02/05/2024: Trattoria as they once were with a fixed price and menu. The road to the ancient village of Pereta is absolutely worth it. True Maremma cuisine: 3 starters 3 first courses Sorbet 2 seconds sweet grappa and coffee logically water and house wine all for €25. I prefer not to describe the dishes (it would be diminutive) because you have to savor them and eat them, they are truly fantastic. We were really happy to have followed the advice of the baker from Orbetello.

29/04/2024: Typical Tuscan tavern. The food is excellent and the service exceptional, the environment is warm and welcoming. Prices more than reasonable. Absolutely recommended!

05/04/2024: We went for dinner, what can I say, delicious dishes, really good food, use of top quality raw materials. We were 3 colleagues at dinner, as a starter they took the black crostini, very good and with a generous portion, I took a pumpkin soup, which although not in season I found very good, but the best part comes with the second courses, a cut of meat per person, exceptional meat, huge portions here too, what can I say, we had a great time. The quality/price ratio is also excellent. We will definitely return when we pass through Arezzo again. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

28/03/2024: Extraordinary place, in a stunning setting among the Tuscan hills, it's like a hidden gem. The food is very elaborate, delicious and made of local ingredients! Every little bite takes you to another place of the region. From the salt of Volterra, through a fresh virgin oil, to the local Marzuolo truffles. The service is amazing - a cherry on the cake. Definitely we'll come back!

10/05/2024: Unfortunately, this is a total tourist trap. I followed the reviews on Google and it sounded like an authentic Tuscan meal, but this restaurant is geared toward serving tourists, specifically Americans. We had many meals throughout Florence and Tuscany that were truly authentic, but I would describe this as the type of Tuscan restaurant you can find in New Jersey. The food isn’t bad it’s just average and very clichéd. There’s very little in terms of homestyle or creative Tuscan cuisine on the menu. It was also missing a little things like the balsamic vinaigrette was something that you could buy at an American grocery store and not what you would expect in Florence. The staff does a great job and no issues with the service at all. Interestingly, it was the most expensive meal we had in Italy, while also being the least memorable.

09/05/2024: We went looking for another place that we couldn't find. We liked it from the outside and even though we didn't have a reservation, they treated us wonderfully. Very friendly. The food was great and we didn't find it expensive. Highly recommended

31/03/2024: Trattoria restaurant in Montebeni, Florence. Typical Florentine cuisine. Generous portions. Tullio's appetizer and fried steak were excellent. Seeing is believing. Good price. Attentive but easy-going service, with some joking jokes that never hurt...seeing is believing

07/04/2024: Second time we went for lunch and second magnificent experience! Omelette with onions as a starter, potato tortelli with ragu (exceptional!), delicious half carbonara, lamb (I've never heard of lamb like this!) And sliced! The desserts are also excellent! The owners love what they do, and you can feel the passion and research for the raw material. We'll be back soon!

07/04/2024: My husband and I have lived in Florence for 5 years. We came to Maga Mago the first time in February 2024 and were surprised! The dishes are exquisite! The omelette is truly special, the lamb is wonderful, the boiled meatballs are something extraordinary and the half carbonara is delicious! Top service and dogs are welcome! If you are in Florence, come for lunch or dinner, you will eat amazingly for sure!

01/04/2024: We went to this restaurant with two little girls. Location surrounded by greenery, the restaurant inside is also very nice. Really excellent food from starters, to first courses (with homemade pasta), to meat. Excellent service. Everyone is very kind and ready to solve every need, even for the little ones. If we were to return to these areas, we will certainly return. Excellent value for money.

30/03/2024: Very nice and pleasant place! Helpful staff and I might seem weird, but I ate some sautéed spinach that amazed me! From simple things you understand the quality of the raw material and here it is all there! The only "unforgivable" flaw for me is the wine list. A place like this is right to have few references, but there could be a little more work which would certainly make much more!

24/03/2024: If you are looking for a tavern where you can rediscover genuine flavors without many frills, you have arrived. Homely atmosphere, friendly service, and simple food cooked well, pici or tortelli, farmyard fried or sliced, you always fall on your feet. And don't be upset if they don't have 'important' wines or labels, relax and enjoy lunch!
