you can see from 1000 km how they care about everything working well. The food is really of excellent quality (I ate a fantastic podolica tart), mushroom pasta with a truly remarkable aroma and flavour. Potatoes, sausage, Caciocavallo, top... in short, we are still 2 steps away from Sila and these dishes are a must here. Black pig with pistachio to eat and eat and eat again! 😁 Super highly recommended

23/03/2024: The Calabrian cuisine that everyone likes Welcoming environment and typical cuisine that makes you feel at home. Selected local raw materials, such as black pig cured meats and Silani cheeses. The chef's rigatoni with sausage, mushrooms and Nduja are superlative, as is the Mpacchiuse potato pie, sausage and caciocavallo Silano DOP. The pizza is very good, simple without creating pizzas with three thousand ingredients on it.
