07/04/2024: Last meal of our Tuscany trip, and could have been one of our best. Simple honest, yet wonderful food. Had the pleasure of meeting the cook, whose daughter was our waiter. A great experience, very welcoming.

01/04/2024: Consumption, Easter lunch, fixed menu 50 euros, not all the courses arrived, I had to close the mixed roast and only a few pieces of cold chicken arrived, we also had to ask for coffee, chaos with waiters, 0 organization . VOTE 4

01/04/2024: An extraordinary restaurant with excellent cuisine and extremely friendly service. Local cuisine at the highest level. We have been here several times and are always thrilled. The Bisteka Fiorentina was delicious again. Highly recommended.

01/04/2024: The place itself is not particularly characteristic or beautiful. Even the route to reach the bathroom passing next to the kitchen is not the best, you feel a little out of place along the way. Despite this, it is necessary to underline the quality of the food, the goodness of the dishes and the courtesy of the staff, foreigners who serve at the table but Tuscans who work in the kitchen, a guarantee.

30/03/2024: After 7 years of frequent trips to San Gimignano we discovered this restaurant and it was a wow experience. Great service and food, nice location and atmosphere. A must try is home made pasta (I had the one with saffron), delicious appetizers also and great wine. A nice experience, to be repeated.

24/03/2024: I've been missing for a while.....arriving from the Cateni means arriving with family, you are welcomed, celebrated and pampered. The quality of the food at their place is always a certainty, and then it happens that you find a gem, this time it was the miles. A scent, a flavour, a goodness that took me back to childhood and happiness when my grandmother put them on the table!!!! Thank you for being there, and thank you, while rightly seeking some innovation, for maintaining the cuisine which is heart and tradition

05/04/2024: Order the Pici al ragu bianco di cinta senese is an unmissable dish: the pici is a type of fat spaghetti, made handmade and typical of Tuscany, served in this if applicable, with ragu bianco (without tomato) from local pig, the so-called cinta senese, known for its intense flavor and succulent meat

01/04/2024: We stopped here for lunch whilst exploring Siena and had a great meal in the alley outside of the restaurant. We tried the cheese tarte as an appetizer and the ossobucco and pork pan as a main dish and everything was excellent.

02/04/2024: We arrived without booking and within an aperitif the long table was set for us in the first of the two rooms available in the restaurant, which is warm and welcoming. The second room, overlooking a small external window, is perhaps even more characteristic and intimate. The owners welcomed us with kindness and helpfulness and followed us in choosing the menu: we had tagliolini with pheasant ragù and a cheek stew, both very tasty and accompanied by excellent wine. We had a good time and honestly, despite some reviews perhaps saying so, I didn't really have the feeling of a place "for tourists", but rather it seemed like a place where the traveler can refresh himself and taste traditional local recipes with the certainty of being pampered. Thanks for the nice experience.

31/03/2024: Oh my gosh this place is amazing! We were looking for something for dinner and this restaurant was suggested to us. We weren’t sure at first because the menu looked a little fancy for what we were looking for, but this was some of the best food I’ve had in a long time. The group of us had a couple pasta dishes including beef ragu, bean soup, and a few desserts. Everything was spectacular and probably the ragu might be the best pasta dish I’ve ever tasted. The environment was lovely and the staff was so kind to us. Definitely coming back for more! There is a free parking lot below the restaurant that made it easy to walk to as well.

04/04/2024: The restaurant was super busy and we had no reservation. But they still accommodated us and tried their best to make us feel welcome. The food was fantastic — outperforming expectations, actually, which were already high. A very special and cozy place.

02/04/2024: Very small portions about the size of an appetizer. Nothing special in terms of taste either. The music in the background didn't fit the ambience either (alternating classical, rock, hip/hop). Service was OK. Parking costs an additional €3 per hour.
