10/05/2024: We ordered takeout at the counter. Federica was terrific and she suggested a tortellini with parsley sage in light cream sauce with Parmesan. We sat outside under a portico since line to dine in. Dine in line seemed to move quickly though. Pasta was fresh hot delicious. Federica even added second piece of bread. We loved it and cannot wait to return to dine in. We had just arrived to Bologna and our first stop here made us feel very welcomed.

30/04/2024: Good food, courteous and punctual service. I didn't get 4 stars because I thought it was a little expensive. there is a wine list and there are also some organic choices, the interesting Lambrusco is very full-bodied, bitter and not very carbonated. good and classic tortelli. interesting are a couple of second courses, the sheep barzigole and the rabbit, not always easy to find on the menu. for the first time I tried the good and abundant barzigole, well cooked and tasty, but the side dish was not up to par. the ricotta, hazelnut, chocolate and I don't remember what else cake was good but a little too "dry", a shame. overall the cuisine is not heavy and not greasy, but in any case (maybe because when I'm out I like to eat) I got up from the table still feeling a little peckish... nice environment and overall, despite the good number of guests, not noisy , and that's good. worth revisiting to try the lasagna or tortellini and the rabbit

30/04/2024: Certainly, and for a long time, one of the best venues in the city and the nearby areas. To find cuisine of this level, you have to go up towards the Apennines. Excellent quality dumplings and tortelli. Asparagus risotto worth a try. Well cooked barzigole and second courses. Excellent and easy-going service. Definitely worth trying. Also recommended for those coming from outside Reggio.

12/05/2024: We were passing through and had a great meal! The place is well furnished, the staff is kind and attentive. The owners are very helpful and polite. The dishes are home made, simple and tasty, created with excellent choice raw materials, the ragù is worth it 💯 We will definitely be back.

30/03/2024: Nice trattoria convenient to the motorway exit. Excellent service with a mixture of grilled meat and vegetables, good but it could have been better. The desserts, on the other hand, were inedible, the mascarpone tasted like nothing, I don't know what it was.

29/03/2024: Nice place, nice parking, but the food is from a company canteen. Tortellini and cutlet of poor quality, ditto the soft and rubbery fried potatoes. Heavy bill, too bad. We won't be returning.

12/05/2024: Starters, first courses, second courses and desserts: excellent, as was the welcome and service. The wine selection is also excellent.

08/05/2024: I went today for a family lunch in this Italian excellence. Morel lasagna (house specialty) and fillet with balsamic vinegar (produced on site) truly exceptional! Even the side dishes with a note of merit to the roasted potatoes... an environment where you can breathe history and every detail is perfect, cared for and refined. There is a big one however (at least today) desserts definitely not at the level of the place, service (also excellent) and the rest of the courses. I come from a family of pastry chefs with over 50 years of experience so I am certainly influenced by this but today the dessert trolley consisted of a bavarois based on pavesini, a chocolate pudding, crème caramel, trifle... rice cake (it looked like a rice flan soaked in egg and sugar and perhaps sambuca) and a sort of sacher (simple sponge cake glazed with chocolate without anything else... vegetable cream aside)... everything is perfect right down to the desserts, definitely not at the level of everything the rest…

30/03/2024: Genuine cuisine. The pumpkin and green tortelli are delicious. And when the waiter presents you with the cart you are spoiled for choice.

08/05/2024: An exciting experience (not just gastronomic). Enchanting place (on the floodplain), extremely fascinating historic building renovated with skill, comfortable rooms capable of making you dive into history and make you feel like a true aristocrat. The inebriating scent of cured meats and cheese wafts up from the cellars (a must-visit). High-level cuisine capable of combining territoriality, quality, technique and substance. Excellent welcome and helpfulness also from the host Massimo Spigaroli. The cooking class organized for guests who can try their hand at cooking of undoubted skill is truly interesting and educational.

05/04/2024: Italian restaurant just outside the historic center of Persiceto, visited on several occasions. The place offers both a menu of purely traditional recipes and a series of proposals where you experiment a little more and/or use non-local ingredients. During my visits I have tried both things and always found it good, particularly with the first courses. Even the slightly more original dishes often had a truly interesting outcome! Often a small welcome snack is provided, at the table there is also a basket with various types of bread in small loaves. The environment is organized into 3/4 internal or external rooms, it is informal and without excess. The staff in general are ok, occasionally they can run into some little things but nothing that should preclude an absolutely positive experience. Fair price for what is offered. In addition to the restaurant, there is also a rotisserie side where you can buy ready-made take away food or even freshly cooked first courses to take away as soon as they come out of the pan. Recommended for everyone!

04/04/2024: Finally a cuisine without a "masterchef in the head": simple but well made, excellent, plentiful and also economical. Only the service was a little "rough"... but a bad day happens to everyone. Well done "Officina del gusto"

31/03/2024: Wonderful place. A villa surrounded by greenery despite being in a town. Well-kept environment. Impeccable service and staff always smiling and ready to respond courteously and quickly to every request. Dishes with attention to the smallest details where tradition and innovation marry perfectly. I really appreciated the choice to make the most of local products and the choice of wines that puts our wines first, which are usually a little snubbed in many other wine lists. The dessert portions are a little generous. My sorbet was spectacular. I liked everything.

07/05/2024: We went here because it was supposed to be open in the afternoon, but unfortunately there was no chef in the restaurant. Big disappointment.

05/05/2024: Excellent restaurant and food!! Fantastic price quality! There were 17 of us and we had a blast at lunch. Special thanks to the picturesque and cheerful waiter who made us laugh a lot 😂😂😂
