12/09/2025: Me and my husband had the pleasure of enjoying a dinner here. It was for both of us the first time in a starred restaurant ⭐️ I was a bit anxious as I didn’t know what to expect, however the experience was fabulous. We have been welcomed warmly and before sitting to our table we have been shown the wines cellars, which was absolutely incredible 🍷 We opted for the tasting menu parried with the wines. Evert single course was an experience, an incredible journey into food and wine, flavour you would not even imagine to taste: excellent! The service was spot on, to the top standards but still with a warm approach ❤️ Last but not least: Mr. Mario and his wife, walking around the tables to welcome their guests and making sure they truly feel welcome, almost like a family 🥹 Thanks to everyone who has been around us and to everyone working behind the scenes creating such beautiful memories in people. If I would ever get the chance I would definitely go back and I can only recommend the place. Thank you for the memories you have created!

Each time, they amaze us with new offerings, sophisticated and refined flavors, and unexpected pairings that captivate those who love culinary innovation. A sensory journey that engages and surprises, accompanied by a simply excellent selection of wines. Il Rudere is much more than a restaurant: it's an experience that leaves its mark, every time. For us, it's simply home. A safe haven where we can retreat whenever we want to delight our palate with exciting seafood cuisine.

11/09/2025: We decided to book a dinner reservation for my birthday at this fantastic restaurant, not knowing it and relying solely on the reviews we'd read. What can I say...it was a MAGICAL evening! We tried the "rudere" appetizer and the tuna tartare, which were highly recommended. I've never had tuna this good! The first courses were spectacular, offering an explosion of flavor from the first bite. My compliments to the chef and the waiter, who was super kind and courteous, ready to explain each course he served. Thank you both for a fantastic evening! Prices were average. See you next time!!

13/09/2025: This was our fifth visit and it’s only gotten better each time. I’m amazed how they are able to maintain the heritage and authenticity of the property, while constantly re-investing and ensuring it has all the modern amenities one would need. They are not resting on their laurels. Moreover, there is an incredible continuity to the staff - you will see the same people each time you return, which makes it feel very comfortable and every single dept in the hotel is five stars. O

The greenery outside is well-kept and there is a large parking lot. Every dish has a taste of freshness and quality... I highly recommend this place ANTICO PONTE...

15/07/2025: Un ristorante assolutamente fantastico, la villa offre un'esperienza magica sotto forma di ottimo cibo, servizio di livello mondiale e un ambiente che ha confezionato tutto alla perfezione. Grazie per l'ottima cena 🙏

13/07/2025: La location all'interno di un antico palazzo è davvero affascinante. Pranziamo all'esterno in un ampio cortile rivestito d'edera su tutti i lati con tavoli abbastanza distanti tra loro e senza avvertire la calura esterna. Disponibili più degustazioni con un ampia possibilità di scelta considerato anche che i prezzi "alla carta" non sono esagerati. Selezioniamo proprio dalla carta ed iniziamo con il mosaico di tonno e ricciola marinati alla panzanella; è la composizione di tonno e ricciola a colpire l'occhio ma è il fantastico condimento della panzanella ad innestare le marce alte del gusto. Proseguiamo con la linguina con crema ai ricci di mare, cipollotto arrostito e polvere di nduja. Mescoliamo il tutto e la prima cosa che sentiamo è il cipollotto, buono, non eccezionale, ma non appena alla forchettata successiva peschiamo i ricci ecco che la soddisfazione è piena. Finora tutto bene ma è coì secondi che la cucina si esalta: sia l'"omaggio a Jackson Pollock", ovvero un filetto di rombo ricoperto da un velo di seppia con spuma di fagioli, spinaci, e chips al nero di seppia, sia l'agnello come un peperone “mbuttunat” sono di alto livello. L'omaggio a Pollock non è un semplice mix di ingredienti ma un insieme ben bilanciato dove ogni cosa ha motivo di esserci. L'agnello, con perfetta cottura, è semplicemente tra i più buoni mai assaggiati. Il piatto per cui ritornare. Si chiude con il gelato al provolone del monaco, una sorpresa per chi cerca qualcosa di nuovo ma, attenzione, non un dolce...dolce. Freschissima la "Green Experience" ovvero panna cotta al basilico, gelato al tè matcha, e schiuma di latte croccante. Da una carta dei vini con ricarichi ragionevoli scegliamo una bollicina: Albino Armani Trento Dosaggio Zero “Clè”, piacevole per l'intero pasto. Servizio veloce ed adeguato. Prezzi nella norma, buoni rispetto a location e qualità della cucina.

