The food is unquestionable, dishes are always special and elaborated just right, lately an alchemy of flavors that has left me pleasantly surprised. The wine list is not even discussed, always at the top for every need. But what pleased us most in the last two evenings is the New Entry in the room. A new waitress whose name unfortunately I don't remember, Barese, extremely professional, friendly and full of attention towards the customer, something that perhaps was a little lost in the restaurant. Which never hurts in a restaurant of this level, he always has a smile on his face, well done! You can see that she enjoys her work and does it with passion. One more reason to continue frequenting the Magdalener which, together with the renewed menu, have given a breath of fresh air to the place Andrea Lorandi

10/01/2024: Non posso che elogiare l'hotel in montagna in cui io e la mia famiglia abbiamo soggiornato durante la mia ultima vacanza. Sin dal momento in cui sono entrata, ho avuto l'impressione di essere accolto in un'oasi di tranquillità e bellezza. La struttura è immersa in un paesaggio mozzafiato, circondata da maestose montagne e rigogliosi boschi. Le camere erano spaziose, confortevoli e arredate con gusto. Ho apprezzato particolarmente la vista panoramica sulla città di Bolzano. Il personale dell'hotel è stato estremamente cordiale e disponibile. La cucina dell'hotel era semplicemente deliziosa. Ho avuto l'opportunità di gustare piatti tradizionali preparati con ingredienti freschi e di alta qualità. Ogni pasto era un'esperienza culinaria unica, che mi ha fatto apprezzare ancora di più la cultura e la tradizione locali. In conclusione, il mio soggiorno presso questo hotel in montagna è stato semplicemente perfetto. Ho trascorso giornate indimenticabili immerso nella natura, coccolato dal comfort dell'hotel e viziato dalla squisita cucina. Consiglio vivamente questa struttura a chiunque desideri vivere un'esperienza unica e indimenticabile in montagna.

10/01/2024: Abbiamo avuto il piacere di cenare in un tradizionale ristorante tra le montagne del Colle e siamo rimasti estasiati dall'esperienza culinaria. Il menu offriva una vasta selezione di piatti raffinati e creativi, che hanno soddisfatto ogni nostro desiderio gastronomico. Dall'antipasto al dolce, ogni portata era una delizia per i sensi. La carta dei vini era altrettanto impressionante, con una selezione eccezionale di etichette provenienti da diverse regioni vinicole e soprattutto del posto. Abbiamo optato per un vino rosso corposo e aromatico, che si è rivelato il perfetto accompagnamento per i nostri piatti. Il capo sala era molto preparato e ci ha consigliato abbinamenti perfetti per ogni portata. Oltre alla qualità del cibo e dei vini, l'atmosfera del ristorante era incantevole. La vista panoramica sulle montagne e sulla città di Bolzano e l'arredamento altoatesino hanno reso la cena ancora più romantica. Il personale era cortese e attento, garantendo un servizio impeccabile.

01/04/2024: We went here for breakfast with friends for my wife's birthday. The service was super friendly and relaxed. We found the birthday card with chocolate very thoughtful. And the breakfast for two people was also great. We found the prices to be very fair. A bottle of Prosecco for €27 and it was really good too. We'd love to come back when we're in Bolzano again.

04/02/2024: With the occasion of our anniversary on February 3rd we decided to celebrate in the restaurant on the go. Very refined and elegant place, refined and refined furnishings! The best thing, which is not always found in starred restaurants, is that chef Melis himself presents and serves the dishes. Great lover of cuisine and always looking for new challenges and dishes. It uses the highest quality ingredients and raw materials, dedicating a unique and rare research to finding them! Exquisite dishes that take you on a true journey of tastes and flavours, even in Sardinia, the region from which the chef comes. The raw materials, even humble ones, are selected with great care and are processed and enhanced in such a way that the result leaves you speechless! Particular note for the creamed risotto with pumpkin, mandarin, coffee and Alpine trout, as well as for Alfredo's eel and suckling pig! Just in case, the chef also improvised a small cake as a tribute! Thanks to Chefs like Melis, with his continuous research, the cuisine never ceases to amaze! At the end of dinner the chef chatted with us and accompanied us to the exit! We will definitely come back to visit you, see you soon!

03/02/2024: Con l’occasione del nostro anniversario il 3 febbraio abbiamo deciso di festeggiare nel ristorante in viaggio. Locale molto raffinato ed elegante, arredamento curato e ricercato! Nulla è lasciato al caso, tavolo, sedie, posateria e bicchieri! Personale di sala molto professionale e gentile. La cosa più bella, che nei ristoranti stelllati non sempre si trova, è che a presentare e servire i piatti è lo stesso chef Melis. Grande cultore della cucina e sempre alla ricerca di nuove sfide e piatti. Utilizza incredienti e materie prime di altissima qualità, dedicando una ricerca più unica che rara nel reperirle! Piatti squisiti che ti portano a compiere un vero viaggio di gusti e sapori, anche in terra sarda, regione da cui proviene lo chef. Le materie prime, anche umili, vengono selezionate con grande cura e vengono lavorate e valorizzate in tal modo che il risultato ti lascia senza parole! Particolare nota per il risotto mantecato con la zucca, mandarino, caffè e trota alpina, nonchè per l’anguilla e il maialino di Alfredo! Per l’occorrenza lo chef ha improvvisato anche una piccola tortina omaggiandola! Grazie a Chef come Melis con la sua continua ricerca la cucina non smette mai di stupire! Torneremo sicuramente a trovarvi, a presto!

I had a tomato pasta and a sliced ​​beef. the tomato pasta, in its simplicity, was made really well... you can feel that it is not the classic pre-cooked pasta normally used in restaurants. the sliced ​​beef was also very good: tender and tasty meat and perfectly cooked. prices quite high but that's okay considering the quality of the raw materials and the "love" put into preparing the dishes. the only small flaw that costs the fifth star is the fairly small portions... at least I would have happily eaten a little more pasta ;-) in any case recommended!
