11/05/2024: Update May 2024. I went back this evening with my son, after a long time. Not because of my disaffection, but because they had to rethink the activity by concentrating the work in the evening, which is a little less compatible with my habits and commitments. Coming back was like returning home: I found great friendliness and professionalism, combined with the usual care for the cuisine, which however is expressed in happy contaminations between the Tuscan tradition and more modern and innovative proposals, in which the attention to quality is appreciated of raw materials. A very pleasant, relaxing and satisfying dinner for the palate. Nice, nice to meet you again: congratulations and see you next time, certainly soon. I have known it since it was a family restaurant frequented mainly by university professors during the lunch break (it is located in the area where the humanities and law courses are located). The place has grown, in addition to university professors, tourists have also arrived, prices have risen a little, but the family atmosphere and friendliness have remained intact, while the quality has increased. Good raw materials, beautiful home-made Tuscan cuisine, and you leave the table satisfied. Highly recommended

29/04/2024: A wonderful lunch. The quality of the food was excellent with many well made Tuscan dishes. The service was terrific and the restaurant atmosphere very good. A lovely way to sign off our holiday. Recommended.

06/04/2024: A small and very nice restaurant, I think run by the owners, the gentleman was kind but sparse in words, we ate extraordinarily well, Spaghetti fruit of Mare and Spaghetti with Fungui and Truffle, both EXQUISITE!!! For dessert, the Sbrasolona Cake is once filled with Chocolate and warmed, the most DELICIOUS of all the ones we have eaten!!! They offer you wifi too. Good value for money SUPER RECOMMENDED Restaurant

06/04/2024: The biggest pizza menu I have ever seen! Sooo many options! All super fresh! Friendly service, English menu options and super cheap! 2 pizzas, 2 large beer, a large bottle of water and a coffee 24,50. Crazy! Highly recommend!

07/04/2024: Very good Cecina, as were the pizzas, I hadn't booked but they accommodated me anyway, it's a reference in the city, absolutely worth trying.

06/04/2024: We ordered the pizzas and were told that they would arrive at 9pm. At 9.40pm they still hadn't arrived, we were on the avenue of the farmhouses in the dark waiting.

03/04/2024: We went for dinner today and ordered Dahi balla , palak pakora , Garlic Naan , Tandoori Roti , Kadai Paneer, Chicken Tikka Biryani , Lassi Mango, Papad. Everything was so tasty and having Indian Restaurant near by Pisa Tower with an desi taste is good. Palak Pakora and Lassi Mango are show stealers just loved them 😍. Parking is also available near by restaurant both paid and free .

05/04/2024: Very kind and helpful staff. I've eaten Florentine steak in many other places but the one I ate in this restaurant... to say it was spectacular is an understatement. Excellent free parking nearby. I will definitely return with other friends.. highly recommended. Thank you

02/04/2024: We went on Sunday evening March 31st for the first time. Super family place. It was full, yet they were fast, very good. Good Tuscan appetizer, a nice flask of wine and super Florentine.......well done guys........Oh I forgot, excellent price.

20/03/2024: A show. The owner ironically welcomes you to his small, slightly retro restaurant. Typical Tuscan cuisine that makes the choice difficult. All delicious and tasty, served with skill and always with lots of laughter. You are immediately welcomed like family, it's a shame to have to leave at the end of the meal and after meeting the legendary cook. Congratulations to the pasta and beans, never tasted so good.

21/02/2024: Homemade, family-run environment... I ate cannelloni with ricotta and spinach and roasted rabbit with potatoes... Excellent quality and good portions. The flavors of when grandmother cooked.

We ordered several first courses with ragù/truffle and two platters of local cured meats and cheeses, all good and generous portions! Desserts and house wine, also good. No cover charge, great price!! I highly recommend if you are in Castellina and surrounding areas.

They brought us crostini with sausage and crouton to welcome us, we then ordered various courses including the inevitable Fiorentina, crostini with liver pâté, sliced ​​Chianina and pici with ragù. 05/04/2024: Great place for lunch and dinner. Prices are good and food is nice. The place could be a bit hectic in the evening, but the staff is very polite and active.