30/09/2025: Simply the best restaurant in Sorrento and the surrounding area. Excellent use of raw ingredients, meticulous attention to detail in the plating, and excellent service (the restaurant's flagship). Giampiero and his staff make this place truly unique.

30/09/2025: The presentation of the dishes was beautiful, and the olive ice cream palate cleanser was a standout—truly delicious. Our favorite dish was the pork cheek, which was tender and flavorful. The staff was attentive, though they seemed a bit burned out? While the plating was elegant, some dishes were slightly too salty and lacked the depth or wow factor you'd expect from a Michelin-level experience. Overall, the meal felt like it was missing a bit of the passion and joy that typically defines high-end dining. Thus 4 stars instead of a 5.

10/09/2025: We were warmly welcomed when we arrived 15 minutes before the restaurant opened (in true British style 🤣!) and our experience was superb. The food was delicious and clearly made from high quality ingredients with thoughtful touches from the chef, like splitting our first course onto two plates so we could share without us having to ask. Our waiters were friendly and made our last evening in Piano memorable. Grazie mille! P.S. The Tiramisu was the best I've had here in Sorrento over the last week! Buonissimo!!

08/09/2025: My partner and I went, and we tried conchiglioni and gnocchi. Both dishes were very good. The conchiglio didn't fill me up, but it was definitely delicious.

29/09/2025: Yesterday was a delightful evening for my mother's birthday, in a very family-friendly atmosphere. The owners, Gabriele and his wife, were extremely kind and attentive, supported by a patient and attentive staff who responded to our every request. The food was excellent! They demonstrated great professionalism and attention to food intolerances. Highly recommended!

14/09/2025: Today we had lunch at the "Radis Trattoria Moderna" restaurant in San Prisco. The welcome was perfect: friendly, polite but not pretentious, the service familiar but not intrusive. You immediately feel at ease. The decor is relaxing, understated, and refined at the same time. The interior dining room and garden offer generous seating arrangements. Each table feels like a separate island. We chose to sit in the garden. The background music was light and pleasant. The dishes were exquisite, starting with the appetizer. The light fried anchovies were also delicious; I also tried the stuffed ones my son chose: delicate; the pinsa with chili peppers, soft and tasty; the paccheri with cherry tomatoes and cod, cooked to perfection, with a perfect balance of flavors; the Radis tiramisu, soft as a cloud, a true delight. The products used are all top-quality, otherwise the chef's undoubted skill in making every dish tasty and light would not have been enough. Prices: completely reasonable and appropriate for the offerings. A couple of friends came to visit us, and we wanted to make a good impression. We succeeded. The cuisine, passionately curated by the husband-and-wife team, is delicate, authentic, and based on genuine local products. The decor is understated and meticulously crafted. An unforgettable experience combining beauty, hospitality, and authentic flavors.

07/09/2025: Fantastic experience, we have been there twice during our 6 days stay at Sorrento. It is a family run business, with so cozy atmosphere, outstanding cuisine, interesting selection of local wines and digestives of own preparation. The owner of the restaurant Albino was so attentive and made our visits to this venue unforgettable gastronomic experience. Wish to return to this place again in the future when succeed to get to Amalfi coast again.
