13/09/2025: This was our fifth visit and it’s only gotten better each time. I’m amazed how they are able to maintain the heritage and authenticity of the property, while constantly re-investing and ensuring it has all the modern amenities one would need. They are not resting on their laurels. Moreover, there is an incredible continuity to the staff - you will see the same people each time you return, which makes it feel very comfortable and every single dept in the hotel is five stars. O

The cuisine, passionately curated by the husband-and-wife team, is delicate, authentic, and based on genuine local products. The decor is understated and meticulously crafted. An unforgettable experience combining beauty, hospitality, and authentic flavors.

07/09/2025: Fantastic experience, we have been there twice during our 6 days stay at Sorrento. It is a family run business, with so cozy atmosphere, outstanding cuisine, interesting selection of local wines and digestives of own preparation. The owner of the restaurant Albino was so attentive and made our visits to this venue unforgettable gastronomic experience. Wish to return to this place again in the future when succeed to get to Amalfi coast again.

15/09/2025: This was without a doubt the best food we had in Italy. The night starts with the restaurant picking you up from your hotel. ( and they take you back too!!) they are not located in the center of Amalfi so this is really a nice plus. Their story…. 4th generation… 4 brothers. Truly a wonderful family. And the food!! Exceptional!! Not to be missed is their seafood pasta in a bag!! Antonio…. Thank you for a wonderful evening!!!

11/09/2025: We had our best meal in the Amalfi Coast here. The service is outstanding, the waiters were kind and genuine. The food was very well flavoured, with many unique options. We tried several dishes. Would recommend this without hesitation and would 100% dine here again. They also have their own parking lot!

07/10/2025: I’ve eaten at many restaurants, but this experience was truly unique. The chef — and I mean the chef — did absolutely everything. He took our order, cooked the meal, served it with a smile, and even checked in to make sure everything was perfect. Watching one person handle an entire restaurant with such grace and passion was inspiring. You could tell he put his heart into every detail, from the seasoning of the food to the way the plate was presented. The food itself? Absolutely delicious — full of flavor and clearly made with love. The service was personal and genuine, because, well… it was personal! We had Gamberetti Sale e Pepe, Ravioli Caprese, Spaghetti Vongole, Spaghetti Puttanesca, Swordfish and Tiramisu. It might take a bit longer than usual since it’s a one-man operation, but honestly, that’s part of the charm. You’re not just eating out — you’re witnessing dedication in action. Highly recommend for anyone who appreciates craftsmanship, authenticity, and a touch of human magic in their dining experience.

14/10/2025: We are from South Korea and have travel to Amalfi, visit this restaurant for our dinner. Everyone was so kind and made us happy from the entrance. Chef's food was just ‘fantastic’!!!!!! I love this place and chef, also every workers! Perfect restaurant for me ever❤️

08/10/2025: Perfect dining experience! Everything from the owner, the waitress, the food and the atmosphere, this was one of the most memorable meals we had in 16 days in Italy! We did it right down the menu with Scallops as the appetizer, then shared the 1st course and the each ordered our own 2nd courses. Each stage of the food was perfection and you could get a sense that this is going to be a special meal right from the start with the appetizer. I'm not a wine drinker so the owner suggested a type of lemon soda they have and it was served with a slice of orange 🍊... I loved it and ordered another... it's like he knew me better than I know myself. The sauces on each protein were smoothly blended with all the flavors working together in harmony! Beautiful view of the Amalfi Coast doesn't hurt either! On the way out I told him I would write a review so here it is a day later I highly recommend taking the time to dine here as you won't regret it. My wife and I both agreed this was the meal of the entire trip!

12/09/2025: I stumbled upon this restaurant because a friend on the beach told me about it. I was greeted with a big smile, and that's already a great start... but I didn't imagine what I discovered. A real surprise: excellent food, expertly prepared using top-quality ingredients. The service was attentive and courteous, even thoughtful, I'd say. Kindness reigns supreme... something not always a given when dining out. Result: in the month of August alone, I returned five times... bringing other friends who thanked me for the pleasant experience. Yes, because dinner on the terrace of Osteria dei Compari... is first and foremost an experience... a way to leave stress and chaos behind and reclaim a sense of well-being that belongs to a bygone era... eating good food and spending time with others. The food is exquisite, from the starters to the first and second courses, all good, the prices are fantastic. I have been to restaurants but there is no one like this one that is truly top-notch.
